I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which made me feel comfortable right away. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and how tidy everything was. The bed was also very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. The hotel itself has a pleasant atmosphere and a great location, making it convenient to get around and explore the surrounding area. The facilities were also well-kept and added to the overall experience. What stood out the most was the quality of the service. The staff consistently made an effort to ensure that everything was taken care of, and their warm attitude really made a difference. Overall, I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and would definitely consider staying here again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and pleasant place to stay.

We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. And once again, special thanks to Wike you are a star ⭐

Location is the best right in front of Tugu Monument Malang, Breakfast is delicious with some delicious choice from local like Nasi Pecel to western such as yoghurt, cereal also dumpling. Room is nice and clean but since the bed is need to improve. For a 5* hotel at least bed size 180x200 so with bring kids is not so comfortable. All hotel surround with garden and open space so guests can enjoy the fresh air specially on July - August when temperatures could be cool than usual.

Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Overall, the place was clean and looked new. Room was clean and relatively spacious. There were only a few, small issues that prevented this from being an all 5 star review. Firstly, sound proofing was bad. I could hear what my neighbours were watching on TV at night, and as we were facing the pool, we could also hear when people were running around there. Secondly, the lifts were really slow and narrow for a seemingly new hotel. The first day I arrived, 2 out of 3 lifts were not working. And the lifts themselves were very narrow and uncomfortable to be in when there were more than 5 persons in the lift. Lastly, the kettle provided in the room was faulty, it didn't stop boiling unless you pressed it manually, making it a bit dangerous for guests who are unaware. But like I said, these just irked me, and other guests may not feel the same way. Overall still a very pleasant stay and good amenities all around.

The staff is very helpful and hospitable. Cleaned every day. But the room was very small and there was not enough storage space. There are even very few shelves. The inconvenient faucet in the bathroom had to be pressed continuously for water to flow out of it. Without this, the water flows within a second and you don’t even have time to wash your hands. If you wanted to wash your face, you had to press the handle with your forehead, since your hands were busy. Especially in the bathroom everything is old.
