The room felt a bit unsettling with the portrait hanging on the wall, especially since the lighting is quite dim. It would be more comfortable to have a mirror, which would be very useful when drying hair, or maybe having an extra power socket in the bathroom area would be convenient.
Toilet Amenities:
The toothbrush provided was quite hard, and the shampoo didn’t feel like it effectively cleansed my hair…no lotion is provided in the room. Perhaps these can be improved for better guest comfort.
Spa/Wellness/Gym:
10/10 — Absolutely excellent and CLEAN!!!
Restaurant:
10/10 — The food was great, especially the baguettes — they were delicious!!!

The room was amazing, clean and big. The reception staff was brilliant. How ever we ran into a problem with one member of staff who was rude ( gave us dirty looks ) after we complained about our food order been wrong. We sent the same meal back 5 times after it was wrong. This was not a language barrier either because we translated it for said person. We told the manager who never got back to us. Very good room, clean and got nice amenities. There is a rooftop smoking area on the 7th Floor that is 24/7, if you want easy access then be sure to ask to stay on the 7th floor. There's free lemon water downstairs in the lobby. Breakfast is quite decent, they make you a few different noodles as well as your standard breakfast buffet. There is a deposit of $100 USD required and they prefer cash as paying with card can take 1-30 days to return the money. There is some temporary parking out front so getting transport is quite easy, as well as getting food delivered. This place isn't marked on Grab so you'll need to be quite precise with the location for delivery, as well as providing a picture of outside of the hotel for your Grab delivery address. The room itself has automatic curtains, multi-styled plugs for international travelers, good lighting so you can sleep with the right amount of lights on if you want to. Hotel staff is confirmed to be 24/7 at reception, they'll always be someone there and they speak quite good English. Around the corner is a small local convenience store for buying extra water or local cigarettes. Down the road a bit is a 24/7 ABA Bank ATM that withdraws only in USD in amounts of 100USD bills so getting deposit for this place isn't that hard. However because the ATM does only 100USD bills, breaking this note at local shops is quite difficult.Dari£26

On this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda.
A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold.
Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife.
Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that!
Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient.
Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me.
Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK.

One of the only good things about this hotel is its great location. We booked a room with a window ( for an extra fee). Upon check-in we were informed that there is no room with a window available and that if we don't like the room we can request a room change. The receptionist offered no apology as if it is normal to get a room without a window even if you have paid for it. Since we arrived at 8pm we had no option but to accept it. No compensation in any form was offered. The next morning we requested a room change because the room stank of sewage. It was one of the worst rooms I had stayed in my life. The room was dirty and smelly, the walls looked as if they hadn't been painted for a decade and the furniture and bed were in need of renovation.
