Those who mind this detail should consider it carefully. Otherwise, it's a very comfortable and pleasant hotel.

The room is not big, but it is relatively clean. You need to make a reservation for the restaurant. The hotel's surroundings are very comfortable. It is currently the peak season for European tourism, and the price is not low.

It is embarrassing for this hotel to call itself a five star. We contacted the hotel several weeks before our stay to arrange multiple experiences and restaurant reservations through their concierge service. We were clearly assured that everything would be handled. Upon arrival, we discovered that absolutely nothing had been booked. As a result, the experiences we had carefully planned well in advance were fully sold out. An entire purpose of our trip was ruined due to their complete lack of follow-through. The staff appear friendly, but they come across as extremely young, untrained, and unprofessional. The overall impression is gap-year teenagers running the place rather than competent hospitality professionals. For a weekend stay costing around €7,000, this level of immaturity and incompetence is frankly unacceptable. The restaurant experience was equally disappointing. Waiting a full hour for two soft-boiled eggs is absurd in any establishment — let alone one positioning itself as high-end. When the eggs finally arrived, they had forgotten a teaspoon, which then required another 30-minute wait. The service felt chaotic, careless, and completely lacking in basic standards. Communication in English was also deeply frustrating. When staff did not understand what was being said, instead of asking for clarification, they simply nodded and said “yes, of course,” only to disappear. There was no confidence that requests were understood, let alone executed. Overall, this was a shockingly poor experience for the price paid. The hotel markets itself at a premium level, but the service and professionalism were nowhere near that standard. It was not just disappointing but embarrassing.

Staying in this hotel was quite a miserable experience, barely adequate for a hostel, never mind a 3 star establishment. The room (although quite clean) was tiny for our party of two. The luggage occupied almost half of the floor, making us jump over it when we needed to move across the room. The window was facing the railway, which was expected on the one hand, but sleeping with it open was very noisy in the morning. Here is the list of things that were missing compared to a standard hotel experience: - no kettle (had to be asked for) - just two paper/plastic cups in the bathroom, no ceramic mugs in the room - no tea, coffee or anything really to have a snack with - no safe in the room (common one at the reception) - no fridge (seriously?) - no slippers (and they don’t provide them) - no towel heaters or radiators in the room - just 3 towels for two people, no hand towels - no bath robes - no bide or hygienic shower - no toilet brush (are you for real?) - one trash can (without a bag) - extremely small rooms, no adequate space for two luggage bags On the positive side, the breakfast was decent, though nothing to write home about. Hot and protein-rich options were definitely limited. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, upon check-in, I was charged 60EUR as a damage deposit which was not stated when I booked a room. I’m yet to have it returned. The hotel/network drives this alleged “eco-friendly” agenda but in reality it’s just extreme economy and penny-pinching at the guests’ expense. Very disappointing. 1/5.

Very well located and very comfortable hotel. Receptionist Ninno was very helpful with car rental and a day trip to Annecy and Ninno is a very cheerfull person. Everything was perfect.

The decor is very modern and upscale. The bed is huge, and we paid extra to upgrade to a suite with a comfortable living room. The bathroom and shower are separate, with a very spacious shower area and double sinks. The toiletries are high-end, and the location is super convenient, right outside the train station.
