Kota Batu mempunyai cuaca tanah tinggi yang lebih sejuk berbanding kawasan lain di Jawa Timur, menjadikannya sesuai untuk dikunjungi sepanjang tahun. Namun, bagi pelancong Malaysia yang ingin menerokai taman tema, air terjun, kebun buah-buahan dan tarikan luar dengan lebih selesa, musim kering sekitar Mei hingga Oktober biasanya lebih sesuai kerana hujan lebih kurang berbanding musim hujan. Menurut BMKG, musim hujan di seluruh Kota Batu secara umumnya berlangsung sekitar November hingga April. Jadi, Mei hingga Oktober boleh menjadi tempoh yang praktikal untuk percutian Kota Batu kerana lebih sesuai untuk menggabungkan tarikan luar, aktiviti keluarga dan penerokaan alam semula jadi. Untuk suasana yang lebih tenang, pertimbangkan untuk datang pada hari bekerja dan elakkan cuti umum serta musim cuti sekolah Indonesia.
