Booked an executive floor room, and they even upgraded us to a suite – the experience was fantastic! The executive lounge on the 28th floor offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the Olympic Sailing Center. The afternoon tea was excellent, not at all perfunctory, with a good variety of items, including sandwiches and cold dishes. Dinner was decent, and there was a wide selection of cocktails. My only complaint is that they stop replenishing dinner items early, and they start clearing up by 7:30 PM, which made the dinner experience not as good as the afternoon tea. Breakfast was abundant and served on the first floor. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay; the attention to detail was impressive, such as the great hairdryer and the pleasant scent of the toiletries. It's highly recommended for families!

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Qingdao while on a family road trip. It's an older five-star hotel that's been open for years, so the facilities feel a bit dated, but they're well-maintained. The guest rooms have an elegant, understated European retro style with plenty of stone and wrought iron decor, giving off a 'old money' vibe. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a spacious 60-square-meter suite. The layout was excellent with distinct zones, so there was plenty of room for the whole family without feeling cramped. At just over 600 yuan, it offered outstanding value for money. I especially want to praise the bedding – it was soft and breathable, making for a great night's sleep and effectively easing the fatigue from our long drive. The front desk staff were prompt with their service and very friendly towards children. The hotel is centrally located on Hong Kong Middle Road, with convenient parking for those driving, and easy access to the beach and shopping areas. It's truly ideal for family travel.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from MixC mall. It's a mere 3-5 minute walk to May Fourth Square and the seaside boardwalk. Olympic Sailing Center, Hisense Plaza, and the Third Bathing Beach are all just a 10-minute taxi ride away. The subway station is right outside, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I loved the Westin Heavenly Bed, the spacious room, the White Tea scented toiletries, and the well-designed bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. I was extremely satisfied with my stay during this Qingdao trip! 👍

Facilities: Absolutely five-star hotel facilities, and the hardware is well-maintained. The front desk gave me a connecting room, which was very convenient for taking care of my elderly parents. Much appreciated. The swimming pool is definitely a highlight, with both hot and cold plunge pools in the changing rooms. Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff cleaned daily and replenished drinking water promptly. Environment: The lobby environment is excellent, elegant and grand, and prices are reasonable. Location: Situated on Hong Kong Middle Road, Qingdao's most bustling CBD. It's within walking distance to May Fourth Square, and a small door from the lobby leads directly to MixC Mall. Extremely convenient. Breakfast: A wide variety of options; my favorite was the smoked salmon. However, it gets quite crowded during peak hours, and the seating arrangements are a bit too cramped. Not enough space. Overall, my three-day stay was a great experience. It's the most cost-effective five-star hotel on Hong Kong Middle Road.

A big thank you to Jennifer Han, the Guest Relations Manager, for meticulously helping me resolve issues during my stay. Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent, and all the staff in the lobby were incredibly warm and friendly. They even offered a welcome drink (personally, I found the lemon tea to be more delicious!). Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service is truly exceptional. The housekeeping staff were also very considerate. Thanks again to Jennifer Han for making me feel right at home. I look forward to returning once the AC building has been renovated.

Our stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The hotel itself looks absolutely amazing, it truly feels like staying in a castle, both from the outside and inside. Our room had a beautiful sea view, which created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, and the café with its balcony overlooking the sea was a wonderful place to enjoy coffee. The food at the café was also very good. One of the highlights of our stay was the concierge service. The concierge was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. He assisted us many times with our deliveries and always made a great impression. Most of the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming as well. The hotel’s location, away from the city center, is actually a big advantage for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The beach is not crowded, and the swimming pool is usually peaceful and not busy. However, there are some areas where the hotel could improve. The room cleaning service needs more attention. It wasn't good at all. Some cups at breakfast were also dirty or cracked. The service at the café could be improved as well. When we came to order afternoon tea at around 5 PM, one of the young staff members seemed unhappy and impatient because it was close to the end of his working day. After making a short call, we were told that the kitchen was not answering and that they were no longer working. This experience did not feel very welcoming. Though I understand he really wanted to leave work asap, he could share it with his coworker after we left, not in front of us 🤣 The hotel also has a Japanese restaurant, but the staff could not provide clear information about its opening days or availability. We were told it might be open on Thursday and Friday, but it was not certain. Another concern is the small zoo area. animals appeared to be staying outside in the heat all day. In particular, there was a dog kept in a cage outside during very hot weather (around 35°C), which was concerning and seemed unsuitable for the animal’s comfort.. The beach near the hotel was unfortunately quite dirty, which is something that could be improved. Regarding the swimming pools, the indoor pool felt quite cold, especially with the air conditioning, making it difficult to enjoy with a child when the outdoor weather is too hot. The outdoor pool area also has limited comfortable seating. There are only a few lounge chairs, and adding soft cushions or mats would greatly improve the experience and make the area more relaxing. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, views, and peaceful location. The hotel has great potential, and with some improvements in service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, it could become an even better experience for guests.

I've stayed at this hotel before. This time, I booked a newly renovated room, and they've even added an elevator to the renovated building. The hotel's location is excellent; you just cross the road to reach the beach, and it's near the scenic area. The room was clean, and all the amenities were complete. It offers great value for money. The only downside is that there's only one charging pile at the hotel, so there's always a queue to charge. I'd recommend the hotel add a few more charging stations.

Absolutely loved the Junlan hotel in the ancient town! The decor is incredibly stylish and blends perfectly with the town's atmosphere. From the moment we came up from the underground parking, we could feel the hotel's unique vibe. I really enjoyed the overall design; every corner was picture-perfect. We booked a room with a courtyard, and it was so comfortable. Even though the courtyard walls were high, providing great privacy, it didn't block the sunlight at all, and the kids had a fantastic time playing there! This was definitely the highlight of our Jimo trip.

If I ever visit Qingdao again or recommend it to friends, the Hyatt Regency Qingdao will definitely be my first choice. It was a fantastic experience and I felt it was very much worth it. The location is superb; it's right across the road from the Third Bathing Beach and within walking distance of May Fourth Square. A stroll in the evening to see the light show is absolutely amazing. It shares a lobby with the St. Regis, but at half the price. The service was excellent. I especially want to commend the lovely Lora. She not only helped us get an upgraded room but also arranged a late check-out, which was an added bonus! The room itself was great too, with complete and clean facilities. Breakfast is on the 3rd floor, and there's a wide variety of items.

The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, definitely worth the price of the room. Minor cons: The facilities showed some signs of wear and tear, and there weren't enough power outlets near the sink. Overall, the value for money is decent. Thanks to the attentive front desk service, I would prioritize staying here again on my next trip to Huangdao.

The female staff members I encountered at this hotel were all wonderful. When I booked a tent, I was told the beach would be shady in the afternoon, but I actually needed the tent more in the morning. They were very helpful and changed my reservation to the morning. When checking in, they noticed I had a small baby and proactively asked if I could wait a few hours to get a room upgrade to a sea-view room. Since I was going to Mount Laoshan that day, I checked in in the evening and was upgraded directly to a sea-view room. Many thanks to the front desk staff who checked me in and the staff who helped me book the tent. The room was also cleaned very well every day.

During my summer vacation, I stayed at the St. Regis Qingdao, an international five-star hotel. **Location:** Situated in the city center, near Yan'an 3rd Road subway station. It's just one stop by subway to May Fourth Square, and within 4-5 subway stops to Qingdao Station and Zhongshan Road Church. The coastline is directly across the street, perfect for a seaside stroll. **Amenities & Facilities:** The hotel is newly opened, and the facilities are meticulously maintained. It's surrounded by Qingdao's CBD office buildings, attracting many business travelers. The room's overall decor is a luxurious and grand European modern style, making it currently the most upscale hotel in Qingdao. **Cleanliness:** Both the hotel's public areas and guest rooms are very well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The air carries the distinctive, pleasant fragrance unique to St. Regis hotels. **Dining:** The breakfast selection is exquisite and diverse, featuring many Qingdao specialties like freshly made pan-fried dumplings (guotie), steamed buns, fresh mackerel dumplings, and sea cucumber noodles. The dishes are very refined, making breakfast a memorable experience. It's the best breakfast offering among St. Regis hotels in China, even surpassing the flagship St. Regis Qianhai. The Qingdao F&B department has truly put in the effort here. **Room:** The overall design and the sea view from the window make you want to linger. The unique artwork on the room's mugs is beautiful, and the heated towel rack in the bathroom is a distinctive and thoughtful touch, making for a truly impressive experience. **Service:** The staff are warm and courteous, making you feel right at home. The hotel even added me on WeChat to help arrange a latex pillow. Special mention goes to our dedicated butler, Beryl, who called in advance to welcome us and then helped arrange a bubble bath and hot drinks after check-in – truly thoughtful and attentive service. **Summary:** Located in Qingdao's city center with convenient transportation, proactive service, excellent food, and unique design, this hotel deserves its top spot in Qingdao. It's the top choice for anyone visiting Qingdao who desires a luxury hotel stay.

Wow 🤩 what a fantastic hotel and the perfect location when staying in Qingdao. First of course breakfast as that is the most important (at least for me 😉) and this hotel knows how to make it special. Besides the great food, staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and if you don’t want to go out, moon cafe has a drink for everyone’s taste. Everything is clean and just cross the street and there is the sea 🌊 and with a view like that (see the photos) you never want to leave. Highly recommend!

A few years ago, I came to eat with my friends in winter, and only noticed this garden-like hotel. This year, I took the children and the elderly to make a soup again. This was the third hot spring hotel I stayed at this winter, and it was also my favorite. Even before checking in, Manager Tang called to inquire and offered a free room upgrade. Because we have an elderly person in a wheelchair who has difficulty going to the hillside golf course, he arranged for shuttle service, which we were very grateful for! The food in the Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and tidy. They even served warm milk to help us sleep at night – a very thoughtful touch. The swimming pool inside the hot spring was our favorite feature, and the outdoor infinity pool even cured my cold – a truly unexpected delight. In short, I'm deeply moved by the hard work of all the staff and will definitely come back. Thank you!

Whenever I visit Qingdao, I always choose the Seaview Garden Hotel, and I'm consistently satisfied. During peak season in Qingdao, especially summer, you might encounter delays with check-in. A few days ago, the front desk at the Mangrove Tree Resort simply brushed it off, saying 'that's just how it is during peak season.' Here, however, the front desk staff apologized repeatedly while continuously working to sort things out, and the final outcome was still satisfying. Although the hotel is a bit older and its facilities might not be as high-tech as newer hotels, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. This stay, I noticed some of the room furniture had been updated. The basement floor has play facilities for children of all ages, along with a projection room, DIY workshops, and more. The outdoor swimming pool is a saltwater pool. The hotel is also right across the street from the beach; while you can't swim there, you can go clamming during low tide. Kids can have a great time just staying at the hotel. The staff's service attitude is outstanding. Besides daily fruit and mini-bar drinks, they also provide small dolls and calcium milk biscuits for children. Since we drove, the staff even cleaned our car spotless every day. This was the hotel I was most looking forward to on this trip. I booked it because it was a 5-star resort, hoping to relax with my parents. However, when we drove up to the entrance, there was no one to help with luggage or direct us to parking. The entrance was completely empty. I thought everyone was busy, but once inside the lobby, I saw plenty of staff, yet no one came forward to assist us. This is unheard of in any 5-star hotel I've stayed at. After we went in, my dad asked where the charging stations in the parking lot were, and if they were fast or slow chargers. The staff member couldn't answer any of his questions, saying they'd have to go ask. In the end, we had no choice but to follow the signs and find the parking ourselves. On the bright side, the two rooms we booked could be connected by opening a door to form a single suite, which was a nice experience. Actually, when you approached the staff for something, their attitude was good, but it felt like there were some management issues. For example, after checking out, my mother realized she had left something in the room's refrigerator. I immediately called the front desk, explaining we were driving back to get it and asking if someone could collect the item and leave it at the concierge. The front desk confirmed it was no problem. After driving back to the hotel for about 20 minutes, my mother inquired at the concierge, but the concierge staff had no idea about it. They had to go ask the front desk, and only after getting a confirmation did they go up to the room to retrieve the item. We then waited at the hotel for almost 20 to 30 minutes, which was a very poor experience. Overall, the environment and cleanliness were excellent. The location is in Qingdao's new district, and the surrounding area, plus the sea view terrace, added a lot of points. However, the initial bad experience significantly lowered our overall impression. I hope they can make more improvements. Being able to see the sunrise and sunset over the sea from the room was something I really loved! The breakfast selection was comprehensive and delicious.
