Definitely not worth the price for what we got. The pictures on the website and Expedia do show the rooms and the exterior, but from what feels like about 5 years ago. The hotel charges a resort fee, but has a long way to go before it's close to a resort. The bathroom door sticks on the rug so badly that it's worn grooves into the rug and it's basically unable to be used without arguing with it...which is the last thing you want to do if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night...or in the morning. Or ever. There is a refrigerator in the room. Technically. I mean, physically it's there, but the block of ice in the back of it makes me question the last time anyone cleaned it...or even opened it. And, since the microwave is on a rolling cart at the end of the hallway, I am going to guess that a microwave wasn't included in that resort fee. The quiet hours are a joke and they aren't enforced. At all. And, before the quiet hours, children screaming and jumping into the spa, and then screaming and jumping into the pool, with no parental supervision...in a POOL area...is totally fine...as long as it's done after 8am and before 10pm. They say there are no parties allowed on the property...but 15 screaming kids with no parents qualifies as a party, and a future lawsuit, but that's not o me here. And, the response of the front desk to tell us that quiet hours are in 20 minutes, so we only had to put up with it for 20 more minutes was...less than ideal. The blackout curtains...I guess they probably would be, if they met in the middle and stayed closed. I am guessing the efforts by previous guests to keep them closed are what caused the holes in the room sheer drapes. Although it could have been those kids from the pool hanging off the curtains. Who knows, as long as it happened before 10pm, the hotel would probably allow kids to use the sheer drapes to zipline into the pool. The Wi-fi connection is awful, with no secured access at all. I realize passwords for hotel Wi-fi aren't the most secure things ever, but a little effort to at least try to regulate who has free access to the network would be nice...especially as, you guessed it, this Wi-fi is one of the perks with the resort fee. Although at 5.17 mbps at 10:30pm (so likely not a high use time) my guess is the Wi-Fi doesn't need security as no self respecting criminal is going to bother with speeds that slow. There's no daily housekeeping, and no information given as to how many nights of a stay would be required before they were going to even offer in room service. Guessing that's not covered in the joke of a resort fee. We have, currently, a reservation at the on site restaurant for dinner tomorrow. We will be going somewhere else, as we will not be paying the prices they charge for what we are guessing will be a sub-par meal. And, for reasons that should be obvious, we have decided not to give them a chance to prove us wrong. The balcony door doesn't lock. I
