Service: We stayed for two nights from July 3rd to 5th. When checking in, we found that the price had dropped by over 100 RMB. They refunded the difference and upgraded our room, which was excellent service with a great attitude. Location: The room's location was good. If you're not looking for a sea view, it's quite good for a city view room, and convenient for getting anywhere. Facilities: The hotel is a bit older, built some time ago, so the facilities aren't new and feel a bit dated, but they are perfectly functional. You can still see the essence of a five-star hotel. Dining: The seafood processing service at the restaurant on the first floor was good; the quality was genuinely high, and the prices were affordable. I recommend that anyone wanting to experience seafood buy it at the market and bring it back to the hotel for processing.

1. The hotel's location is excellent: it's about 1 km from the Olympic Sailing Center, and there's a subway station very close by, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There are also many dining options around the hotel, allowing us to try different cuisines every day. 2. We were upgraded to a sea-view room. Although the room was a bit old, the cleanliness was good. The bedding was very comfortable, which greatly improved my sleep. The service from the front desk, concierge, and housekeeping staff was all excellent. 3. I have a small suggestion regarding the dining: We checked out at 6:30 AM, just as the restaurant was opening. Since we were in a hurry, we asked the restaurant to pack some breakfast for us to take away. What disappointed me was that, despite the restaurant supervisor mentioning a standard packing procedure during our prior conversation, we ended up with two croissants and two Danish pastries, unwrapped, in a paper bag. I think this standard is too low. At the very least, they should have been put in a food-safe bag to separate them from the paper. This was the only small letdown during our stay.

Room: The floor I was on was average. The soundproofing was decent, but the facilities are quite old. The TV was slow to turn on, and the bathtub faucet leaked. Both of the children's playpens provided had holes. Service: The service was very mediocre, I'd even say poor. I've stayed in many hotels, and this Westin really underperformed. Especially the front desk staff during check-in – they didn't provide any basic information about the hotel, like breakfast times or the pool's location. We had two kids, two strollers, luggage, and a bunch of bags, and all the staff completely ignored us. Not one person offered to help. The only positive point was the housekeeping gentleman, who was very diligent and responsible despite all the issues. Breakfast: We booked for three consecutive days and specifically included breakfast. The food selection wasn't very rich, and the service was still bad. On the first morning, a Saturday, we went down around 9 AM and had to queue. With the crowd, the service simply couldn't keep up. We were moved twice, and the young lady at the noodle station was flustered. On the second day, they couldn't even replenish cups and bowls in time, and many dishes weren't refilled after 9:30 AM. We just gave up on breakfast on the third day. All food deliveries were sent to a central locker, and we had to call concierge to have them brought up, which added extra work. For this price, this location, and this service, I'm extremely disappointed. Staying here for three days then moving to the Haitian hotel truly showed me that there's no comparison. The Haitian hotel wins hands down. This is a genuine review; it was so bad that I had to comment. The only benefit for traveling with kids was the heated 'vibrancy pool,' which the children enjoyed. That's it.

A special thanks to our concierge, Cherry, whose service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't familiar with the local area or transportation, and online food guides were chaotic and unreliable, making me worried about picking the wrong places. Cherry understood my desire to try authentic local cuisine and went above and beyond by taking her personal time to hand-draw a food map. This map clearly marked genuine BBQ joints,特色混沌 (local specialty wontons), and other established local eateries in the Shinan District. She cleverly helped me avoid tourist traps, precisely noting store locations, opening hours, and average spending per person. Beyond that, she kindly advised on transportation methods and reminded me to steer clear of congested routes. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. Our room was brightly lit with abundant natural light, and the soft furnishings were sophisticated yet minimalist. The housekeeping was impeccable, and amenities were always well-stocked. Cherry's sincerity shone through; there was no pushy sales talk, just naturally comfortable service. These thoughtful, personalized touches, though small, truly doubled the happiness of our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers – it's reliable and won't disappoint. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

He proactively arranged a quiet and comfortable room for us and meticulously provided all the details about the hotel, including breakfast times and location, elevator access, and even local sightseeing and transportation tips. Whenever I had a question, Harvey patiently answered and actively helped coordinate solutions. His professionalism was outstanding, and he was genuinely warm and enthusiastic, ensuring a truly comforting experience throughout my stay. Bearing the Crowne Plaza name, it once must have been glorious. My first stay here was a huge disappointment. The beach near the hotel is truly mediocre. The outdoor family pool is out of service, the Ferris wheel isn't operating, and the surrounding environment is completely different from what I saw in the online videos – a classic case of expectation vs. reality. Breakfast is served one floor below the lobby, and there's no direct elevator access, which is inconvenient for older guests. I had to ask a staff member who led us through a long, disused section of the restaurant, opened a door, took us to an elevator in Zone A to the second-floor lobby, and then we had to walk back to Zone B to catch another elevator. The breakfast selection was extensive, but the taste wasn't up to 4-star standards. The staff were all very nice, but the management is nowhere near 5-star hotel quality. I understand that with lower prices, there are more guests, and they need to cut costs. I definitely won't be returning for a second visit.

The hotel service was excellent. As soon as our car pulled up, a staff member came out to help us with our luggage and escorted us all the way to our room. You rarely find this level of service anymore. The breakfast was plentiful, and the dining environment was pleasant. They're also pet-friendly and don't charge extra, providing various pet supplies and toys in the room. The dedicated pet rooms even have disposable duvet covers, pillowcases, and sheets, which was a nice touch. I'd like to make a special plea to pet owners traveling with their furry friends: please manage your pets well, respect those who don't care for animals, and appreciate the convenience hotels like this offer for pet travel.

His service was just right – professional and thoughtful without being overly formal, which significantly offset the small issue with breakfast. Overall, I left feeling very satisfied with my stay.

The staff are very friendly and even arranged a room with a partial sea view, which was great. However, the hallway carpet was a bit dirty this time, so hopefully, they'll improve on that. The hotel is conveniently located near plenty of dining and shopping options, and it's not far from the main attractions either.

We took our kids to Qingdao and booked a 4-day, 3-night stay. We got a free upgrade to a sea-view room, and they even gave the little one a sand-digging toy, plus complimentary fruit and drinks. Every staff member provided excellent service; it was a fantastic experience. The hotel has direct access to the beach from the basement, which is super convenient. The beach right below the hotel was uncrowded and peaceful (whereas the area closer to the Shilaoren entrance was packed with people). There are also several large shopping malls near the hotel, making dining very easy. We could order takeout from Hema, 7-Eleven, and Decathlon, which was great because we didn't bring all our gear, haha. The hotel didn't have many parent-child activities; we mostly just dug in the sand and swam during our stay. It would be even better if there were more family-friendly activities.

I would definitely consider staying here again if the prices are more attractive during the off-peak season.

Came to Qingdao with my parents and booked the St. Regis last minute. The room was much bigger and nicer than the pictures on Trip.com, with amazing city and sea views. Our butler, Jenny, was incredibly professional and provided excellent service. She was very responsive on WeChat, even helping me pick up my takeout and upgrading our first mini-bar to be complimentary. A big shoutout to Jenny, our wonderful butler! The weather in Qingdao has been mostly cloudy these past few days, but I'm sure the view from the window would be even more stunning on a sunny day. I would definitely recommend the St. Regis Qingdao to my friends.

Secondly, both the sea and city views are incredible; you can watch the ocean from your bed, plus there's a sea-view balcony and a revolving restaurant on the top floor. What's more, the service is professional, warm, and attentive – they're always ready to help. The overall decor is grand, elegant, and spotless; any minor signs of age are completely overshadowed by its charm. All in all, it's great value for money. When I visit Qingdao again, I'll definitely choose Huiquan Hotel.

I booked a 270-degree room, and upon arrival, they thoughtfully upgraded me to a special sea view king room, which significantly enhanced my sea-watching experience. The room was also several floors higher than what I originally booked, offering an excellent view! The cleaning lady was very warm and diligent; the room was spotless when I checked in. Although I didn't request cleaning during my stay, she'd ask every day if I needed anything cleaned and always replenished bottled water, tissues, and other consumables daily. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to catch a taxi, bus, or subway. The beach is right across the street, and it's just a two-minute walk to the Third Bathing Beach. A ten-minute stroll along the coastal boardwalk leads to May Fourth Square, and you can easily walk to Badaguan and Taipingjiao Park. The Olympic Sailing Center, Lover's Dam, Yanner Island, Wheat Island, and Signal Hill are all within a few kilometers. Qingdao feels like a big park where you can relax just by walking a few steps, even if you don't visit the famous tourist spots; simply strolling around the neighborhood every day is delightful. Just be careful when crossing the street at crosswalks, as cars can drive quite fast at many intersections without traffic lights. There's so much delicious food, and the prices are fair; generally, any restaurant of a decent size is likely to serve good quality.

The villas have different types of layouts. Customer service will contact you to choose before you stay. It is especially suitable for 5 to 6 people, with a bed of 1.8 meters, 1.5 meters, and 1.2 meters, and a tatami, which is equivalent to four bedrooms. The underground floor is a hot spring and sauna room, one indoor and one outdoor. I prefer the outdoor hot spring. Although it is not big, it is very comfortable to soak in the hot spring with a breeze, which is much more comfortable than the indoor one. The customer service said that it was disinfected with 84 before check-in, but I didn't see it with my own eyes. The hot spring water must be put in advance. First, the temperature is too high and needs to be cooled for a while. If it can't be cooled, add cold water. Second, it takes a long time. Don't believe the thermometer next to the hot spring. It shows that it is scalding when it is 41 degrees, but 35 degrees is just right. There is a massage bed on the underground floor, and technicians can come to do essential oil massage or foot massage. There is also a small children's playground, which is very thoughtful. The breakfast is delivered to the room, which is very rich. You can have dinner in the restaurant. The environment is very good, the dishes and service are also good. I strongly recommend charcoal grilled beef ribs, which are super delicious. The shampoo and shower gel in the room are from the L'Occitane verbena series, and other things are also complete, including a toilet cover. The quality of the toothbrush is average, so it is recommended to bring your own. There are two types of pillows: buckwheat and silk cotton, which is very considerate. The kitchen utensils are complete, you can cook, and there are soy sauce and peanut oil. Please forgive me for not taking photos, the overall experience is still very good. There is a coastal park 15 minutes away from the hotel by car. The next morning, I went there just in time for low tide. I bought sea-hunting tools from the surrounding area and dug a small bucket of clams. There were few people and many clams, which was too fun. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this trip, and the price-performance ratio was very high. I would like to make a few suggestions, and I hope there will be improvements next time I go. 1. The tatami mat is a bit hard to lay a layer of mattress, and it is recommended to match it with a soft mattress in the future. 2. The toilet on the first floor of the basement is not well hygienic, and there are yellow stains on the toilet seat. I wiped it all again with alcohol. 3. The color of the bathrobe is a bit old, I don’t know if it was not washed clean or what.

The room is really large and very suitable for family travel, but the room is old, some facilities are aging and the floor is creaking, the hair dryer is old and serious, the waiter's professionalism is average, and the location of the room is wrong twice. This was the third hot spring hotel I stayed at this winter, and it was also my favorite. Even before checking in, Manager Tang called to inquire and offered a free room upgrade. Because we have an elderly person in a wheelchair who has difficulty going to the hillside golf course, he arranged for shuttle service, which we were very grateful for! The food in the Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and tidy. They even served warm milk to help us sleep at night – a very thoughtful touch. The swimming pool inside the hot spring was our favorite feature, and the outdoor infinity pool even cured my cold – a truly unexpected delight. In short, I'm deeply moved by the hard work of all the staff and will definitely come back. Thank you!

Traveling with kids, our last stop in the city led us to this hotel, chosen based on reviews. We stayed for two nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service, in particular, was very thoughtful; we had transfers arranged throughout our stay, and someone proactively offered water and guidance with a smile in the lobby. 1. **Transportation**: The hotel is about 1 kilometer from the subway, which isn't ideal, but they offer shuttle services if you book in advance. On the flip side, it's very close to many popular attractions. A taxi ride usually takes about ten minutes and costs around ten yuan. I found using Didi (ride-hailing app) to be very convenient. 2. **Ambiance**: The hotel environment is also quite nice, with its own small garden and a pool. There's also a children's play area on the ground floor, most of which is free. However, we didn't get to use any of it as we were too pressed for time and had too much sightseeing to do. Our room was generally neat and clean. Although the decor is a bit older, it still felt quite tasteful. We received complimentary fruit and drinks, which were a nice touch. My package included several other amenities like photography and sauna access, but we didn't use them either. 3. **Dining**: The hotel has its own restaurant, so you can dine there or order takeout. Do note that there's a service charge at the restaurant. Breakfast was pretty standard; I was hoping for some seafood options, given it's a coastal city, but there weren't any. 4. **Service**: The soundproofing in the rooms might not be the best, possibly due to the age of the building. Under normal circumstances, it would probably be fine. However, we had the misfortune of having a crying child next door who would wail for 30 minutes to an hour at 5:30 AM and 10:30 PM. We eventually complained to the front desk, and after the manager intervened, it quieted down. So, sometimes, travel experiences also depend on luck. 5. **Feedback**: On our way back, we received a follow-up call from the hotel. Overall, we were quite satisfied. The service, cleanliness, and responsiveness were all good. I hope to visit again during the off-season, when I anticipate better room availability, as it seemed almost fully booked this time. Also, the sea-view rooms are lovely, but unfortunately, it was foggy during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy much of the view – quite a shame!

This hotel, in my opinion, offers a thousand-dollar service experience for a hundred-dollar price range. Sam, the service manager, was excellent. I was originally booked for an Executive King Room, and this was the first time I've ever experienced such a seamless room upgrade. Most five-star or five-diamond hotels in Qingdao would rather leave a room empty or charge an extra 100 RMB than upgrade you. I stayed for three consecutive nights in an Executive Suite, directly facing the Laoshan District No. 2 Experimental Primary School. You can see students playing during the day, but with the windows closed, you barely hear any noise. The hotel is 12 years old now, since 2014, and aside from the bathtub faucet and shower diverter being a bit tricky to operate, it has almost no flaws. The air conditioning wasn't cold enough for me, given I'm sensitive to heat, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they offered a fan. This way, you don't need to open the window, which is good because there's ongoing construction on the left side, so opening the window would be noisy and affect sleep. The only potential downside for most people might be that it's a bit far from the subway, nearly a kilometer's walk.

The Mandarin Hotel is located on Starlight Island in the West Coast New Area, surrounded by the sea and boasting stunning island scenery. As soon as you arrive, you can feel a sense of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sea breeze creates a wonderful vacation vibe. However, there was an entertainment event on the island that day, so it was incredibly crowded. Stepping into the hotel lobby, the elegant and grand design perfectly blends with marine elements. The glass dome and crystal chandeliers complement each other beautifully. What impressed me most was the self-playing piano in the lobby; its melodious tunes flowed under the dome, adding an artistic touch to the entire space and instantly washing away any travel fatigue. My business twin room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic sea views. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by the magnificent sight of the sunrise over the ocean. The room was well-equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and every detail showcased quality. The hotel's amenities are excellent. The complimentary indoor pool has clear, well-maintained water and is a good size. It's very well-regulated; you need a swimming cap to use it, and there's also a sauna and hot spring. The gym is fully equipped, and in addition to exercise machines, there's a table tennis room and an aerobics room. The hotel garden is charming, with European-style stone carvings adding a unique flair. Just outside, there's a seaside boardwalk, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Parking and EV charging were very convenient, and the staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making my entire stay, from check-in to check-out, feel incredibly welcoming.

I had a very satisfying stay. What surprised me most was how close the hotel is to Qingdao North Station, which is incredibly convenient for guests traveling by high-speed rail. The lilies in the lobby were beautiful, and the front desk service was very warm and efficient. They responded quickly to any questions I had and even proactively upgraded my room. After check-in, the concierge voluntarily helped me with my luggage and registered my car plate. The room was very spacious with large floor-toceiling windows, making it very bright. The layout was well-designed, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plus a bathtub, which was just perfect. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. Looking out from the room, there's an artificial lake park, and the room itself was very quiet, so it was lovely to take a stroll in the morning or evening. The hotel breakfast was also quite good, with a wide variety of dishes and delicious flavors. The weather in Qingdao in the morning wasn't hot, so enjoying breakfast outdoors was very pleasant. I also visited the gym and the pool; the pool was large and the water was very clean – a great experience. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and the stay experience was superb. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel's overall environment is beautiful, clearly built with great care, showcasing a Southeast Asian style, much like the Raffles I stayed at in Sanya. However, the facility maintenance, service, and hygiene are far inferior. Let me start with the positives: the breakfast was good. Although the variety wasn't huge, the freshly made wontons and steamed dim sum were delicious, especially the fresh pork mini wontons 👍. Some staff members had excellent attitudes, proactively escorting elderly guests back to their rooms, which deserves praise. Now for the unacceptable drawbacks: 1. I booked a Deluxe Twin Room and was upgraded to an Executive Twin Room upon check-in. They didn't proactively mention that the minibar was chargeable. At checkout, I was charged 20 yuan for a Sprite and a packet of snacks. I truly don't understand this. I've stayed in many hotels, both luxury and budget, and executive rooms usually come with at least one complimentary minibar round. Here, it's not only not complimentary, but they also don't inform you beforehand, and there's no clear pricing in the room. It's really frustrating 😓. 2. We booked a twin room, and one of the bedsheets was torn. When we went to the restaurant for dinner, the tablecloth was also torn. My mom commented that the hotel was truly 'economical.' 3. On the first night, I called to request an extra duvet. They replied that they only had double duvets, not single ones. I mentioned I was staying for three nights and asked if they could change it if a single one became available. On the third day, hotel staff were chatting, saying the hotel had very few guests, only around 60 people. I called customer service again to ask for a single duvet, and they still said they didn't have one. I was speechless 😓. Overall, the environment is exceptionally good, but the internal management is underwhelming, and the facilities and service are severely lacking. If they continue to operate this way, it truly does a disservice to the hotel's prime location and beautiful scenery.

The hotel's location is unbeatable! I booked it for the Navy Day open house, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to the Olympic Sailing Center pier. The room was quite spacious, and I could even see the warships from my window. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard. The butler service was fantastic, very attentive and always ready to answer any questions. Overall, I'm very satisfied. P.S. Even the navy soldiers were staying at this hotel!

A perfect score! The experience from check-in to check-out was flawless. As a student attending the conference, the most important factors were transportation, internet speed, and a comfortable resting environment, all of which were impeccable.
