The location is excellent, making it very convenient to reach all attractions by subway.
Upon check-in, an additional destination fee of $41 per night was required. This fee could be used towards purchases at the 8th-floor restaurant and the rooftop view restaurant, but the $41 credit was non-cumulative and had to be utilized daily. The outcome was that no matter how we tried to maximize it, we always ended up spending a few extra dollars each day. This destination fee truly felt like a trap: a shame to waste, but using it still meant additional expenses.
Purified water was available on the 8th floor, allowing guests to fill their own bottles. Moreover, the room rate included one complimentary hotel perk voucher per night. During our stay, the perk was a choice of three options: a hop-on hop-off double-decker bus tour, entry to the Natural History Museum, or the Wax Museum.
Finally, I must complain about the hotel's amenities. The bedsheets were torn, and the towels were old and worn. This completely shattered my perception of the Marriott brand.
Then, there was the final billing process. The hotel's policy was to process payment first, then provide a detailed bill. The issue I encountered was that after paying by credit card, the bill surprisingly included an extra day's destination fee. After I reported this to the front desk, the recalculated bill then *undercharged* me for one day. I truly question if this is a problem with the hotel's billing system or simply human error. My son and I had the most incredible experience! I would recommend the William Vale to all my friends and family. The balcony views at sunset in the summer are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself offers many thoughtful amenities including a welcome message with your name on the television upon arrival. I honestly only have one small complaint and that was the cleaning service. We called about having the room cleaned and actually spoke with the individual who said she would come back at the time we requested but she never returned. Other than that one little hiccup everything went smoothly from the time we pulled up to valet to unload our luggage. I booked a two-day stay at this 5-star hotel through Trip.com, and its quality certainly lives up to expectations. First, let's talk about the location. It's right across the street from Exit 8 of Metro Line 2, very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel is also directly connected to the New World Department Store, making it super convenient to get to Madame Tussauds. Next, the service. The attention to detail really showcases its high quality. Since Shanghai was quite cold in February, the hotel had already pre-heated the room, so it was wonderfully warm when I walked in. The housekeeping staff were very meticulous and responsible. From check-in to luggage storage and even the greeting at the entrance, everything was incredibly professional. In my free time, I browsed through the Radisson guide, and the content and details inside further highlighted the professionalism of the hotel's overall service. Regarding the facilities, some of them are a bit old, but it doesn't affect their functionality. The TV is indeed a bit small, which impacts the viewing experience. However, the bed was silent, and the toiletries, towels, dental kits, slippers, hairdryer, and mini-fridge were all brand new. My overall impression is that they don't cut corners on new items, and the older equipment doesn't detract from the overall experience. Because I mentioned wanting a quiet area in advance, the view from my room wasn't anything special. However, if you choose a room facing Nanjing Road or People's Park, I imagine the visual experience would be excellent. The front desk staff were warm and helpful during check-in and check-out, making for a pleasant experience.
The room cards have a sleek design with a matte, non-slip backing that feels good to the touch. We were given two cards, which was convenient for separate entry and exit, and the power-saving card was already inserted in the room, so no extra steps were needed.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, with separate Chinese and Western sections that you could choose from freely. However, the two sections were a bit far apart, requiring a walk back and forth if you wanted to get items from both.
We booked an Executive Bund View King Room (on floors 25-30) and were assigned a corner room on the 26th floor. The room was spacious and very clean. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers, easily accommodating four outfits, and there was even space on the left for ironing.
However, there were a few drawbacks: a moth flew out from behind the headboard as I approached it, some facilities seemed a bit dated, and the indoor lighting was a bit dim.
Additionally, despite being called a “Bund View Room,” the window primarily faced the city, with only a small section near the TV wall offering a view of the Bund and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Furthermore, the curtain on the right side was fixed at the top and could only be pulled towards the corner, meaning the section by the TV wall couldn't be opened. To enjoy the Bund night view, I had to walk behind the curtain or manually pull it aside, which made the viewing experience somewhat inconvenient.DariCAD 172

The hotel’s location is very good. It is about a 5-minute walk to a huge Starbucks, Nanjing West Road, the MRT station, and Wujiang Road, which has several nice bakeries and food options. This made getting around very convenient. There was also a 7-11 just across the road.
However, the Premier Two-Bedroom Suite was disappointing for the price paid. The rooms are rather small, especially the master bedroom, where there was not enough space to place or open any luggage. We had to keep our luggage in the living room instead.
The bathroom, particularly the shower area, looked very dated. The tiles appeared old and there was a musty smell, which was unpleasant. Another inconvenience was that the light switches were only on one side of the bed, making it very inconvenient to switch off the lights from the other side.
The kitchenette was also very small. Cutlery was stored in a drawer above the bin, which was not ideal, and there were no extra plates provided. The tiles looked old with visible cracks, and some of the drawers were faulty. Overall, the room did not feel premium and felt overpriced for what was offered. The hotel rooms clearly need a glow-up to match the Kempinski brand and the rates charged.
Additionally, the reception area was undergoing renovation, with no seating or waiting area. The pick-up and drop-off driveway is very narrow, only a small lane. When loading our luggage, we had to do so very quickly as other cars were waiting. The driveway would benefit from being more spacious.

The hotel is located right in the middle of high rises in the financial district. While vicinity to metro, pier, restaurants etc is very pleasant, it's also super confusing to get to and feels a bit claustrophobic.
The room was nice as such, a lot smaller than the previous hotel I stayed in in NYC (no seating option except the desk chair here). Housekeeping seems a bit unorganized; I stayed two nights and on the day I spent in NYC completely and left the hotel around 10am for sightseeing, returning around 5pm, no room service had been done at all. On the next day, when I was due to check out, housekeeping knocked on my door at around 9am when I was still in the shower.

The location of the Holiday Inn is excellent. It's situated between Sixth and Seventh Avenue, making it easy to walk to the subway station and Times Square. If you're in a hurry, you can also take it to go.
The most unforgettable person for me was Ms. Nadine. She helped me get back the passports for me and my family. I forgot to take the passports out of the safe when I checked out, and I only remembered when I was about to leave New York after spending the whole day out. I rushed back to the hotel and, in my panic, I told her the wrong room number. Ms. Nadine was very patient and compassionate; she let me go up with her to check. Cara memohon Visa China

Apabila rakyat Malaysia memohon visa Cina, langkah utama adalah seperti berikut:
1.Tentukan jenis visa:
- Visa pelancong (visa L): Jika anda melancong ke China, mohon visa L. Bahan jadual perjalanan seperti tiket penerbangan pergi balik dan tempahan hotel, atau surat jemputan daripada unit atau individu di China diperlukan.
- Visa perniagaan (Visa M): Mereka yang ingin pergi ke China untuk menjalankan aktiviti perniagaan dan perdagangan mesti menyediakan dokumen aktiviti perniagaan, jemputan pameran ekonomi dan perdagangan serta surat jemputan lain yang dikeluarkan oleh rakan dagang di China.
- Visa pelawat( Q1,Q2,S1,S2)
- Visa kerja (visa Z): Mereka yang bekerja di China perlu memberikan "Notis Permit Kerja Warga Asing" atau "Permit Kerja Warga Asing" yang asal.
- Visa belajar (visa X)
- Visa wartawan (visa J)
2.Isi borang permohonan secara online:
Log masuk ke laman web Pusat Perkhidmatan Permohonan Visa Cina (https://bio.visaforchina.cn/kul3_en/) untuk mengisi borang permohonan visa dalam talian, memuat naik bahan permohonan seperti yang diperlukan, tandatangan pada halaman pengesahan dan perkara 9 borang dan cetak halaman yang sepadan (jumlah 2 halaman) ).
3.Sediakan bahan permohonan:
- Pasport: Pasport asal dengan tempoh sah lebih daripada 6 bulan dan halaman visa kosong dan salinan halaman foto dan data pasport.
- Borang permohonan visa dan gambar: 1 salinan borang permohonan visa yang diisi dalam talian (cetak halaman pengesahan dan halaman yang sepadan dengan perkara 9 borang) dan 1 gambar dimuat naik dalam borang permohonan.
- Bukti tinggal atau kediaman yang sah (terpakai kepada mereka yang tidak memohon visa di negara kewarganegaraan): Jika anda tidak memohon visa di negara kewarganegaraan, anda perlu memberikan sijil sah tinggal sah, kediaman , bekerja, dan belajar di Malaysia atau asal dan salinan visa yang sah.

4.Hantar permohonan anda:
Selepas status pesanan pada halaman permohonan dipaparkan sebagai "Pasport menunggu penyerahan", saya akan menyerahkan permohonan saya ke Pusat Perkhidmatan Permohonan Visa Cina di Kuala Lumpur bersama pasport dan bahan permohonan visa saya yang lain, dan menyimpan sepuluh cap jari saya.
5.Menunggu kelulusan:

Berapakah kos visa China
Mengikut langkah sementara dari 11 Disember 2023 hingga 31 Disember 2024, kedutaan dan konsulat China di luar negara mengenakan yuran visa untuk melawat China pada 75% daripada piawaian yuran semasa. - Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 289;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 335.
Permohonan dipercepatkan:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 380;
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 412;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 470;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 615.
Permohonan segera:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 505;
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 545;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 585;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 650.
Yuran di atas adalah untuk rujukan sahaja Yuran khusus mungkin berbeza-beza disebabkan oleh turun naik kadar pertukaran, pelarasan polisi dan keadaan khusus permohonan. Adalah disyorkan untuk berunding dengan Kedutaan atau Konsulat China di Malaysia atau pusat permohonan visa yang berkaitan untuk mendapatkan maklumat bayaran yang tepat sebelum memohon visa.
Berapa lama masa yang diperlukan untuk memohon visa China?
