The room was upgraded the next day, and the front desk staff had a great service attitude and even gave gifts to the children! Whenever we called for something, it was delivered quickly! The in-room dining service was excellent and not expensive! Breakfast was richer than expected, and the surrounding facilities were complete! The only minor regret was that the weather was too cold this time, so I didn't dare to go to the outdoor pool. I'll definitely come back next time!

We had a fantastic stay at Paradox Hotel Sydney. The location is excellent — super central and very easy to get to, whether you’re coming in by car or public transport. It’s right near plenty of great bars and restaurants, so there’s always something happening nearby and lots of options within walking distance. The room was very clean and a great size, with plenty of space to relax. Everything felt well maintained and comfortable. The hotel staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We also made the most of the amenities — the pool and spa were a highlight and a great way to unwind after being out in the city. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Paradox Hotel Sydney to others looking for a central and comfortable place to stay.

We loved our stay at Hyatt Regency. The location is very convenient and walkable, especially when traveling with kids. We were able to easily walk to Barangaroo, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, and WILD LIFE Zoo, which made our trip very relaxed and enjoyable. The room is on the smaller side but comfortable, clean, and felt very safe and secure for our family. It’s also close to shopping areas and nearby parks, which our kids really enjoyed. Our only small concern is that the breakfast selection was almost the same each day, but the food quality was good overall.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location, directly opposite QVB (Queen Victoria Building), which makes getting around and shopping incredibly convenient. However, the room's hardware condition was quite disappointing. The space was very small and the facilities were quite old. The overall feel was probably equivalent to a domestic three-star standard. The service was decent though, with housekeeping coming daily. All things considered, I likely won't choose to stay here again. Unless you have an extreme obsession with being 'right outside QVB', you can definitely find a larger room with newer facilities for the same price in Sydney.

Overall, it exceeded my expectations. The suite had huge windows, and housekeeping cleaned daily. The kitchen facilities were complete, though I was hesitant to use the stove for fear of setting off the fire alarm. Was it $1460 or something like that? **Location:** The location is excellent. It’s a short walk to QVB and other places in the city. We even walked to the Opera House. Coming back from the outlet mall, it was a direct bus ride. **Service:** Good, the front desk staff were friendly. Even though there's no breakfast, it's easy to find breakfast nearby, so it wasn't a big deal. The only thing to note is that there's a lot of noise from racing cars or sirens (or ambulances?) outside the window at night.

Remember, check-out time is 11 AM. From the airport, buy a ticket for the T8 train to Wynyard Station. Take Exit 2 on George Street, cross the road, and walk straight for about 3 minutes – it's super convenient. Remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers. Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, as are a hairdryer, towels, and bath towels. There's a supermarket right outside the train station where you can buy water to take to the hotel; there's a kettle in the room. The only downside is that hotel prices here are generally expensive. You can take a three-stop tram ride to Chinatown, where you'll find all sorts of authentic food.

The best hostel for solo travellers. I was a bit hesitant at first given that the only available room was the mixed dorm. However, the room is clean, quiet, enough space for luggages. I think the best thing I noticed is the cleanliness and the travellers who were checking in because they are all well-mannered. It was a bummer that it was fully booked on my last day on Sydney. I transferred to a different hostel across the street and just massive comparison. Can bring big luggage here, there is a lift!!!

There is a waitress who doesn't care.

But the sink in the toilet is relatively narrow, and washing your face often makes the floor full of water. The table can be checked-in at three o'clock. When the time arrived, there was still no key in the post box. Later, they called and replied that they had not cleaned it. During the process of living, some spare parts were used up, and they were made up the next day, but the more troublesome thing was that the person who came to make up did not have a key and needed to make an appointment with the tenant. In addition, pay attention to airbnb can't store luggage, you have to find a nearby store to pay for it.

Location: Great location, right by the river, but unfortunately, we weren't given a river view room. Service: Overall, the staff were patient and polite. However, if you paid your deposit in cash, be prepared to start the checkout process at least 10-15 minutes early. They took nearly 20 minutes to inspect the room! Then, a staff member slowly ambled to the front desk to confirm everything was alright before they finally processed the deposit refund... The whole process was incredibly inefficient.

The check-in process was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and clean room that awaited me. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had all the amenities I could need for a short stay. Oakwood’s atmosphere was peaceful, and I was able to relax and unwind in no time. Though it was only one night, I felt truly taken care of and would highly recommend Oakwood to anyone looking for a restful stay. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be returning!

This was by far the best hotel during our Australia trip. First, it was incredibly affordable, offering genuine value for money. Second, the room was spacious; we could easily open two 28-inch suitcases in the luggage area, giving the kids plenty of room to play. Third, the environment and location were fantastic. The breakfast restaurant and corridor facing the Yarra River offered a distant view of Flinders Street, allowing the kids, on their first visit to Melbourne, to instantly grasp the city's unique charm. Right downstairs, you're on the riverside square with pigeons, musicians, and artists – the children immediately understood Melbourne's artistic vibe. Personally, I found it much better than the Westin in the CBD and the Langham in Southbank where I've stayed for business trips. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, making dining incredibly convenient. There's an exit downstairs that leads directly to the river, surrounded by a cluster of charming restaurants with river views. We enjoyed dinner at various places; my parents loved the Thai restaurant, and the kids were all about the steak. The hotel breakfast was more than adequate, and the head chef, who is Asian, was lovely to chat with. There were plenty of Asian options like congee and noodles, along with convenient chopsticks, and the kids' favorite, ice cream and a chocolate fountain. The breakfast service was excellent; both local staff and Chinese international students made us feel very comfortable. After learning from a student that you can work in Australia from age 14, my child has been dreaming of coming back in a few years to work and help alleviate the burden on me and their dad... Perhaps because we visited just before Chinese New Year, the massive crowds hadn't arrived yet, but this Crowne hotel genuinely made our stay so pleasant. And the festive 'Yarra River Fire' show was a delightful surprise that my parents and children absolutely loved.

Myself and my two teens spent a night here. We stayed on the 12th floor and the room was beautiful, the balcony was large and gave us wonderful views from the ocean to the city. The bed was super comfortable and it has to be one of the only hotels I’ve stayed in that actually descaled their kettles ( huge bonus for someone who is grossed out by hotel kettle stories) We enjoyed the pool in the early hours of the morning before check out. We tried to get towels to go down to the pool about 8:30 and told that they were closing it even though the hotel information states 10pm (apparently they needed to update that) It was in close proximity to many Melbourne landmarks, restaurants and activities. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The unit was great, well equipped with kitchen and necessities, washer dryer dishwasher and even all the detergents we would need. They also gave extra blankets which was a sweet touch. Walls were quite thin, we could hear a lot of traffic noise and even our neighbours. However, it is good enough. Oh one thing that threw us off was that a few of the couches had white lint on them so we didn't use them. Cleanliness could be improved. Overall we had a good stay.

Thanks to Ctrip for the help. The hotel is sincere, but the hygiene and catering services may be management problems or staff quality problems, and there are indeed many unsatisfactory ones. After Ctrip's help and feedback, the hygiene staff immediately came to improve. It is not possible to be perfect when going out, and you must be good at communicating with local staff. Chinese people are the most hardworking and down-to-earth in the world. Don't be too demanding of waiters from other countries.

Booked 2 rooms and upgraded to a corner room with views only to spend the whole stay in darkness with no views or natural light as the electric drapes were not working and multiple attempts to fix by maintenance were not succesf. Was told they were coming back to fix but when I went to reception at 7:45pm to ask why they’re not fixed I was told they determined they could not fix until a later date, Requested a room refund from Crown which was declined. Very poor experience and will be taking the request for refund further. With no natural light it was akin to staying in a large dormitory.

It seems the room has not been cleaned thoroughly. There is still dust in several areas, and the kitchen , oven and refrigerator do not appear very clean, as if they were not wiped properly. It also feels like the cleaning was done a little hastily, as I had to request garbage bags, dish soap, and cloths from reception. The hotel was what I expected, neat, clean, and overall pretty good. The staff we're great, most are Thai people, (probably the friendliest in the world 🌎) and nothing was a problem.... I did find the location...not ideal for what I had planned that night, (Pearl Jam at Marvel Stadium) but still, it was close enough so as not to be an issue.

First of all, the hotel does not have a reception desk. You need to contact the service staff to check in later or soon. If you don't speak English well, do your homework in advance or choose another room. Geographical environment: 8-10 minutes walk to crown business district (take a 6-year-old child). The Crown business district is full of food, shopping and casinos. There are many supermarkets in the downstairs for a minute or two. You can buy food and cook, and provide daily living supplies. Very convenient. Room facilities: The hotel is a bit like a homestay. In a comprehensive apartment. You need to swipe the magnetic card to get in and out, which is relatively safe. The overall space is large, but both bedrooms are 1.5 meters small beds. The kitchen has pans, cutlery, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. But there is no seasoning. Cooking a light meal should be OK. Due to the folklore nature, there is no daily cleaning service. There is a swimming pool in the building. Parking charges, $ 25 a day. Just come in and out. Friends who drive are highly recommended. City parking is too expensive. It's a good deal to take a taxi. Disadvantages: 1. Give Ctrip. When booking, it was not marked clearly, I thought there was a hotel with a front desk. Stupidly arrived and found out that it was a homestay type. The current homeowner couldn't get through to the phone, and there was no place to stop and jump straight. Later, the host came and said that Ctrip only told us to check in at 5 o'clock, and did not give the host the contact information, so he was not prepared. Check-in at five is my time for Ctrip, but we flew from Brisbane, that is only approximate time. If Ctrip protects my personal privacy, I will not give the owner contact information, but at least I have to contact me Tell me how to check in, let me contact the owner in advance! !! 2. The overall health of the room is ok, but the smell is really bad. It feels like a guest cooking too much. Hope you can do a good job of ventilation.
