Everyone was friendly..Staff were helpful and polite..They greeted you everytime they see you..Some even offered to assist you even though if you didn’t ask.Service was simply perfect,no complains! Gym and pool were under maintenance.Construction was going on at the main hotel.Wasn’t aware of the maintenance till you checked in (Maintenance Notice placed on room table).Maybe updates should be reflected on third party apps or via whatsapp to avoid disappointment. Wifi was poor.For a well rated hotel,this was a huge letdown.Management & maintenance should look into this.Was staying at room 806.Not sure if other floors or rooms are encountering this problem.Ended up using data roaming through my 3 days there.

On my frequent business trips to Semarang, I always stay at the PO Hotel, which is conveniently located next to Paragon Mall. It's a 5-star hotel in the city center, offering a nice staycation experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and for dinner, I just walk to PG Mall through the connected doorway. The breakfast menu is also comprehensive and delicious. My suggestion for PO Hotel would be to upgrade the TVs to smart TVs and add more local channels, specifically Anteve and Indosiar, if possible.

The breakfast here is truly the best – when you're in Semarang, you really don't need to go searching for food, everything is available at breakfast, it's perfect! ❤️❤️ It's absolutely the best! The service and hospitality are top-notch. We even requested decorations for Father's Day, and they helped decorate the room so beautifully and wonderfully. ❤️ All the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the room is incredibly comfortable, no doubt about it.

love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices. all is excellent.

got room 717 corner, as soon as I entered the room the room was already cold because there was an access card attached to the wall, until the evening the central AC was still very cold even though the fan speed was already 1 the temperature had been turned up to 30 degrees and the mode = fan (not cooling) the hotel location is strategic, near Alfamart, near Bu Marie's empal rice, there are 2 Javanese fried rice sellers, tahu gimbal, chicken satay, steak stalls. suggestion if possible the children's pool is given a slide or a tipping bucket like water land for children's entertainment

The good thing about this hotel is their Housekeeping and Front Office staf are honest. When my nephew left his e-toll card in the room, the hotel staff kept it, and when we get back to this hotel, we ask for the e-toll card and they handed it back to us. But the food in the breakfast is awful. The toilet bowl is dirty. I don't think I will come and stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are big, the mattresses are soft, and the facilities are very good for families, there is a children's playground and a swimming pool. I personally don't like the parking location because it's quite narrow and initially quite confusing. I also dislike the breakfast because the food options are very few. maybe for the next order I will not include breakfast. Very good and strategic location.

Overall service was okay, the room was okay, BUT... I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The AC in the room was warm/hot. Maybe because I was out most of the time, it didn't bother me much. But it was annoying at night and in the morning when it was hot. The shower in the bathroom was moldy, and the sink was also moldy.
