Overall, I had a good stay and I continue to choose this hotel because I’ve stayed here before and genuinely like it. The rooms, location, and overall experience are still very pleasant.
However, the check-in process this time was honestly quite horrendous. The wait was extremely long, and I noticed each guest took around 10-15 minutes to be processed. It also seemed that some staff were unsure of the procedures, which made the whole process feel very inefficient. For me it took almost 30 minutes of waiting time!😭
I hope the hotel management can review the workflow and see what can be done to smoothen and streamline the check-in, as this was the only part that really affected the experience.

Initially booked this hotel is because wanting to try the Gem Spa, as previously I tried their other outlet which was very good. But sadly due to time constraints, we didn't manage to go the spa.
What I like about this hotel is, there is a hard rock within the hotel. So if you do not want to travel 15mins out, then you can actually chill and eat there.
The room is cosy but sadly that even I had booked the sea view, the view was not directly. I was allocated a room that faced the road and far right is the sea. But the plus point is I have a bathtub.

This guesthouse is incredibly unique and full of character. I never expected to find something like this in JB! It's quite true to the pictures, though the photos have a stronger ambiance and make it look newer than it is; in reality, some of the in-room facilities are a bit old.
The ceilings are high and the balcony is very spacious, offering views of the sea, Singapore, and Malaysia simultaneously. The guesthouse is located in a high-end residential building, with excellent security downstairs and very good service. You need to pick up the key from the mezzanine floor beforehand, which is quite convenient. Each room comes with a free parking space, so parking is very easy.
However, it does suffer from the common guesthouse issue of poor sound insulation. It seems like a whole apartment has been divided into two, as we could always hear sounds from next door. Also, the projector's clarity was very low. And the toilet paper quality was quite poor; it would be great if conditioner could also be provided. The host's responses on WhatsApp were pretty prompt, and most issues were dealt with immediately.
Overall, it's very well-designed and quite quirky, definitely worth a stay. But for this price point, I would hope for better quality in some of the amenities.DariPLN 352

This property's location is one of its strongest selling points, with a plethora of dining options nearby and KSL just a short walk away. The unit itself is clean and well-maintained, with fresh linens, towels, and pillows.
Unfortunately, our stay was not without its issues. The unit's high floor did not translate to impressive views, as they were blocked by neighboring units.
The bathrooms, particularly the master bedroom, had a noticeable sewage smell that lingered even with the door closed. The water heater was also problematic, leaking and producing loud noises when in use. Other issues included a faulty toilet door lock in the master bedroom and poor water flow on the toilet flooring, resulting in water accumulation. The shower form provided is labelled as dishwasher.

Stayed quite a couple of times and it was good but was quite disappointed for this trip.
Check-in time was stated as 3:00 PM, but upon arrival we were informed that the room was still being cleaned, causing a delay. About 15 minutes later, we were told we could proceed to the room.
However, when we entered, the room door was half open and there were shoes inside, clearly indicating that the previous guests had not fully checked out.
We immediately raised this with the management and they said they will send a cleaner down but there was still no cleaner after 10 minutes.
When we asked when we could properly check in, no definite timing was given. The only response was to let us know once if is ready and given a offer of a late check-out extension. We only managed to check in an hour later at 4:15pm.
Other than that, location and amenities wise is good.
