We booked two nights at this hotel for a group of friends travelling on motorbikes. The hotel has secure garage parking for a fee. The hotel is also close to the castle. Unfortunately the above are the only good points about this hotel and our experience staying there. Our room, although large and spacious, was dirty and very dated. There were no curtains at the windows, only external shutters. So you had no privacy in your room as other guests and members of the public could see in. Eg, the bathroom had a window facing the road. I found on check-in that the lady at reception was very rude. This theme continued during our stay. I can never understand why people who work in hospitality are like this. We were overcharged for our room. I booked 5 rooms for our party and we paid €50 more than everyone else for the same room. When I tried to explain this to the lady at reception, she just looked at me and said 'i know, too bad'. Beware mosquitos whilst staying, we received lots of insect bites whilst in our rooms. The sofa bed was supposed to have been made up in two of the rooms, however it wasn't. We requested this from reception, however on our return from viewing the castle found that the sofa bed had been made up, but we had no top covers (quilt or sheets!). The breakfast spread was very poor. It was buffet style, but with very few choices and items to eat. On two mornings the coffee ran out and the staff never brought out any more, even when requested. On offer was bread products, pre-wrapped cheese, yogurt and cereal. However as with the coffee, only a certain amount was on offer and when it ran out there was not more. NOTE: reception is not open all of the time, so you have a code to access the building. This can be a problem for guests checking in/ out. We will not stay here again, and I would advise anyone planning to stay in Carcassonne to choose another hotel.

Close to the train station and also the historic cathedral. Staff is friendly and helpful. The ability to do laundry was a plus. Rooms clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Narbonne.

Hotel très bien placé, Personnel aux petits soins pour vous . Juste un point négatif au petit déjeuner. Je demande des œufs brouillé ou au plat . La serveuse va demander en cuisine et la un cuisinier cri après elle . J'ai trouvé ça honteux . La pauvre serveuse y était pour rien. Il était 10h10 en sachant que les petits déjeuner s'arrête à 10h30 . Je me suis excusè auprès de la serveuse car à cause de moi , elle s'est faite disputer. On m'a quand même apporté 2 œufs au plat . Donc à revoir l'habitude de ce cuisinier car on l'entendait dans la salle .

We booked this hotel for a family break having carried out a lot of research on star rating, location and previous guest reviews. The rooms are clean, and of a good size (we had a double room on the 7th floor). Air con worked a treat which was soooh needed as Toulouse was sweltering during the day and evening. Bathroom was modern and clean and the room had a safe, fridge and coffee maker. We ate breakfast the first day here which was quite expensive at £25 pp but it was fab with such a lovely selection of food and the staff were so helpful and friendly. A 10 minute walk from the main squares but not a problem at all. Would I stay here again? Definitely a yes.

El chico que estaba en recepción cuando llegamos fue amabilísimo. No habíamos podido avisar de que íbamos con un bebé, y nos consiguió la cuna en el momento. El estudio era como en las fotos. Sin grandes lujos, pero con todo lo necesario. Además, la ubicación del hotel es excelente para hacer turismo, a 5 minutos del Capitole. Pudimos aparcar en la calle de al lado esa noche y al día siguiente, lo metimos en el parking del hotel, más barato que los de alrededor. Hay café gratis durante todo el día, ya que en la cocina de la habitación, no había cafetera. Tiene un supermercado justo al lado para coger lo necesario si se quiere comer en el hotel.

Comfortable well appointed bedroom, but un-inviting public areas. Better than average breakfast buffet with efficient breakfast staff. Dinner menu overpriced for what it is. Be wary on check out as the reception will take a pre-auth on your card prior to your stay which they then try to claim is a deposit and attempt to charge your card a second time for the full value of the stay rather than undertaking a completion on the pre-auth already taken - which is normal hospitality practice.

As the title says - a great experience. Top location with underground secure parking on the outer circular tram line. Tram stop in front of the hotel so no need to take your card anywhere for visiting the city and dining out. The tram allegedly also runs all the way towards the beach. The hotel itself is very good shape. Nice and spacious rooms. Above average breakfast for a Courtyard. The best part: the hotel pool. All you need - sunchairs and umbrellas and a very well maintained pool. We also enjoyed our terrace - good to have an after dinner drink on. Bar (as part of the main restaurant) well managed with friendly staff all the way through. That also goes for front desk staff. Two things they need to work on: housekeeping - simply sloppy without going into details. Secondly (and that applies only to travelers getting a Bonvoy tier welcome gift), the choice you make upon checkin is apparently not recorded anywhere. As such, the EUR 20 per day credit for beverages is not deducted on your final bill so you better check and don't opt for getting your bill by email. That is a pitty and very unfortunate - such a great hotel and then, towards the end, you get that experience which just feels wrong and kind of leaves a bitter-sour aftertaste. However, will certainly go back, with the above in mind.

The staff was great. They were however aware I was arriving because my son had a medical emergency there and I would be bringing him there when he was released and I asked if they had air conditioning and explained it was very important as he had a sever asthma attack that resulted in respiratory failure. The first room the ac did not cool the room. They moved me and the second room smelled like smoke and also was not cool. In the main picture it hides the neighborhood. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel due to the ac, the taxi requests being forgotten resulting in me running late to the hospital. I think when you ask and need comfort for someone who is sick, if they can’t accommodate it they should be honest.
