Good value for money hotel. Rooms spacious and clean, good size swimming pool and staff were always helpful and friendly. WiFi worked without fault for duration of 14 night stay. Hotel has a lot of potential, and could be so much more with money spent. It was very dated, with new decor and lick of paint here and there, especially in reception area and around pool it could be so much more. I guess the very reasonable room rates reflect this though. Excellent location on 2nd road opposite soi 8. On the baht bus route and only couple of minutes walk to the beach. Would stop here again should I return to pattaya

This is the second time I stay at this hotel. However, maybe there are more people come during summer so the service is not as good as before. I called the staff to pick up clothes at morning for laundry, but seems he forgot about that. The next day they got the wrong clothes for me and also charge for wrong items. Except this overall is still a good experience.

There’s a lot to like about the resort, especially the amazing pools (one is enormous), decent location and well priced food. The children’s area is good (although costs extra) and there is also no problem ordering in food as well. Most staff very helpful and pleasant as usual in Thailand. The sunset bar is very nice and others pleasant. Breezo beachside restaurant was really nice for lunch and dinner. On the downside side some of the hotel is a little dated, the lifeguards are not really lifeguards at all (more often napping or delivering orders than watching the pool (and the service by the pool was generally slow an inattentive). Unfortunately some of the beach area is a little dirty (tourism and plastic pollution the fault but the hotel didn’t seem to have people clearing up - guests did on occasion). The sea is also not quite as pristine as the pictures suggest but that’s at least partly due to the season I suspect. On a more positive note We were able to get a late check out (half day paid for) as our flight was extremely delayed which was good and in room breakfast was good value. On the whole an enjoyable stay and decent value for money so I would recommend, but not quite at the 5 star rate of some hotels in Thailand.

We chose this resort as a 13 night stopover flying home from Switzerland to Australia, to break up the 20 hour flight for our 13 month old son. And so glad we did. Just 90 mins from the airport, we were collected from the airport in a private airconditioned van and driven to the resort. We arrived early morning, and as the checkin is not until 3pm we were worried about the heat and our baby. But the fantastic Jeet at the front counter worked his magic and we luckily got into the nice airconditioned room by 10.30. Let me start by saying the rooms are a great size for a family of 3. Complete with minibar, plenty of suitcase space, comfortable bed, and very importantly a great airconditioner. The resort itself is quite large and very well gardened, but they have golf carts at the reception - you can just call reception and they will come and pick you up. But my advice is to ask for a room closest to the restaurant - that way you are close to the sea, pool, and restaurant- and its very quick to walk to any of them. The food in the restaurant is amazing. For breakfast you have all the cereals, plus an egg station where someone cooks eggs to your liking. Plus about 15 hot dishes, whether it be bacon, sausages, baked beans, or the local food of curries, noodles, fish, pork - you name it - they have it all. And then there's the fresh fruit, fruit juices, hot coffee of every sort, and a bakery area with croissants and pastries. What more do you need? Dinner was a great range also - loved the fisherman's basket! But the best thing about the stay here is the people. If you've ever been to Fiji, I rate it as friendly as that. Starting by Jeet at the reception, the restaurant staff are exceptional. In the mornings, the wonderful Priya, Benz and Ton would already have our table waiting for us, complete with baby chair. Quite often we would wonder what our son was smiling at - we would turn around and 3 of the staff would be smiling at him and waving. As soon as we were finished with a plate or coffee, someone would grab it and remove it. We felt like royalty. Ton would lay out towels for us on the sunloungers and set 2 seats aside for us which were in the shade for the baby - every single morning! Just amazing. Of an evening, Oum Oim, Nok and Mickey would also have a table reserved for us, in front of a fan, which was important as there is no aircon in the restaurant (but they have heaps of fans which are enough). They would also entertain our son with smiles while we ate. The whole resort and staff just felt like a family. The staff will do anything for you - you just have to ask. Other staff which deserve a mention - the chef (didn't get his name), Sowanee and Lit were also very friendly and helpful. I hope I've mentioned everyone as you all did a fantastic job and made us feel so very welcome. We will definitely be flying Thai airways again, and doing a stopover at this resort. 2 bedrooms apartment have magnificent view.... Beds are nice and very cómfortaable..... Infinity pool and especially the sauna was the best.... Only thing is they didn't allow us to use the kitchen, even they have Italian brand kitchen stove and equipments..... And this property has no restaurant.... Its good and suitable for. Long term staying...

Great hotel in superb location. The hotel would be suitable for many guest types. Wonderful friendly service and absolutely no problems. Exactly what you want. Breakfast is good, the sausages are excellent. I ate Hawaiian pizza in a set deal good value and tasty. I even exercised in the gym twice so l could justify a good evening out in Pattaya - the paradise city.

I was looking for a new hotel to stay at after leaving the Royal Cliff, and was approached when passing the Sanctuary by Nakhon the Bell Boy who kindly offered to show us round the hotel. I’m lucky he came to speak to us as I may have not had a look so was great on his part to speak to us and offer us a look around! He was great and helpful. A week later, we decided to book in for 10 nights and what a great decision that was! Amazing hotel, perfect location and great staff, we really enjoyed our stay and great prices also! I am very keen to return to the Sanctuary when I come back to Pattaya as it ticks all the boxes for me. Highly recommend
