Cambodia Arrival Card: Requirements & How to Fill

Gambar Profil Penulis

🌏 Planning a trip to Cambodia? Whether you're dreaming of sunrise at Angkor Wat 🌅 or exploring the bustling streets of Phnom Penh 🛺, there's one essential thing to prepare before you land — your Cambodia Arrival Card.
I recently visited Siem Reap, and trust me, having everything sorted ahead of time made immigration a breeze. Here’s your complete guide to help fellow Malaysians travel smoother.👇

📄 What’s the Cambodia Arrival Card?

source from https://camboticket.com/

The Cambodia Arrival Card is a short immigration and customs declaration form required for all foreign travellers (including Malaysians 🇲🇾) entering the country. It collects basic travel, identity, and customs information.

🔍 In simple terms, it’s a paper form that:

  • Records your personal and passport details
  • Declares your travel purpose and stay info
  • Asks if you're carrying items like food, cash, or restricted goods

✅ This form is usually handed out during your flight, and submitted to immigration officers upon arrival.

🛃 Why Is It Important?

Filling out the Cambodia Arrival Card helps:

  • ✅ Ensure smooth processing at immigration
  • ✈️ Declare any goods, currency, or restricted items
  • 📉 Avoid unnecessary delays or penalties
  • 🛂 Provide contact and address details for your stay

📜 Cambodia also uses the card to register travellers for border control and biosecurity purposes.

🧾 Is the Arrival Card a Visa?

Nope.
The Cambodia Arrival Card is not a visa. It’s a separate immigration document required in addition to your visa.

🎟️ Malaysians enjoy visa-free entry to Cambodia for stays of up to 30 days for tourism.
But even if you don’t need a visa, you must still complete the arrival card at the border or airport.

👥 Who Needs to Fill In the Arrival Card?

If you’re a Malaysian passport holder flying into Cambodia, you’ll need to fill in the arrival card — whether you:

  • Are visiting for tourism or business
  • Enter via Phnom Penh (PNH), Siem Reap (REP), or Sihanoukville (KOS) airports
  • Are travelling visa-free

🧒 Children can be included on their parent or guardian’s card.

Undoubtedly a perfect score! 💯 This is a fantastic hotel with impeccable service, an excellent location, and absolutely stunning architecture. I believe the hotel was built upon an existing old structure, and the style is simply breathtaking. Especially at night 🌃, it has a super cool vibe – my photos honestly don't do it justice. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and had everything perfectly arranged. When I arrived in the middle of the night and saw two other groups checking in, I knew I had made the right hotel choice. The hotel is situated near the Royal Palace and close to the National Museum, placing it right in the heart of the main tourist area. Most attractions are within walking distance, making it the perfect choice for travelers. I *must* mention the breakfast here; it's incredibly high quality, almost perfect. They truly understand guest needs and provide a high standard of options. A simple example is the yogurt: they don't offer generic supermarket products but instead provide homemade, unsweetened yogurt. To cater to different tastes, you have choices like plain, with passion fruit, or with diced mango. They emphasize fresh, high-quality ingredients, a comfortable and beautiful dining environment, a rich selection of low-sugar options, mild flavors, and attentive service. You definitely need to try it. Special thanks to the front desk and the restaurant. Because we had to catch a very early flight, they specially prepared convenient packed meals for us upon request, which we picked up at the front desk at 5:30 AM. That was fantastic! This is the best hotel choice in Phnom Penh.

What a tressure . After the renovation in 2022, Raffles keep the historic charme of the building and the rooms, the retaurants and of course the iconic elephant bar. The staff in each part of the hotel been friendly and a very charming way. Its a fully pleasure to stay here on this quiet place in the middle of then town. I stayed 3 nights and its been great every moment. Looking forward to come back.

I got a free upgrade to their deluxe studio which is great. The room is big and clean and equipped with the washing machine (wash and dry) with a full fetched fridge and a dry pantry to cook if required. International socket in the room so you don have to bring along the travel adapter. The customer service was really good especially Peter the front desk manager. He has been accommodating to our request for late check out and ensure our well being during the stay. Highly recommend this hotel if you are a business traveller. Things to improve on: - the water pressure in the toilet for the shower head - the 3 pin plugs to be made accessible in parallel with the desk in the room (currently below the desk)

Every time I visit Phnom Penh, I stay at this hotel. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The pool and gym are clean. The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the parking security guards are amiable. The foot massage parlor on the first floor of the hotel is also really nice! Plus, there are so many mango trees in the garden outside. It's also very close to the Royal Palace, less than 200 units away.

This hotel is pretty good, and it seems like a lot of Chinese travelers stay here. The front desk staff are also nice and some even speak a bit of Chinese, so check-in and check-out were smooth. Just a heads up, remember to prepare a $100 cash deposit. Also, a quick reminder: even if you don't eat durian, don't bring it into the room, as it can leave a lingering smell. Overall, the room is good and quite spacious. I'd definitely go back.

The location is lovely and as you arrive there’s a real wow feeling.  The service is excellent and the whole team are delightful. The pool was beautiful and the gardens were really lovely.  It was really quiet when we were there so the restaurant was often empty besides us which  felt a bit strange. The food was fine but could have been hotter, it felt that presentation took priority over heat. The prices in the restaurant seemed quite high. I love the idea that this place is eco friendly however if guests are expected to top up water bottles the water stations should be clean and inviting. The gym was a bit scruffy and not inviting but then I wasn’t there for that!  The place is relatively new however there were definite signs of the rooms being tired  but I think if cleaned more would make the place look spectacular - which I guess is the desired effect. Eg. Our courtyard was very scruffy and not welcoming. The TV wasn’t working and the windows in the apartment desperately needed cleaning.  Some little touches and attention to detail would bring this back to the 5* glory that it should be.  Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope that the management team take my comments on board because I think it could be fabulous.

The room was amazing, clean and big. The reception staff was brilliant. How ever we ran into a problem with one member of staff who was rude ( gave us dirty looks ) after we complained about our food order been wrong. We sent the same meal back 5 times after it was wrong. This was not a language barrier either because we translated it for said person. We told the manager who never got back to us. Other than that problem, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The hotel lobby is very nicely decorated, the room was of medium size but with a great view of the river. Shower and bathtub in the bathroom, but be careful it’s slippery when wet. Staff was very friendly. Free drinks in the evening on the top floor with great 360 views of the city. Pool and exercize room on the top floor too. Overalll a great value for the money.

I booked this hotel because it's only a 5-minute walk to where I needed to go. It's a very Chinese-style business hotel. The front desk staff speak Chinese, and most of the meals are Chinese cuisine. The room layout is similar to that of a Ji Hotel. They offer laundry service and late-night snacks, and most of the guests are Chinese. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Central Market and Canadia Tower, truly in the city center. Unfortunately, the building next door is undergoing renovations, so the drilling noise was quite loud. Also, the hotel faces the street, so there's some traffic noise. Light sleepers might want to reconsider.

The service was great, and you could order all three meals to be delivered to your room. Most of the staff spoke everyday English. The rooftop restaurant is a good spot for an evening meal. The drink prices were lower than typical restaurants, less than double market price, which was pretty reasonable.

If you are looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly place to crash in the absolute heart of Bangkok’s action, City Lodge Bangkok (specifically the popular one located at Sukhumvit Soi 9) is a solid contender. Here is an honest breakdown of what to expect if you book a stay. 📍 The Standout Feature: Location & Connectivity The absolute best thing about City Lodge is its location. It sits right at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 9, literally steps away from the Nana BTS Skytrain station (about a 10-foot walk from the steps). The Good: You can jump on the Skytrain and be anywhere in Bangkok within minutes. It is a 15-minute walk to the Sukhumvit MRT (subway) and the Terminal 21 shopping mall. Restaurants, street food, massage parlors, and convenience stores are right outside your doorstep. The Bad: It is located directly next to Sukhumvit Soi 11 and Nana Plaza, meaning it is in the absolute epicenter of Bangkok's chaotic nightlife.

This is a great hotel. There is limited car parking, but it did not seem to be a problem. The staff were good. I had an issue with a water leak in the room. The location is good, but the entire floor and our room smells like cigarettes even though non-smoking sign is hanging on the wall . We also found some cigarettes butts and some trash under the bed. I see the building has so much potential. Would be nice if you focus more on cleanliness and be more strict with the smokers. Thank you.

On this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda. A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold. Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife. Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that! Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient. Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me. Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK. Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.

We were fortunate enough to stay here last year and had the pleasure of returning again this year. The experience was just as wonderful as we remembered. Whether it was the room, the facilities, or the breakfast, everything was truly excellent. This hotel offers outstanding value for money, probably one of the best options in Phnom Penh for around $70 per night. The rooms are very spacious and modern, featuring a beautiful terrace and tasteful decor. The pool area is extraordinary, with plenty of spaces to sit back and relax. The breakfast is also exactly what you would expect from this type of hotel. This place was a real favorite for us in Phnom Penh, and we will gladly return whenever we are back in the city

I arrived at this hotel around 12 noon. The reception staff welcomed me kindly. There were a few other people waiting in the lobby at the same time. They told us that the rooms were not ready yet and that check-in time was at 2 PM. I said okay and started waiting, but since I thought it might take a while, I decided to go for a walk. I explored the nearby streets, went into a market, did some shopping, and spent some time outside. When I returned to the hotel around a little after 1 PM, I noticed that the people who had been waiting earlier were gone—so I assume their rooms had been given. The receptionist told me that my room was also ready. Then a staff member accompanied me to my room, which was on the 5th floor. The elevator in this hotel only goes up to the 4th floor, so you have to take the stairs up one more level to reach the 5th floor. The room itself was quite spacious. The Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. However, the TV did not seem to have smart features—there was no internet connection or anything like that. It was supposed to show regular channels, but due to poor antenna reception, it barely showed anything. The channels were full of static and not watchable, so the TV was essentially unusable. The air conditioner was working, but I think the gas might have been low, because the cooling was quite weak. Still, it was enough for me. There is a safe box in the room, but it seemed to have been locked previously and could only be used with a key. I couldn’t use it with a digital code. There is also a minibar with various drinks, but I didn’t use it. I only used the fridge to store items I bought myself. I think having a fridge is quite important in hot countries like this—it’s definitely useful. Hot water was available without any problems. One of the best things about this hotel is its location—it’s within walking distance to tourist areas and central entertainment spots. Other than that, I didn’t notice any particularly special features. The building itself is quite old, and I could see that it’s somewhat worn out. Still, it’s fine for a few days’ stay. But if you are expecting something luxurious, you should probably look for another hotel. For breakfast, there is a set menu. During my three-day stay, I had the same set menu every day. It was pretty standard, nothing special. There is also a restaurant at the entrance where you can order meals, but I didn’t try it—I only had breakfast there. That’s pretty much my experience. If you ask whether I would stay here again, I’d say it’s not bad, but you might be able to find a better place for the same price if you look around. The price was around the market average—not too expensive, not cheap either. Maybe you can find something better for the same price, but I’m not sure. These are my thoughts about the hotel. Have a great holiday everyone!

The king-size room near the corner was quite quiet, and the mosquito net was great for blocking wind and keeping mosquitoes out. The facilities are a bit old, and there are no USB charging ports. The hotel isn't very big, and it's now quite a distance from the new airport. The service was pretty good; all the front desk staff speak Chinese. The restaurant serves congee and noodles, and there's fresh fruit every day.
