Very nice and newly refurbished hotel just across Malioboro and Tugu Station. The room is very comfortable with nice bed and amenities. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is super yummy and has wide variety. Dinner is yummy. Gelato is very nice. Gym and pool are brand new. The free photo session produces many nice photos for my personally, love it. There is only a bit of problem with smoke smell and the staffs come to check and give complimentary gift. Very well thought. Will come back again for sure.

Hotel Neo Malioboro was the perfect hotel to rest at. The service was fast and the staff were very polite. The location of the hotel was ideal for solo backpackers to head around and it is also near the Yogyakarta Stasion if one needs to travel in/out of Yogyakarta. Food for the breakfast buffet was delicious, and offered a variety of dishes to enjoy. Overall, it was the perfect place to stay, and I would come back again, and recommend it to others.

The hotel's facilities felt a bit dated, giving off the impression of a once-luxury hotel from a bygone era. It's not bad, but you can't deny it has a rather classic, perhaps even old-fashioned, vibe. However, there were no major issues. As for location, from Yogyakarta Station, considering one-way streets and traffic, it's about a 30-minute Grab ride. Going to Yogyakarta Station, it's roughly a 15-minute ride. There's also a small mall within a few minutes' walk, so you won't be inconvenienced.

Everything was good until at night a family with a small child checked in to next room of ours.  They were talking lound and making noises very much. We realized how thin the wall between us was, as we could hear their conversation very clearly.   Other than that, we liked the town view from the room and  all were good.

My stay at Hotel FortunaGrande Malioboro Yogyakarta by FOSIA was one of the highlights of my trip to Yogyakarta. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its strategic location. It is within walking distance of Malioboro Street, Malioboro Mall, local restaurants, souvenir shops, and Yogyakarta Train Station, making it extremely convenient for tourists who want to explore the city without relying heavily on transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh every day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing despite being located in one of the busiest areas of Yogyakarta. One of my favorite facilities was the rooftop area and swimming pool. The rooftop offers a beautiful view of the city, especially during sunset. It was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of sightseeing. The hotel also provides a restaurant, spa services, and friendly common areas that make the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of Indonesian and international dishes. Everything was fresh and regularly replenished. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations about local attractions and transportation. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money thanks to its prime location, comfortable rooms, great facilities, and warm hospitality. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Yogyakarta and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient stay near Malioboro. Everything was really perfect, thank you so much Hotel Fortuna Grande Malioboro for making this trip memorable and enjoyable.

Thank you for preparing a great room and a complete welcome snack. Please excuse a few things that made our stay less comfortable: 1. The pool filter was only on for 8 hours a day, making the pool water cold and murky. 2. Room cleaning was requested for a maximum of 12 PM. After that, until 3 PM, they could only empty the trash and change towels. 3. It might be a good idea to add a shower curtain in the bathroom. We felt quite exposed, especially since there's a school building under construction nearby. During the day, we could see the workers installing the roof frame. 4. The round window in the room certainly adds to the aesthetics. However, since the bed faces east, it was extremely glaring in the morning. This meant we had to wake up early even on vacation. 5. The wooden bed frame creaked, and the middle part of the bedspring was sagging. Otherwise, the facilities were complete, Netflix worked, the long pool was great for swimming, and there were free donut-shaped floats.

The hotel was clean and comfortable though the mirror was a little dirty when we came in. The location was perfect and convenient as it was near the train station, Sauton palace and right in front of Malioboro street, mall, and plaza. Their service was friendly but they didn't refill the hand soap, shampoo, or coffee until we asked. One day they also forgot to give us a towel so we had to ask them to come and give it to us. Their facilities were good for the most part, apart from the toilet that had no door, the sliding doors that nearly jammed our fingers, and the shower that was rather slippery. Overall the hotel was quite nice, but could do with a few improvements. I recommend it for a convenient stay.

This hotel got everything you are looking for, for a really affordable price! Super friendly staff, nice breakfast, little gym and pool and more. The rooms and reception area are super clean and modern. They showed every World Cup game live on a big LED screen, no matter what time it was. Didn’t use it but they also offer a variety of food and drinks for room service. The location is also top tier, being very close to the main train station, tugu jogja and the famous Malioboro street. I recommend a stay here and will definitely come back the next time I am visiting Jogja!

This hotel is my top recommendation for anyone visiting Yogyakarta! Booking in advance got us a great discount. The location is excellent, right across from the train station, and it's a short walk to the bustling Malioboro Street. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was super cold. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The water dispensers in the hallway, offering both hot and cold water, all worked perfectly – a big plus! We stayed for several days and honestly didn't want to switch hotels, worried we might end up somewhere bad. As for the downsides, the soundproofing isn't the best. You can clearly hear the mosque's broadcasts starting early in the morning. However, this is quite typical in Indonesia, and personally, I'm fine with it. But if you're someone who gets bothered by early morning disturbances, then it might be an issue. Also, in some rooms, the shower door doesn't close completely, so water can spray out. These are minor drawbacks though, and for this price, there's really nothing to complain about. It's much better than many hotels I've stayed in Taiwan!

So far so good for a 4-star standard. The biggest downside is the really cramped parking lot, but they do offer valet parking. The facilities are a bit dated but well-maintained. The sink was a bit clogged and the water pressure was low. However, the hotel smells nice and is clean. The best part is the location, right in the middle of Malioboro. Breakfast was decent, but I can't give it 5 stars as it was pretty standard.

In the heart of Jogjakarta. Short distance to Keraton, Alun alun, Taman Sari, Malioboro by car (within 10-15 minutes depands on traffic). If u want to have trip to Kasongan, Ganjuran area, this a good place to stay (within 30 minutes by car). For culliners trip, there are so many tasty n good restaurant within walking distance. Had tried many of them 🤣. Athough the hotel not a big one such 4-5 stars hotels but it's comfortable enough and there is rooftop swimming pool too. One of my choice hotels while go to Jogja. Sorry, I dont take many picture when I stay here.

I can't believe I got such an affordable price at Top Malioboro! The location is strategic, right next to BW souvenir shop, an Alfamidi, and close to a hospital. In the mornings, there's a gudeg seller out front, and later in the day, you can find Sop Iga and Lotek, so you definitely won't have to worry about food. The service is great, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. It's close to Tugu Station and Malioboro. You can even go for a jog in the morning, and with government offices nearby, it's an incredibly strategic spot.

The swimming pool is quite spacious, but the towel pickup/return area is a bit inconvenient as it's far from the rooms. There were no lifeguards or attendants at the pool, and although the sunbeds don't have parasols, the sun didn't feel too strong.
