The only thing I didn't quite understand was why kids weren't allowed in the executive lounge, but thankfully, they opened up a meeting room for us to dine in instead.

We also heard noise when the air-conditioning was turned on. The flushing system in the master bathroom was faulty, and there was no dishwashing liquid provided in the kitchen. I stayed in their capsule hotel on the 9th floor of the hotel building, and it was beyond my expectation. The place was very clean (floor, bathroom). They have 18 pods in total, with 5:shared bathrooms which were super clean. Towel, dental kit and slipper were provided. Soap was in the every bathroom. The pod was cool, opened only with card. im 162cm and can sit comfortably on the bed and still have around 20cm space above my head to the pod's ceiling. Inside the pod there were tv (which i didnt use), mirror with light, reading light, socket, headphones, and 2 aircon ventilation. Also the price is include breakfast, which is nice. The bed was a bit thin but other things there were perfect. Other good things is they have swimming pool.

We had an awesome time at Shangrila Jakarta. Booking the clubroom was the best decision as we could have free flow drinks, afternoon tea and evening canapes. For those with children and not allowed into the lounge during evening time, they have allocated an area in the lobby lounge for families to enjoy their evening canapes and adults could still order any alcohol drinks served ala carte should they desire to do so—all inclusive. Lounge food was delicious. There were scones, salmon, smoked salmon sandwiches, profiteroles, sushi, satay, cakes etc. we would absolutely do the same should we be going to Jakarta again. There’s also a water playground with water slides and big tipping bucket for children. Pool is big and enjoyable. There are also fringe activities for children like bracelet making and also a bouncy castle and a swing. Rooms were kept clean and tidy and the toilet (with separate bathtub and shower) was huge! Room temperature control was accurate and good too. The only thing is that it is not located walking distance/connected to the big malls. But taking a bluebird cab out to mega malls is easy and also of budget cost. Breakfast spread is amazing and seating was fast too. Kids were also greeted with goodie bags on arrival. Hospitality was great. Thanks so much Shangrila!

Great location, close to the train station coming from the airport and right next to the subway. Big shopping malls are within walking distance. During my stay, some floors were being renovated, so there was some noise disturbance during the day. The toilet and shower are in separate rooms. The rain shower head is old and splashes water everywhere. The sink is outside the bathroom, and its design makes it easy to splash water out if the faucet is turned on too high. Breakfast was decent, with some variety each day, and available until 10 AM. The lighting was too dim; I prefer brighter. There's no master control for the lights, so you have to turn each one off individually.

We booked this hotel as it is near to Jakarta airport and we have an early flight 530am to catch, the next day. The hotel provides complimentary airport transfer even at 3am! We also requested for a morning call at 230am and it was delivered on time. As for room condition, no complaints as the standard was good as per Citadines brand. Will stay here again if we had to catch an early flight the next time.

We have 2pax. Booked a 3 bedrooms (room 808,level 8) as most of the rooms were sold out. And getting a standard room and junior suite for the two og us becomes too expensive than a 3 bedrooms . Generally the service is considered good. Mattress is good by serta. 3 bedrooms have 2 toilet, one in ensuite with a room, the other can be shared with two other rooms. King size bed for 2 rooms while 2 single rooms for the 3rd room. Clean, tidy and provide basic amenities, just old furniture. The 2 bedrooms with kind size bed is facing the busy road (able to see St Regis Jot), so you can imagine the traffic noise from early morning. Balcony sliding door in one of the rooms cant be lock up at all as constructed alignment is put. A pity that this is not being supervised by the hotel closely. The common toilet has water leaking issue, from ceiling to floor. Altered twice within 2 days but they said they cant fix it and cant move us to other room. Question is, why selling it? Is so dangerous to have water keep leaking down and flooding the floor. Habitable cafe next to hotel provide decent dinning from 10am onwards till over midnight (turns into a live band pub in night).

This was my third stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with a nice surrounding area and some great restaurants nearby. This time I booked the cheapest room, and it was quite cramped and looked a bit old, but the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. By the way, the pump on the shower gel was broken; I'm surprised house keeping didn't notice! The front desk assigned us a high-floor room, and the view was really nice! The breakfast buffet was decent, though they didn't have coffee. Also, having a laundry room is very convenient.
