"We had low expectations with this hotel due to previous reviews. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed that there wasn’t anyone in the reception until 3:01pm. Other than that, the room was a little dim, but clean and they do day cleaning and top up of room. There is a smart TV and water heater which were useful. Breakfast was average. We like that there is a pantry with free snacks for guests. The location was superb!"

GGuest UserA great little find, right next to the train station and only 1 stop from the city. Fab amenities, modern and well maintained, however the check-in process was a nightmare. Extremely difficult to navigate. We booked through trip.com and received no prior comms from kook as what to do we arrived as it doesn't have a check-in/front desk. There were 4 other couples struggling to enter/check-in when we arrived, so it wasn't just us that found it extremely difficult. I also didn't like the idea of leaving a digital copy of my passport, where ID theft and cyber hacking is more common these days. Parking is extra and chargeable at CHF2.50 per hour but there is blue zone parking a short walk away. The lady/teception next door at Moxy was extremely helpful. Next time, I'd probably book Moxy instead!

CChiayeeAmazing place, kitchen has everything, microwave, salt and pepper (just no oil) utensils and cooking equipment is all in good condition.
Only downside is there’s no air conditioning, but the staffs were nice enough to provide me a fan to put in the room. Appreciate the friendly staffs for helping me with the check in process and i was able to check in early thankfully.

There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious, making me feel incredibly pampered first thing in the morning. Fresh ingredients were used, and the seasoning was just right – I couldn't help but overeat!
The dining area had a bright and clean atmosphere, and the staff were very attentive. Thanks to them, I was able to start my day in a great mood. You often see reviews mentioning 'hotels with delicious breakfast,' but this place truly lives up to that. It's a hotel I'd want to stay at again just to enjoy the breakfast. Very satisfied.

BBOSS-LinOverall, this hotel is quite good. The location is very convenient, close to the city center, and surrounded by many restaurants and shopping areas. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable, suitable for extended stays. Although some areas are slightly dated, the hotel is clean and tidy overall. The hotel service is also excellent; the front desk staff are friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes are efficient.

They also offered travel passes and gave great recommendations for local attractions and food. The view from the hotel was beautiful, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

QQIANThe hotel is halfway up the hill, some distance from the Grindelwald center and the train station. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be transported. We are self-driving. There is free parking in the hotel. It is relatively close to the cable car station of the first mountain. There are not many types of breakfast at the hotel. But it is enough, the biggest feature is the scenery, so beautiful! Whether it is a room or a place to have breakfast, look out for the snowy mountain, if you come to grindelwald next time, you will stay here!
