If you're not particularly fond of this somewhat quirky decor, I'd suggest reconsidering. However, for a unique travel experience, this hotel is definitely a plus. 4. There are three Michelin-starred restaurants right on the hotel's upper floors, making it very convenient for food lovers. Cons: No significant issues with the hotel. Worth staying, haha!

I booked this room for 2300 a night with a friend. I saw some bloggers on Xiaohongshu saying the rooms were small and the ceilings were low, but honestly, it wasn't too bad (maybe because it was my first time staying at a 5-star hotel, so I don't know how good other 5-stars are). I'd recommend booking an afternoon tea on Naver. After checking in, change and enjoy afternoon tea. In the evening, the lobby has a total old money vibe, perfect for photos. If you're only staying one night, I highly recommend it, especially if you can get a good price! We originally booked a room with a regular view, but the front desk offered us a Namsan view room, though it was next to the elevator. They asked if we were okay with it, and we immediately said yes. However, if you're a light sleeper, definitely don't agree to it, because from around 6 AM onwards, you can hear the elevator going up and down.

The Korean receptionist at the front desk had a terrible attitude during check-in. There was a Caucasian guest in front of me, and after he was done, the Korean man kept his head down, doing something on the computer. I waited for him to finish, but he just kept clicking away without looking up. After waiting for a while, I handed him my passport to check in. It was around 4 PM, and we wanted our two rooms on the same floor. He then started 'processing' our check-in, clicking on the computer for a very long time without any explanation. I must have stood there for at least five minutes. My friend eventually got impatient and asked him why it was taking so long, telling him to 'hurry.' Only then did he say he was arranging the floors. After that, he quickly finalized everything. One room was ready for immediate check-in, and the other was waiting to be cleaned.

My overall experience at the Conrad Seoul was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are exceptionally spacious for a Seoul hotel, with a well-designed layout clearly separating the living area (with a sofa) and the workspace. The public facilities are impeccably maintained; the 37th-floor pool is quiet and uncrowded, offering stunning city and river views while you swim. The gym is well-equipped with a great panoramic view. Breakfast offers a wide variety, from authentic Korean local dishes like abalone porridge and bibimbap to Western cuisine. The front desk and room service staff are professional and patient, with seamless English communication, and the turndown service is thoughtful and meticulous. Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, this is a top choice for luxury accommodation in Seoul.

The Shilla Seoul is by far the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during this trip to Seoul. Having had a great experience at the Jeju Shilla previously, I wanted to see how the Seoul property would compare. The bedding was comfortable, and the shower had fantastic water pressure—the kind where you can actually have a proper shower. They use Dyson hair dryers instead of the old-fashioned ones, which was quite nice. As for the service, the staff all had rather professional, practiced smiles; I just wish they could be a bit warmer to Chinese guests! I loved the smoked salmon at The Library bar—it was insanely delicious with top-notch quality, plus it came with my beloved dill! We ate it for several days in a row! The live singers, both male and female, were quite good and created a great atmosphere! However, a middle-aged male waiter with glasses at the bar was rather snobbish and treated Chinese guests differently. Also, the legendary pastries from the bakery were, in my opinion, quite mediocre. On the downside, the pillows were much too high, which could easily give you a stiff neck. The room rates have gone up a bit ridiculously. You don't need an adapter to charge your devices, and there are plenty of outlets in the room, which is a big plus! Established luxury hotels are still a safe bet, and you can see quality in the details.

Preserving the old charm. An eye-opening experience, feeling the weight of history. The ground floor has poor views, previously servant quarters. The famous 'influencer room' 1602 had a strong paint smell, couldn't even open the door. You won't see sunlight if you stay one night. But it's spacious. The spa massage was diligent but struggled to hit the right spots, the technique wasn't good. The next day I had bruises everywhere. It felt purely ceremonial, with soundproofing, lemongrass aromatherapy, and 'singing bowls' placed on the body for resonance which felt uncomfortable. Overall, it's very suitable for overly sensitive people who are bothered by sounds and smells. Aside from the spa, there's no other entertainment. However, stepping outside the resort feels like a true vacation. Don't take a taxi, just a 5-minute walk brings you to many eateries and shops. It's a small county town, so prices outside are low. The internal restaurant's prices are high, with a main course costing 260. It's better to go out and eat freshly caught seafood hotpot, just a 3-minute walk.

My family stayed in two 'Superior no window' rooms, which were quite affordable compared to other room types. The rooms were also spacious, tidy, and clean. Each room was provided with two large glass bottles of water, which was convenient. The only downside was that the breakfast buffet had limited options, and the food was just okay. Oh, and there's a free photo booth in the lobby, with two prints per room. The staff were enthusiastic and friendly. We had a slight issue with paperwork during check-in, but they tried their best to assist us. The soundproofing in the rooms was also decent. We also stayed in a 'Premier with window' room, but the window couldn't be opened. The view of Da Lat night market wasn't noisy at all.

I stayed for 3 nights from Jan 21st to 24th. On the day I checked in, I thought I had lost 700,000 Vietnamese Dong somewhere between Ho Chi Minh City and the hotel, and had completely forgotten about it. However, later the reception desk handed me an envelope containing 700,000 Dong, saying it was money I had dropped during check-in. Thanks to them, I was able to use it for my travel expenses, which was great. Thank you!

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Cons: We booked an attic room because it was the only one available with two beds and a city view. You could only stand up straight near the door; everywhere else, you had to crouch or crawl. The phone didn't work, and the porter just shrugged his shoulders. Only 2 out of 8 outlets were functional. There was no heating, and large ventilation gaps under the window made sleeping uncomfortable when it was 12°C outside, though thankfully the blankets were warm. A lot of things flew in through these gaps during the day, from mosquitoes to various bugs. By the way, there's no air conditioning for summer, just a fan. The bathroom was tiny, about 1 square meter, with the toilet and shower in the same small area (it reminded me of conditions on submarines). So, after showering, the floor was wet, and all the water flowed into the room, which had tiles instead of carpeting. Everything was old, including the faucets and toilet, which were from the last century and constantly leaked, so you'd have to sleep to those lovely sounds. Regarding food: on the first day, there was a promised buffet, albeit meager. On the second and third days, we waited 15-20 minutes for our even more meager breakfast to be brought to us. The slow elevator didn't even go to our floor. There were also renovations happening, with tiles being replaced somewhere in the hotel, so the sound of the jackhammer added to the excitement. Pros: The location – its proximity to the central streets. If you're a fan of antiques, this hotel will appeal to you. The working fireplace in the breakfast room alone is worth it. The entire building, from the facade to the interior, is designed in the style of the past one or two centuries. There are many different devices and items from those eras; you can even find old cars and motorcycles. Summary: The hotel doesn't even deserve 3 stars, let alone 4. You could stay for one night if you love historical artifacts and are willing to sacrifice comfort, but nothing more.

Where do I even begin? We extended our stay several times. During my trip I had an accident, and I can honestly say that this hotel helped me heal. Every member of the staff was so kind, caring, helpful and respectful that words are not enough to thank them. They are truly a dream team — from the reception staff, the bellboys, housekeeping, the waiters, the chef… every single person left a beautiful impression on me. The hotel is located in a dreamy place. If you are looking for peace, tranquility and beautiful views, this is definitely the place. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back and we will recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. We will miss you ❤️

We stayed for 2 nights. It's clear the hotel was once very luxurious when it was built, but unfortunately, it's rapidly falling into disrepair and its condition isn't being maintained. We had a suite with a lake view. The room was large and nice, with a big wardrobe and even an electric fireplace. However, due to humidity, the furniture was swollen, the room was damp, and the toilet smelled of sewage. The cleaning quality was poor. Breakfast was average, there wasn't even a coffee machine. We paid extra for a boat ride, which we enjoyed – it was meditative and atmospheric. We also visited the hotel's mini-zoo. We felt really sorry for the animals – skinny camels, goats crammed in large numbers into a small enclosure, and ostriches with plucked wings. One of the ostriches was carrying a girl on its back; it clearly didn't like it and was very agitated, eventually throwing her off backward at speed, right into a fence. The animals' condition was very sad. The grounds are pleasant, with lots of greenery. There's construction on the opposite bank, apparently a new hotel, with many cabins under scaffolding. This, unfortunately, spoils the whole view. The attitude towards guests was excellent. Twice, a staff member came to help me, once to catch a grasshopper and another time a huge spider in the room. They respond to every request and try their best to help with everything. Overall, we liked everything, except for the dirt, dampness, and an endless number of insects in the room.

The location is excellent, right between Da Lat Night Market and Xuan Huong Lake. You can enjoy lake views from the hotel entrance or from rooms facing the lake at any time. The hotel itself is grand, luxurious, and has a classic, antique feel. It truly makes you feel like an 18th or 19th-century French aristocrat. The garden is also beautifully maintained and opulent. Breakfast was good, and I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea starting at 2 PM. However, Da Lat mornings and evenings are cold. Even though I used the fireplace heater in my room, it was still chilly, and I ended up catching a cold. It's a good idea to bring warm clothes or pajamas for sleeping. P.S. During this stay, we booked a triple room. Worried that the kids might roll off the beds while sleeping, we pushed two of the beds together ourselves. To our surprise, the housekeeping staff noticed this arrangement the next day during cleaning and thoughtfully changed it to a large bed sheet suitable for combined beds. This completely eliminated the gap between the two beds, so we no longer had to worry about anyone getting stuck in the middle. This thoughtful gesture from the housekeeper exceeded our expectations and the attention to detail was truly heartwarming. The original showerhead in the bathroom was a bit worn out, but after we reported it to the front desk, a maintenance person came up very quickly to replace and fix it. The water flow from the new showerhead was strong, and the response time for resolving the issue was impressive. The location offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle—it's just a 7-8 minute walk to the main Myeongdong shopping district, and Gyeongbokgung Palace is only two or three subway stops away. There are a few convenience stores right downstairs, which is very convenient. Finally, they even helped me find my lost plush toy, and I was able to arrange a courier service for it myself. The breakfast was also good and very delicious.

We stayed at Aloft by Marriott Myeongdong for 5 nights. The location is unbeatable - convenient 5 mins walk to the main Myeongdong shopping and eating area. Around 7 minutes walk to Lotte Department Store and Shinsegae. The staff at front desk are all very courteous and nice. The rooms are clean and tidy. One thing though they will not touch our personal things in the bathroom, such as my hair curler was laying on top of some dirty towels and upon returning to my room, my curler and the dirty towels were left at the same spot. But their service is excellent - the first night we stayed the air-con was too hot and changing the thermostat did not work. So we called reception and stated the issue. They promptly sent a technician up to help fix the air-con, which afterwards worked fine, and the rooms were cool and we all slept very well. There's not a whole lot of facilities except a small gym though. Overall, a very nice stay at this hotel where the staff are attentive and nice, and they all speak fluent English. We'd choose this hotel again on our next stay in Seoul.

The Stanford Hotel Myeongdong boasts an excellent location. It's just a few minutes' walk to Euljiro 1(il)-ga Subway Station, which is on Line 2 and connects to Line 4 for Myeongdong Station and Seoul Station. Myeongdong Shopping Street is right downstairs, making dining, shopping, and getting around incredibly convenient. The airport limousine bus stop is also close by, located right in front of the Ibis Hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and well-lit, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views. The bedding was comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly, and there was even an uncle who spoke Chinese, making communication very smooth. The hotel is well-equipped with amenities like a laundry room and a gym. The only minor drawback is that the room is a bit small; it was a little inconvenient to walk around once we had two 24-inch suitcases open. Overall, it offers great value for money. If you're visiting Seoul and prioritize convenience, I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 10-minute walk to Dongdaemun APM, and only a few minutes' walk to subway lines 2 and 5. Nearby, you'll find CU, GS25, and Coop supermarkets practically at your doorstep, along with three Olive Young stores and even an e-cigarette shop. There are also plenty of dining options, including fried chicken, soup, and Korean BBQ. The hotel reception is on the 3rd floor, and they can speak simple Chinese. The lobby offers free coffee and water. On the 3rd floor, there's a self-service laundry room for 4,000 KRW per use, and further inside, a self-service luggage storage area. The room was cleaned daily, and my stay was very quiet and comfortable! I missed the weekend, so the price was much cheaper, about a third of the weekend rate – hotels in Seoul are truly expensive on weekends!

I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong for one night before flying out of ICN. My only requirement was that the hotel have easy access to the airport limousine route. While there is a stop a few steps from the hotel, we found that, given the time of our flight the following morning, we ultimately needed to use a different stop. We trekked the extra 10 minutes in the morning with our luggage, which was less than ideal, but ultimately worked out fine. The hotel was easy to access, tucked into a quiet corner of Myeongdong. While we arrived quite late in the evening, the staff was glad to receive us. The check-in instructions were simple and easy. We received a room on the 20th (I think) floor with a lovely view of the city. It was clean and well-appointed with space for four suitcases, which was necessary as we prepared to depart Korea with many new purchases. The famous Myeongdong walking street was only a 7-minute walk away, which is a major selling point. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a solo traveler, a pair, or a couple. The room is small, but clean, and the location is prime.

The room was great, located on the 23rd floor with a stunning lake view. When I booked, I selected a three-person meal option for two adults and one child. The price for a two-person meal and a three-person meal was different at the time of booking. However, upon arrival, the hotel informed me that one of the meals in my three-person package was a complimentary children's meal. Since my child is 13 years old, exceeding the 12-year age limit, they were not eligible for the free buffet breakfast, and I was asked to pay. To avoid disrupting our travel plans and mood, I paid for the meal. However, I find this explanation completely unacceptable. I purchased a three-person meal package, but at the hotel, it was treated as if I bought two meals and received one free. If I had known it was a complimentary meal from the hotel, why would I not just book the two-person meal package and save some money?! I urge Trip.com and the hotel to communicate and provide a satisfactory resolution.
