每次去厦门，我最期待的其实不是景点，而是 “吃什么”😂 一整天走下来，你会发现这座城市真的超多美食...... 早餐一碗热热的沙茶面，午餐来点重口味的海蛎煎，晚上再去海边吃烧烤配海风，真的很爽。而且重点是，很多看起来不起眼的小店，反而是本地人一直在回头吃的。下面我就帮你整理好啦！我分别按早餐、午餐、晚餐这样整理出，所以你照着吃就对了👇！

🌅 早餐吃什么？

厦门的早餐真的很“接地气”，不是那种精致咖啡店路线，而是那种你一走进巷子就会闻到香味的感觉😎🍜。

🍜 沙茶面

这个基本上可以说是厦门早餐的代表了。汤底是沙茶香+花生香🥜混在一起的味道，第一口可能会有点浓，但是会越吃越顺。里面通常会有肉片、鱿鱼、豆腐、青菜之类的，一碗下去其实很有饱足感。我自己是那种早上不太吃很多的人，但来厦门真的会不小心把整碗吃完😝。

这个比较偏 “柔和型早餐”，适合早上不想吃太重口味的人。口感的话是那种滑滑、稠稠的感觉，其实就跟我们这里的面线汤差不多一样。很多本地人就是早餐直接来一碗，不会太油也不会太重口味，吃起来很暖胃很舒服，通常在一些小摊或老店比较容易吃到✅。

如果你早上想吃点甜的，这个很推荐👍。热热的一碗花生汤，甜度刚刚好，花生煮到很软很绵，入口即化。有些人会搭配油条或咸点一起吃，甜咸甜咸的那种感觉其实还蛮特别的😝。

这个就是最安全、最不会出错的早餐组合了。豆浆是热的，油条是现炸的，吃起来外脆内软。虽然看起来很普通，但在厦门路边随便一家早餐店吃都会很好吃，早餐吃了这个组合会超满足！🥳

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Xiamen and I have to give a shout-out to Vicky at the front desk! The hotel's cleanliness was well-maintained, and its location made getting around very convenient. The overall atmosphere was comfortable, and I felt very secure during my stay. The biggest impression during my stay was the high-quality service at the front desk. Upon arrival at the hotel to check in, the front desk staff were warm and polite, very skilful and efficient, with no long waits. When inquiring about check-in benefits and nearby travel routes, the staff patiently and thoroughly answered and proactively offered practical advice. After reporting any issues, the response was prompt, and the handling was appropriate and professional, which was very satisfying. The room environment is well maintained, with all facilities in good condition, making it comfortable and convenient to use. The hotel is in a prime location, close to commercial districts, making travel and dining very convenient. The front desk team provides well-mannered, warm, and welcoming service without being overly intrusive, which is very good. The entire stay was smooth and pleasant, and the thoughtful, attentive service at the front desk greatly enhanced the experience. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure trips, highly recommended. I will choose to book again next time I come to Xiamen. Overall, it was a good stay. The room facilities were moderately new, and the bathroom was quite nice, though it was a bit disappointing not to have a smart toilet. The room was very clean, and the view was also good. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. As an international brand, the service was impeccable and very thoughtful. For this price point in Xiamen, it offers excellent value for money. It's worth mentioning that the Japanese Teppanyaki on the second floor is great value; the 129 yuan single set meal offers a generous amount of food.

The housekeepers were all very warm, polite, and accommodating. They even greeted me proactively when I met them before heading out. The room service staff were also incredibly thoughtful; when I wasn't feeling well and asked for a cup of warm water, they brought me a whole pot. The only downside was the air conditioning, which I wasn't happy with at all, as it was very, very slow to adjust the temperature. The view was fantastic, and I really appreciated that my room was ready early for check-in.

The room decor was artistic and the room itself was clean and tidy; I was very satisfied with my stay. The only minor drawback was the slightly low water pressure in the bathroom. It was sufficient for showering, but a stronger flow would have been better. Breakfast was inexpensive and offered a good variety. The hotel provides airport transfer, which needs to be booked in advance. It's also a short taxi ride, just a few minutes to T4.

The hotel's location is a bit far from the attractions, but since we were driving, it wasn't a big issue. There aren't any shopping areas within walking distance; you have to walk a bit to find some hustle and bustle. The room was spacious, and they kindly upgraded us to a sea-view room, which had a fantastic view. The only thing I have to complain about is the swimming pool. It felt like it was outsourced and completely lacked the service you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. Every shower stall reeked of urine, and after I told the attendant, she just sprayed some air freshener. The towels weren't laid out either; when I asked, the attendant told me to go find them myself in the utility room. The hairdryer's outlet also looked quite unsafe. This is a big deduction of points.

Had a great stay at the Pullman Xiamen Powerlong during my trip to Xiamen. It's right next to Bailuzhou Park, so you can enjoy the beautiful views of Yuandang Lake as soon as you step outside. It was also super convenient to catch the musical fountain show at night. The front desk staff were warm and polite, making check-in a breeze, and they even recommended nearby attractions and good eats. The room was clean and quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's heated pool was perfect for relaxing. With its excellent location, it's definitely a recommended place to stay.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and I simply have to give it a full, glowing review! First off, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect, making travel incredibly convenient. It's very close to Metro Line 1, and getting a taxi or using public transport is a breeze. Zhongshan Road is nearby, offering a plethora of local specialty snacks. Whether you're shopping, dining, commuting, or sightseeing, there's no need to go out of your way – it's ideal for both tourists and business travelers. Secondly, the service from both the front desk and housekeeping made me feel truly welcome. Check-in was incredibly efficient, and the staff were gentle and polite. They patiently answered all my questions and thoughtfully arranged a room that perfectly met my needs. The room itself was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was also excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. I was especially touched when a staff member noticed I had hung wet clothes in the bathroom and thoughtfully brought me a drying rack to help spread them out – truly attentive service. What surprised me most was the hotel's takeaway food stall! It's a one-stop shop for various authentic Xiamen specialty snacks. The flavors were incredibly genuine, a true treat for the taste buds – my experience was absolutely enhanced. In conclusion, both the hardware facilities and the soft services were impeccable, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Xiamen, and I highly recommend it to all fellow travelers!

The hotel is fully intelligent, such as electric curtains, smart toilets, etc., providing a comfortable and convenient accommodation experience. The hotel's decoration style combines southern Fujian characteristics with modern elements to create a unique atmosphere. The hotel is cost-effective and is a good choice on Gulangyu Island.

The hotel's environment and location are excellent. The staff provided great service, and there were plenty of interactive activities for children, offering a lot of emotional value. However, the dining experience was a bit lacking: breakfast was pretty much the same every day, and there were fewer Northern Chinese food options. Although it's advertised as a family-friendly hotel, the baby food selection was somewhat limited compared to family hotels in Sanya, which is why I'm giving it 4.5 stars. The highlight was the afternoon tea experience, which the kids absolutely loved. Especially after playing in the water and expending a lot of energy, it was great for replenishing their strength. They enjoyed all the sandwiches, cookies, and fruit (and it was a nice touch that the lollipops were Chupa Chups, not just generic ones). On the downside, the hotel's main building claims a 5-minute direct walk to the beach. In reality, just walking from the lobby through the path to the entrance of the underpass already takes 5 minutes (for an adult walking at a normal pace). Then you go down the underpass, cross a small square, and finally reach the beach. The whole process takes at least 10 minutes (unless you're running the whole way). This feels a bit like an overstatement in their promotion, and I hope the hotel improves this in the future.

Disappointing given the price. Great facilities for kids, including kids club, excursions and a large swimming pool. Special thanks to Kenny at the pool who was friendly and fun practicing swimming with my children. The check in experience could be improved. We arrived at 2pm (the designated check in time) and were told we had to wait 'a little while' for our room. Eventually two hours later the room was ready. Staff didn't apologise or do much to help - just told us to go have a coffee. A waste of time we should have been able to use the room we paid for. The club floor is also very disappointing in terms of the food and beverage offerings and especially how it becomes completely overwhelmed at peak times (happy hour for example). The staff try their best, but the environment becomes chaotic and filled with rubbish, people grabbing massive piles of food (much of which is wasted), and it's very hard to get a cold drink. Maybe not worth the extra cost if you are looking to relax. Finally the hotel overlooks a bridge construction yard with trucks rumbling and steel being erected all night.

I've always had a good impression of Conrad, but the service at Conrad Xiamen this time was really disappointing. I checked in on August 5th and 7th. On the 6th, I pressed the 'do not disturb' button. In the afternoon, I received a call asking when I'd like my room cleaned. I gave them a time, and then shortly after, I got another call asking the same thing. I don't understand the point of the 'do not disturb' sign or the first call. Around 8 PM, a staff member brought me a complimentary sweet soup, and when I asked why I hadn't received it the night before, she said they were too busy. That evening, I complained to the front desk. The next day, when I checked out, the lobby manager, Ms. Shen (2459), told me that as a resolution, they would refund a small portion of my room fee and waive the dining expenses during my stay. I then left the hotel. On the way, I received a call from Trip.com, saying that for the hotel to refund a small part of the room fee, I would need to cancel my order, which meant I wouldn't be able to leave a review. I disagreed. Afterwards, as shown in picture two, Ms. Shen called me three more times. There was no apology or intention to improve service; she just wanted me to compromise. In the last call, she even started by saying that my 2000 deposit hadn't been refunded, trying to threaten me into compromising and canceling the order. She also constantly interrupted me. I told her I would complain about her as well and hoped someone else would respond to my two complaints. On the evening of August 8th, as shown in picture three, a woman claiming to be from customer relations called. I was unable to take the call at the time, and she promised to call me back the next day. Now it's the third day, and I still haven't received a call. I feel that the hotel has no sincerity or intention to resolve the issue, which is why I'm writing this negative review. Separately, the Hainanese chicken rice from room service was also very bad. The chicken was dry and fishy, and even the rice tasted like it was from yesterday. At the hotel's Michelin-recommended Chinese restaurant, Luchenxuan (2026), I ordered a Boston lobster mapo tofu. It wasn't spicy, numbing, fresh, or fragrant; it was bland and had a beany taste. When the waiter asked for my feedback at checkout, they immediately waived the charge for that dish. At least the restaurant service was acceptable, but the service from the front desk and customer relations department is completely unworthy of a five-star hotel.

I had high expectations for Le Méridien Xiamen, a high-end Marriott property, especially after booking the One-Bedroom Villa Suite 1101. However, my experience was deeply disappointing. First, there were hygiene issues. On the first night, I found a bug while dining in the restaurant. Later, I discovered a dead insect in the downstairs bathroom of my room. When I called housekeeping, I also realized the doorbell was broken. For a high-end hotel, this level of hygiene and facility maintenance is simply unacceptable. The most egregious issue was the guest room security. Due to the broken doorbell, the hotel said they would arrange for repairs. I understood that equipment needed fixing and was willing to cooperate. However, the next day at noon, while I was taking a nap in my room, I suddenly heard noises outside. When I opened the door, a male maintenance worker had already entered the room area and set up a ladder near the stairs, ready to start repairs. Throughout this entire process, I received no phone call, no text message, no email, and absolutely no form of consent was requested. Both I and my companion are female, and we were genuinely shocked and felt extremely unsafe. We had to demand that he leave immediately. To this day, I wonder: Does the hotel allow non-emergency maintenance staff to enter an occupied room without the guest's knowledge? How does such a procedure ensure guest privacy and safety? Beyond that, the front desk service was also disappointing. One evening, I wanted to inquire about a specific dish I had ordered via in-room dining for lunch, just to know which restaurant it came from. The front desk repeatedly insisted I show the order receipt and made no effort to help me look it up. As we tried to find the consumption record, the staff even walked away directly, leaving us stranded at the front desk, showing a complete lack of service awareness. Later, at the Chinese restaurant, I first tried to order baby lobsters, but was told they were unavailable. I switched to green crab, waited a while, and was told that was also unavailable. I then changed to mud crab, and again, it wasn't available. This happened three times in a row, with each unavailability communicated only after a long wait. In the end, I had to settle for yellow croaker. The food tasted good, but the overall dining experience was very poor. After dinner, I went to the executive lounge. There was almost no proactive service, and the staff were chatting loudly, completely undermining the quiet and professional atmosphere one expects from an executive lounge. My impression from this stay is not that just one aspect was flawed, but that there were significant shortcomings across hygiene management, room maintenance, security management, front desk service, F&B operations, and executive lounge service. Specifically, the incident where a male maintenance worker was arranged to enter an occupied room without guest consent is what I found most unacceptable. Equipment can break down, but a hotel should never disregard a guest's fundamental right to privacy, security, and information. I hope the hotel thoroughly investigates this matter and provides a formal explanation. I also hope other guests, especially female guests, are aware of this.

To be honest, the room facilities are quite outdated. What's more, the setup is impractical: the hairdryer is placed too high, making it difficult to reach; there's no basket in the bathroom for dirty towels; and the fridge is completely empty. The worst part is the Wi-Fi – it's incredibly slow and constantly lags, making it impossible to even stream a show on my phone. This hotel needs to seriously improve to live up to its five-star rating. A major tourist city shouldn't have five-star hotels like this! Hope they improve!

Here's my review: **Pros:** 1. The environment is absolutely top-notch. 2. The service staff, including the security personnel, are exceptionally helpful and resolve any issues you might have. Other staff members proactively greet guests. I'd particularly like to mention Fiona, Sylvia Wang, and Doris Zhang by name, though all the other service staff were superb too! Give them a raise! 3. Fiona kindly brought me welcome snacks and a welcome gift. **Cons:** 1. As soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, musty old furniture smell. It was incredibly heavy, and it even woke me up once during the night. The hotel really needs to replace its furniture, or at least some of the wooden elements like doors and wardrobes, as the moldy wood smell is too overpowering. The room door also looks very old and definitely needs replacing! (Fiona did provide an air purifier, but that's just a temporary fix). 2. As you can see in Picture 3, the hangers are also very old, and age makes them look dirty. 3. The small makeup mirror in the bathroom kept drooping and wouldn't stay up. It should be replaced. 4. The TV is also very old – an ancient Philips model. The remote control is sluggish, taking ages to change channels, which was frustrating to watch. 5. The hotel lacks robots. They should invest in delivery robots so guests can easily have food delivered to their rooms. 6. The breakfast selection is rich and varied. I highly recommend the wontons and waffles. The lady making waffles and the gentleman and lady cooking wontons were all very enthusiastic. (Give them a raise!) In summary, the smell in the room is arguably this hotel's biggest flaw, but it's not something that can be changed quickly. It will depend on the owner's decision.

Xiamen Lanyue Fliport Hotel

This was the third hotel I stayed at during my trip to Xiamen. It used to be a Westin, a well-known five-star hotel. I had to use navigation for the new name several times when taking a taxi, but if I just said 'Westin,' the drivers knew exactly where to go. The name has changed, but it's still a five-star hotel with five-star service. From the bellhops at the entrance and in the lobby, to the lobby manager, front desk staff, and housekeeping on the floors – everyone was incredibly professional, warm, and polite. They even upgraded me to an executive suite for this stay, and coincidentally, it was my birthday on the day I checked in – I'm very grateful! The room was huge and luxurious, and I stayed for three nights. The view from the window was beautiful. The hotel breakfast was also very diverse and well-managed, with plates cleared promptly. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Xiamen.

My family of three spent a weekend getaway at the Renaissance Xiamen, and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience! **Facilities:** We booked a poolside room, and the space inside was incredibly spacious. All the amenities were complete and looked brand new. Being able to step right out to the pool was fantastic – our child spent the whole day splashing around and didn't want to leave. **Service:** A special shout-out to all the hotel staff; their attitudes were exceptionally kind and attentive. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant service, any requests were responded to promptly. **Dining:** On Saturday evening, we made sure to try the buffet dinner. It mainly featured mini hot pots, along with an abundance of crayfish. The variety of dishes was impressive, with seafood, hot dishes, and desserts all available. The ingredients were super fresh, and we left feeling very satisfied. The breakfast buffet the next day was also excellent. **Environment:** The location is another big plus, being very close to the beach, making it super convenient for a stroll. We had a comfortable stay throughout, making it our top choice for a family vacation with kids. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Xiamen!

Our stay at Langham Xiamen was excellent overall! I have to commend the housekeeping; the room was spotless, and the bathroom and bedding details were meticulously handled. The room's amenities are top-notch, and the bedding quality is fantastic – I especially loved their large square pillows. Although the twin beds were a bit small, similar to those in Southeast Asian tourist cities (around 1.15m), the overall room size was generous, making it suitable for both business and leisure. Room service was prompt and discreet. It truly lives up to its reputation as a classic British brand. Special thanks to Ms. Cheng Lin, the Guest Relations Manager. Her service was incredibly thoughtful. She remembered me and my child when we saw her at the lobby lounge during afternoon tea, and again at checkout, even recalling my car entry issue. I will definitely stay here again. The only minor drawback was being assigned a street-facing room. The window's soundproofing wasn't great, and I could clearly hear traffic noise late at night. Light sleepers might want to request an inner room in advance when checking in. Otherwise, everything else was impeccable.

This is hands down the best family-friendly hotel we've stayed at so far! The room was incredibly spacious, and the soft furnishings were perfectly designed with kids in mind. The two king-sized beds (1.8m) ensured both adults and children slept comfortably. Our family room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, showing a clear investment of effort and cost – our little one absolutely loved it. The hotel's location is excellent overall, and the service is incredibly attentive. The fully equipped laundry room met all our washing needs during our family trip. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very friendly. Being located right within Bailuzhou Park, we could step out and feed the pigeons or watch egrets fishing. The only minor downsides were the slightly weak soundproofing in the room, which I hope they can improve, and the limited parking spaces, which could benefit from expansion to better accommodate guests traveling by car. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it!

Kids loved the family suite so much, they didn't want to leave! ❤️ We brought our child to Xiamen this time, and the hotel upgraded us to a Sun and Moon Valley family suite. The overall experience was even better than expected, perfect for a family vacation. The room was very spacious. As soon as we entered, my child started exploring everywhere. The room was filled with animal-themed furniture and decorations – deer, ponies, a giraffe lamp, and many adorable plush toys. It was truly whimsical! Even my usually picky daughter had a blast, spending half the day just taking photos in the room. The bed was huge, easily accommodating four people without feeling cramped. The overall decor had a Southeast Asian resort vibe. Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, without that dated feel you sometimes get with older hotels. The hotel itself has plenty of facilities for kids: billiards, table tennis, a swimming pool, and a children's activity area, all of which helped us pass the time. Our family also played a super-sized foosball game, which was a lot of fun. The hot spring area is right across the street, with a shuttle service running back and forth, making it incredibly convenient. After a relaxing soak, coming back to rest was a breeze. The breakfast selection was also quite varied, with both Chinese and Western options, generally satisfying the tastes of our entire family. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially towards families with children.

There's a wide variety and the food tastes excellent. The room is also very dorm-like, quiet, and the bed is fantastic, leading to naturally high-quality sleep. The only minor downside is that the pool isn't very big, but the water quality is excellent. Also, our butler, Merry, took great care of us. For example, she'd ask what we wanted refilled in the minibar and prepared turn-down service nightly before we came back (which included a pre-sleep dessert, a floor mat next to the bed, and indoor slippers).

The property is located near Train Line 1 at Zhenhai Road Station, about a 3–5 minute walk away. Please note there is a steep road with uphill and downhill sections. A 3-minute walk will take you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and Zhonghua City. The Eighth Market (Bashi) is about a 15–20 minute walk from the hotel. Staff and service: The front desk staffs and cleaning aunties are friendly and helpful. However, I noticed that the aunties in the breakfast restaurant tend to chat a lot among themselves and only attend to guests when someone asks for something. I preferred a window room, but just be aware that you can hear the restaurants across the road shouting to attract customers, (p/s: the front desk staff has highlighted it during check-in). When the street is less crowded, you can even hear the ”Alipay payment received” announcement (”Zhifubao daozhang”). The water temperature was not hot enough on my last day stay, not too sure why. Overall is ok.

The front desk and staff were attentive and thoughtful throughout my stay, responding quickly and providing detailed service. It's perfect for both short business trips and leisure travel – it's definitely on my list for a return visit!

We arrived on the island during a torrential downpour and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. I'd only heard about the unique architecture of the hotel, but after checking in, everything was excellent. The service was especially attentive and responsive. I got caught in the rain on the way in, and the front desk staff provided hot ginger tea. After checking in, I requested afternoon tea, which was also promptly delivered to my room. I'm especially grateful for the laundry service and luggage delivery to the dock, which greatly enhanced my travel experience. The food at the hotel and its own restaurant was also excellent, saving me the trouble of dining out on rainy days. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

I originally booked for three days and two nights, then extended my stay for another day. The environment is really good, and everything is quite clean. The location is excellent, only about a five-minute walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which is super convenient! They even have robots deliver food!

Had a super comfortable stay here. It's really close to Xiamen Airport, just about a 12-minute taxi ride, which was incredibly convenient. We booked a room that included the breakfast buffet, and there was a huge variety of food, making for a very enjoyable meal. The front desk staff were also incredibly patient. Even though it's near the airport, it was still very quiet at night.

尤其是在八市或者路边海鲜店，有些是按斤算的，一定要先问清楚价格再决定，不然很容易还钱的时候吓了一跳。

🔍 网红店不一定最好吃

中山路、曾厝垵有很多排队很长的店，但其实吃起来很普通。如果看到本地人多的小店，反而更稳。

🌦️ 天气很影响食欲

厦门偏热偏潮，尤其夏天中午会有点闷，所以建议早餐和晚餐可以吃好一点，中午简单吃也 OK。

🤤 尽量留一点肚子给夜宵

厦门的夜晚真的才是重点，烧烤、海鲜粥、夜市小吃都很容易让人不小心吃太多。
