If you think Singapore Zoo is just a place to look at animals, take a few photos, and walk one round then done… honestly, you’re wrong 😄 It will totally change your expectations.

The biggest thing that makes Singapore Zoo special is its open-concept design. Once you step inside, you don’t really get that “animals are locked up in cages” feeling. Instead, it feels more like you’re stepping into their natural habitat, where you can observe how they actually live up close. Another thing I really like is how well the whole park is organized. The areas are clearly divided, so even if it’s your first time here, you won’t get lost easily 😂 Everything feels very well-planned and easy to walk around.

Also, what impressed me the most is how clean and well-maintained the whole place is ✅ The walkways are wide, the environment is super tidy, and there are lots of trees and greenery everywhere. Even though the weather in Singapore can be quite hot, walking around here doesn’t feel too tiring.

So whether you’re bringing kids to learn about animals, going for a chill family walk, or you just love nature and wildlife, Singapore Zoo is definitely worth spending half a day to a full day exploring 🦁

The pictures online were a bit misleading. When I booked for 3 people with 3 breakfasts, it showed a king-size bed with a sofa bed, but upon arrival, there was only one king-size bed. It was quite a squeeze for three of us. When we tried to communicate with the hotel, there was a Chinese-speaking woman who refused to speak Chinese, which was frustrating. We had to contact Trip.com customer service, who said there were no other rooms available. We then tried to communicate with the hotel again to ask for a sofa bed. The hotel said they would charge for it, and it worked out to be over 500 RMB per day, which for 6 days felt unreasonable. In the end, we reluctantly squeezed into one bed. Although we managed to sleep, it wasn't comfortable, and the bed was extremely soft, leaving us feeling tired. The hotel facilities are relatively new, and the room is quite large, especially the bathroom. The shower pressure was excellent, but the water flow from the sink was a bit weak – a suggestion for improvement. The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from MRT Exit 4, but getting into the station itself takes another 7 minutes or so. We used the subway for all our outings, and it was quite convenient. The hotel breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was enough to fill up on if you took your time. The omelets were delicious and made fresh. Fruits and vegetables are very expensive in Singapore supermarkets, so we tried to make the most of breakfast at the hotel, where we could enjoy plenty of fruits, vegetables, and salads. Of course, if you want to eat out, it's also very convenient. There's a Great Wall shopping mall about a 10-minute walk away with many dining options. The hotel is right next to the Singapore River. You can walk through the hotel to get to the river and then stroll along it in the evening towards Merlion Park. Along the way, you'll pass two popular Jumbo Seafood restaurants, which are delicious but quite expensive and always packed with people. There are also many other dining establishments along the way, and the night view is beautiful. Hotel prices fluctuate a lot, so keep a close eye on them, even if you've locked in a rate, it can change. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to Changi Airport by MRT. Overall, it's a decent hotel. There are a lot of foreigners staying here, and I saw many adorable foreign children. If you're looking for a spacious, modernly decorated hotel, this could be a good choice.

First time visit to Singapore. Lovely hotel. Great location, bonus of an outdoor pool that we used early one morning. Rooms very clean, beds super comfy. Immaculately clean. All staff super friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. Concierge’s always available to sort taxis and help too. Didn’t book breakfast as do many food options close by. Nice touch was at check in they brought out birthday muffins, not just for me but for my two teenagers too. Great introduction.What’s not to love? Will be back.

My stay at Marina Bay Sands Singapore was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it! The hotel's location is excellent, directly connected to a mall, and within walking distance of famous attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Merlion Park, making getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional, providing attentive service throughout, truly reflecting a five-star hotel experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern design and immaculate cleanliness. The bed was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable night's sleep. What truly impressed me most was the room's view – whether it was the city skyline or the Marina Bay night view, both were absolutely stunning. The hotel's infinity pool definitely lives up to its reputation; the views are unforgettable and it's an absolute must-visit spot when in Singapore. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all of which tasted delicious. Overall, everything from the environment and facilities to the service was impeccable. It was a very enjoyable and memorable stay. If I ever visit Singapore again, I will definitely choose this hotel, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family!

This is an honest review of Carlton Hotel Singapore, where my mother and I stayed in the second week of August! I'll summarize what I felt during my stay. Floor: I requested a high floor when booking, but unfortunately, it wasn't accommodated, and we were assigned the 8th floor. However, the room condition was pleasant, so we didn't experience much inconvenience during our stay. Bed Type: The room type was an Executive Room. We requested twin beds so my mom and I could sleep comfortably, and they provided a room with two beds, which was perfect. The bedding was fresh, and the mattress was soft, so we slept soundly every night. Deposit & Cancellation Period: A deposit of $200 (SGD) is authorized upon check-in. Even if you use paid services, they are not deducted from the deposit; you pay for them separately upon check-out. It's been about 3 days since we checked out, and the deposit cancellation hasn't been processed yet, likely because it's an overseas authorization. It usually takes a few days to 1-2 weeks depending on the card company, so it's best to wait patiently. Bathroom & Amenities: Toothpaste and toothbrushes were provided, and shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were well-stocked, which we used comfortably throughout our stay. A hairdryer was also available. Cleaning & Refill: If you press the 'Please Clean Up' switch in the room, they will clean the room and replenish water, towels, toothpaste, and toothbrushes generously every time. Tip for Bedding Change: If you want to have the bed sheets completely changed, make sure to place the green sign provided in the room on the bed, and they will replace them with fresh bedding. Upon arriving at night, the magnificent glass chandelier stretching across the lobby ceiling immediately caught my eye. The high ceiling and luxurious feel made a great first impression. The swimming pool is quite small. However, Singapore's weather is extremely hot and humid, so people were constantly in the water regardless of the time of day. It was sufficient for cooling down and chilling out lightly during the day or evening. Gym: Across the swimming pool, there's a gym. It was clean and a simple hotel gym, perfect for a light workout. Breakfast/Hotel Dining: I didn't book breakfast because of the pressure to wake up early to eat breakfast when traveling. Instead of using the hotel's breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffets, we creatively handled our meals with delivery food and restaurants in nearby shopping malls. Raffles City Shopping Mall: The Raffles City shopping mall right next to the hotel was incredibly convenient! The restaurant and food court options were so good that we often went to Raffles City for our meals during our stay. Room Service: On the first night, we arrived at the hotel around 10-11 PM and were tired, so we ordered room service. The food tasted really delicious and satisfying, but as expected with Singapore prices, it was quite expensive. The taste is guaranteed, so it might be nice to use it once for a treat! Location & Transportation: On the map, I thought Merlion Park was within walking distance, but Singapore's August weather was hotter and more humid than I imagined, so walking was definitely not an option. Instead, there were well-located bus stops near the hotel, and we consistently took buses to major attractions, including Merlion Park. The routes were so well-established that we got around very conveniently. When it's hot, always use public transport! This was a trip with my mom, and thanks to the nearby shopping mall, meals were convenient. Overall, it was a satisfying hotel stay. I recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located accommodation in the heart of Singapore.

I visited Singapore in the last week of August and chose the Wyndham Hotel after sifting through many options, mainly because the price was right. The hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, and the facilities are pretty good. The room wasn't as small as some reviews suggested; at least it was bigger than similarly priced rooms in Hong Kong, although the bathroom was a bit cramped. The breakfast selection wasn't sparse, but it wasn't really to my taste. It was fine for a day or two, but I started to get tired of it after that. During my stay in Singapore, what I appreciated most about the Wyndham Hotel was its excellent location. You can walk to Fort Canning Park, the Old Hill Street Police Station, Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park. Chinatown, Sentosa, and Mandai Wildlife Reserve are all directly accessible by subway. Being near City Hall MRT station, it’s really in a prime area. Overall, for about S$1500 a night, staying at the Wyndham Hotel in Singapore was a decent choice and I would recommend it.

Our family trip has just ended, and both my parents and children were very happy with this hotel. When I first chose it, location was a key factor. Of course, several other hotels nearby were also close, but this one was about a 10-minute walk to the Merlion. The second major factor was the lobby and the hotel's design – this was the deciding point. The completely open-plan design gives a comfortable, airy, and resort-like feel. There are abundant green plants interspersed throughout the floors, which both my mother and child loved taking photos of. Third, since we were traveling with a child, we needed to push two twin beds together, and the movable twin bed design made this very easy. Upon arrival, the hotel lived up to our expectations. The design is excellent, and the views are superb. I'd recommend choosing a room facing Marina Bay Sands if possible; if you can't see the bay, you might as well stay a bit further away. Another pleasant surprise was the swimming pool. It's perfect for kids and for sunbathing in peace. The environment is calm and refreshing, and staff promptly clear up after previous swimmers. The pool is definitely a big plus for this hotel. Regarding the breakfast, although the hotel is near a mall with connecting access, after exploring, we found there weren't many options suitable for children. While the breakfast was just okay, we still stuck with it, which greatly eased the decision-making for those with choice paralysis. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for family trips. The design is first-rate, and the service is quite excellent.

Professional guest relationship staff greeted upon checking in & out making it seamlessly smooth. A generous size bedroom with a King size bed, well designed bathroom with rain shower makes one feel on vacation. LVL 65 club lounge & LVL 70 Bar was a great place to chill with unbeatable views of the city. Both the bedroom & bathroom were very clean with quality Pillows, towels and bathrobes. Could be better to make it even better will be to provide more generous afternoon tea as compared to competitors. Certainly will come back for the unbeatable views.

The hotel is ideally located and exceptionally clean. Although the rooms are small, they are fully equipped with everything you need. One feature I especially loved was the water dispenser with adjustable temperature settings. It is incredibly convenient and a huge plus for anyone who loves drinking warm water, as you don't have to wait for a kettle to boil. The lobby also offers complimentary local snacks, which the kids absolutely loved. They also have a self-service luggage storage room. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time!

The room was relatively spacious, which I really liked. The bathroom even had a bathtub, and we had a view of a church from the window. It's in a quiet location. The service was quite good, and they offered luggage storage. If you exit the hotel and turn left, you'll find the Esplanade MRT station (Exit A) on the Circle Line. There's a laundry room on the 4th floor; washing and drying costs 10 SGD, and you can get coins at the front desk on the ground floor. I didn't get to check out the pool. If you haven't booked breakfast, there are shops across from the hotel where you can grab a bite.

Would like to preface by saying, if you’re a Singaporean citizen. BRING YOUR PHYSICAL DOCUMENTS! If you try and check in with SingPass, they won’t allow you. They don’t make this clear ANYWHERE. And they give you a nasty face as if you’re supposed to know that they’ve only recently changed their policies. Overall still a very nice stay. They changed my room without notice though. I booked the room with the bed on the first floor, but they gave me the bed that’s on the loft. Location is good, can skip the food downstairs.

Siloso Beach Resort is a treasure hotel with green and eco-friendly concept. The staying experience is kinda of beyond our expectation. The location is excellent, where nearby the beach and the shuttle bus with easy access to play all around the Sentosa. Both the working staff and the management are warm-hearted and helpful. Especially Antony, one Indian working staff, gave us quite good dining suggestion. The design concept is natural, green, original and sustainable. Hotel room is spacious and part of their staff are persons with disabilities. The hotel create the working opportunity for those kind of special persons and make contribution to the society. We like this hotel and would love to come back again!

Finally, a special shout-out to the chef who makes the laksa at the restaurant. I've forgotten their name, I think it started with a 'P' (seriously, I can't remember!), but their laksa is absolutely delicious!!! As for the room size, it's comparable to a standard budget hotel in China, but it's clean and tidy, and there's a direct drinking water tap, which is very handy for refilling water bottles!!!

The lady on duty on the Singapore public holiday after the National Day was a bit crafty. Wanted to charge us $100 for checking in at 14h00, one hour earlier than official checkin. The notices on the counter clearly mentioned it cost $25 for a one hour early checkin. We did not request an early checkin. Then came the carrot. The same lady offered one room with 4 beds instead of the two rooms we had booked with free early checkin. Nice try, but we were not falling for that old trick. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it turned out to be a very nice hotel. The bed was right there as soon as you opened the door. However, since we were out most of the day, we only used the room for sleeping, so the small size wasn't an issue at all. My suitcase was small too, so spreading it out wasn't a problem, but I imagine it might feel cramped for larger individuals or those with big suitcases. There's no partition between the toilet and shower, so if you don't shower carefully, the toilet can get soaked. We didn't mind this at all and actually enjoyed the unique experience. Perhaps the other guests were well-mannered, as we were able to have a quiet stay in our room. You could hear voices when people walked in the hallway and the sound of doors opening, but otherwise, it was very peaceful and we had a relaxing time. The amenities were well-stocked, and we had everything we needed. There was an empty fridge, instant coffee, and tea, and anything we used was replenished. There's also a convenience store nearby and Isetan is close, so finding food wasn't a problem. Check-in and check-out are done via machines, but when we seemed confused, a staff member came over and helped us. The staff were also very kind when they held our luggage for us. I'm very grateful that everyone assisted us without any hesitation, even though I'm not fluent in English.

I stayed here because I had an early flight the next morning. The location is perfect, as I could do some last-minute shopping at Jewel and prepare for my departure. It felt like a significantly upgraded capsule hotel bed, though I've never actually stayed in a capsule hotel before. However, the room was tiny. Once I opened my large suitcase, there was barely any space to move around. The shower only had a half-glass door, so if you took a vigorous shower, the floor near the toilet would get soaked. The water pressure was also incredibly weak. Shampoo and body wash were provided, but there was no conditioner. There were two USB ports for phone charging, but neither of them worked. I managed to charge my phone using an adapter I brought from Japan, but it was slow charging due to the weak current. It took about 5 hours to fully charge. I had some time before hotel check-in, so I stopped by the Priority Pass lounge at Jewel to charge my phone, which was a much more comfortable experience. The showers there were also much more luxurious. As soon as I entered the room, I found the pink lighting to be distasteful, like a love hotel. You could switch it off, but I couldn't relax at all in a pink room. The bed was plush and comfortable though, which was a plus.

This time, I stayed for one night after a cruise. Since it was a post-cruise stay, the room was very spacious, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing time. I was particularly satisfied with the food. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious, making it a highlight of our stay. Our whole family enjoyed the meal. We also used the pool. After experiencing the crowded pools on Disney Cruise Line, the kids absolutely loved the hotel's pool, finding it very comfortable. It was a great place to unwind after the cruise. Another memorable aspect was the hand soap in the room. It had a wonderful fragrance, so much so that I wanted to buy it to use at home. Unfortunately, I was told it wasn't for sale, which was a shame. This time, we booked two rooms for five people. We had requested a twin room for one of them, but this request wasn't accommodated, so three of us ended up using a triple room. It felt a bit cramped for three people, and we had to use the sofa for sleeping. We were informed at check-in that an extra bed would incur a charge, so I think clearer information beforehand would have helped us prepare more comfortably. Regarding the staff's service, there were no particular concerns; overall, it felt quite ordinary. On the other hand, a slight disappointment was the green cushion on the bed. It had a very strong, surprising odor. We couldn't use it and had to leave it on the floor. Since cushions can come into direct contact with skin, I believe frequent cleaning of the covers would make them more reassuring to use. The odor this time was quite intense, and it might make me more conscious of cushion conditions when staying at other hotels in the future. Also, Singapore has many large buildings, and it was sometimes difficult to figure out where we were within the hotel. Even with maps, navigating was a bit confusing, and it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't fully appreciate the hotel's good location before our stay ended. Overall, we made many good memories, including the spacious and comfortable room, the varied and delicious buffet, and the pool and lounge access that the kids enjoyed. However, there were also areas that could be improved for an even more comfortable stay, such as the odor of the room cushion and the information regarding room occupancy and extra beds. Although it was only a one-night stay, it was a relaxing time after the cruise and a good time for the family. Thank you.

The hotel's location is excellent, quiet and set back from the main road. It's the closest hotel to Palawan Beach, and you can even walk to the southernmost suspension bridge in Asia. You access the hotel lobby on the third floor after walking through a parking lot. We stayed in a sea-view room, 502. It faced west towards an MRT parking station, so the view wasn't anything special (see the second and third to last photos for our room's view). However, this orientation meant we could watch the fireworks show from another beach at 8 PM. If you choose odd-numbered rooms from 507 onwards, you'll get a view of the southern suspension bridge (the very last photo was taken from the south-facing stairwell). Rooms from 507-513 might have their views obstructed by large trees, so for the safest bet, odd-numbered rooms from 515 onwards would offer better views. However, it seems the best-facing rooms are always reserved for foreigners. Chinese guests, perhaps, are only allocated west-facing rooms like 501-506. I've noticed this pattern during my stay – rooms with good views always go to Westerners. The downstairs pool is beautiful, and honestly, out of the 2750 RMB room rate, about 2000 RMB feels like it's for the pool alone. On the way to the beach, you'll pass a building with a plane going through it. This is a children's career experience center. Kids aged 3-5 might enjoy it, similar to 'Pan Xiaobao' or 'World's Best' role-play centers in China. However, the price isn't cheap – over 1000 RMB for one adult and one child.

She had asked for daily housekeeping throughout the stay, and he made sure this was carried out consistently, every single day, without fail. The room was always spotless, towels and amenities were replenished promptly, and small details were never overlooked. His attentiveness and professionalism gave us real peace of mind, particularly since we were arranging this stay remotely for a young guest staying on her own. While the room facilities and bedding might not quite meet five-star standards, and the single bed is a bit narrow, these are all acceptable given the numerous positives, haha! The front desk staff were lovely, and the buffet restaurant staff were very efficient. The egg pancake at the breakfast buffet was good, and dining outdoors was very pleasant. The room service staff were also quite decent. The bedding wasn't changed daily; during our three-day stay, they only emptied the bins and replaced the linen. I even saw The Fullerton Hotel from a river cruise on the canal, and its imposing presence was truly impressive. Booking a Marina Bay view room was absolutely the right choice. I could watch the nightly shows from my room, and the mornings were incredibly pleasant. I highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet also offered a wide variety of delicious options. The Laksa, in particular, was truly amazing, with plenty of shrimp and shellfish. I had it every day during my stay. And above all, the service from all the hotel staff was superb. My stay was actually to celebrate a family occasion, and their polite and warm hospitality truly made me feel, ”This is what The Fullerton Hotel is all about.” I also fell in love with the hotel's adorable stuffed animal and bought one as a souvenir. I'll treasure it as a memory of my trip. The location, food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful, making my Singapore trip even more memorable. The next day, when I tried to take a shower at night, the water supply was cut off. It was restored after about an hour and a half, but it was incredibly inconvenient. I chose this hotel because it was a bit more expensive, yet I ended up feeling so exhausted. At the check-in counter, there were three queues, with about three families in each. I picked one and waited for about 20 minutes to be served. At the time, I thought the efficiency here was a bit low, and there wasn't the usual welcoming smile or a glass of water like in other four or five-star hotels. While I was thinking this, a female manager walked back from a distance, looked at me with a cold expression, and asked, 'Are you not queuing? Look, everyone else is queuing.' Her unreasonable and unfounded accusation made me feel embarrassed and offended. Was this a stereotypical prejudice against Chinese faces? I explained in English, but she remained noncommittal. Instead, the staff member who was actually checking me in and understood the situation said 'sorry' to me. In short, this female manager's arrogance and discrimination marred my good impression of the hotel. I hope she sees this review.

The renovated Grand Hyatt is grand and clean. We stayed for two nights, and everything went smoothly. Check-in was a bit slow, but it was efficient. The bay window sofa design is excellent; you can even get extra blankets to use it as a bed. My family and I both found the breakfast buffet delicious. I think it's the best curry, laksa, and teh tarik I've had in Singapore, especially after trying several popular '网红' (influencer-recommended) restaurants that weren't as good as the Hyatt's. The deposit refund might be a bit slow, taking 14-21 days to process, which is a downside compared to other Hyatt properties like Andaz, where the refund is processed on the same day. When we were leaving, I had two suitcases by myself, and a South Asian staff member in the lobby proactively offered to help. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I want to thank all the hotel staff for giving me a pleasant vacation.

For my trip to Singapore, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Atiq, an outstanding staff member at the Fairmont Hotel. A small incident occurred during our trip, which truly highlighted the hotel's professional and heartwarming service. We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel for our first stop, and then headed to Sentosa for the next part of our itinerary. After checking in at Sentosa and just as we were about to head to Resorts World, my child suddenly realized that their blue backpack, containing nearly completed summer homework, had been left on a sofa in the Fairmont Hotel lobby. The thought of losing all that hard-earned homework instantly panicked my child, and as parents, we were at a loss and quite flustered. In this critical moment, with assistance from the Sentosa side, Atiq from the Fairmont's concierge team responded swiftly. He carefully verified and confirmed that both the backpack and the summer homework were intact. He efficiently coordinated the inter-hotel transfer, immediately arranging a taxi to deliver the lost bag to our Sentosa hotel as quickly as possible. From locating the lost backpack, verifying information, coordinating communication, to the actual delivery of the item, the entire cross-location handling process took only thirty minutes. Atiq's exceptional efficiency and calm, professional crisis management left us both surprised and deeply touched. Heartfelt thanks to Atiq for his dedicated efforts! The responsibility and commitment of the Fairmont Hotel staff made this overseas trip exceptionally warm and perfect. A definite 👍, highly recommended!

I had to stay in Singapore for over 10 days. The room, although small, was clean, comfortable, and, most importantly, offered great value for money, perfect just for resting. My only complaint is about the shower, which has a fixed showerhead that isn't movable, making it a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was fine. There are many restaurants downstairs, which is very convenient.

Clean and classy hotel room. Right in the heart if the city. Easy to get around. Plenty of food & restaurants to choose from. Hotel staff are courteous and friendly. Especially Susan Tan at the reception desk. Thank-you, for granting us a late check-out. We will definitely be back here. And recommend our friends to stay here at A-Hotel Bugis. Suggestion: It will be a huge added comfort use to instal a bidet spray next to toilet bowl.

The Clan Hotel truly deserves a dedicated review, even from someone like me who rarely writes them. The hygiene is excellent, and our corner room had two massive windows. The metro station is right downstairs, and they provide complimentary snacks and drinks. While there's no bottled water, they offer a direct drinking water tap, tea cakes, and coffee. The front desk staff was incredibly nice; we checked in close to midnight and I left my phone at the front desk in a daze, but the lady kindly brought it up to our room. There's a small infinity pool on the 30th floor which is quite serene. I highly recommend this hotel for couples or families with older children exploring the city.

The room was spacious and even had a balcony. The sofa could be pulled out into a bed, and the kitchen was fully equipped, perfect for family trips. Right next door is a mall with all sorts of dining options, and everything you could need is along the way. The subway station is not far, and ION Mall itself has many high-end restaurants. The food court on the basement floor offers a wide variety of choices, which is very convenient.

The hotel pool was closed for maintenance and you directed us to a free pool to use round the corner in a different hotel which was beautiful. Thank you for making our trip great. I specifically booked this hotel to attend a concert at Star Vista. It's only tens of meters away from the venue, so after the show, there was no need to rush back. The hotel room was very clean, equipped with toiletries and disposable slippers (though I'd recommend bringing your own for better comfort). The shower and toilet were separated, and the surroundings were very quiet, ensuring two nights of excellent sleep. The staff were friendly and could communicate in basic English. Since there was an available room, they allowed me to check in an hour early. Also, they didn't charge the 50 SGD deposit that Trip.com had warned me about. The housekeeping was very thorough; they even folded my pajamas neatly! 😃

Although the room wasn't huge, the bedding was comfortable and the furnishings were decent. The only downside was seeing a giant ant on the second day that was incredibly hard to kill – I had to flush it down the toilet in the end! I didn't see any more after that, and I guess it's normal to have ants in tropical Singapore. The hotel's buffet was excellent, with very fresh seafood – definitely worth trying.
