The hotel's location is excellent; it's right across the road from the Johor Bahru checkpoint, just through the mall. There's also Haidilao downstairs, along with various cafes and bakeries. The hotel room was spacious enough. However, the only downside, and a very disappointing one, is the extremely poor soundproofing! There's a connecting door within the room that's shoddily sealed. We could hear everything from the next room, and even see the light through the door gap. If someone with ill intent were to spread a virus or something similar, it could easily lead to terrible consequences. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also incredibly unstable, disconnecting every five minutes, which was extremely frustrating. The hotel breakfast was also very unappetizing. Please choose carefully.DariMYR 294

Capri JB has always been my choice to stay and this is the 1st time ever, it miserably failed in terms of customer service, all thanks to Ishamudin.
The check in queue was already long when we arrived. Took 20mins to be attended. When Ishamudin served us, his replies were curt, not helpful & dismissive (snatched my sister's passport right out of her hand instead of asking for it nicely)
He then said only 1 room was ready as we wanted all 3 rooms to be on same floor (we booked 3 rooms btw) and it was already 4.30pm. So he said if we all are going out, then when we come back the other 2 rooms will be ready by then.
I then said, it doesn't matter if the rooms are on the same floor, as long as all 3 rooms are ready now (cos we are all tired & sweaty and just wanted to rest).
He then snatched my sister's passport out of her hand. Made a call, stared on the computer screen then 5 mins later, just curtly placed 2 room cards on the counter. Without explaining anything, of course I had to ask questions like ”when will the 3rd room be ready?” , ”how will you be informing us when the 3rd room is ready?”, etc
I had to ask questions instead of Ishamudin explaining what's going on. Ishamudin then said he will call 1 of the rooms to notify when the 3rd room is ready. Guess what?? At 5.40pm, I had to call the reception to check and find out myself! Asked for Ishamudin & guess what? He was already out from his shift!
Explained to the reception & a nice Indian gentleman (sorry didn't get his name) came up to my room (instead of collecting it down at recep) & handed the 3rd room card. Now, that was customer service!
Ishamudin could have said ”Sorry, the rooms are not available right now but once ready, I will send someone up to send u the 3rd room card” etc If Ishamudin has no passion to serve, please put him somewhere else. The least he could do is smile (which he didn't at all).DariMYR 389

If you like a quiet, cosy place that give you a resort feel, then this hotel will be a good choice.
Initially booked this hotel is because wanting to try the Gem Spa, as previously I tried their other outlet which was very good. But sadly due to time constraints, we didn't manage to go the spa.
What I like about this hotel is, there is a hard rock within the hotel. So if you do not want to travel 15mins out, then you can actually chill and eat there.
The room is cosy but sadly that even I had booked the sea view, the view was not directly. I was allocated a room that faced the road and far right is the sea. But the plus point is I have a bathtub.

This property's location is one of its strongest selling points, with a plethora of dining options nearby and KSL just a short walk away. The unit itself is clean and well-maintained, with fresh linens, towels, and pillows.
Unfortunately, our stay was not without its issues. The unit's high floor did not translate to impressive views, as they were blocked by neighboring units.
The bathrooms, particularly the master bedroom, had a noticeable sewage smell that lingered even with the door closed. The water heater was also problematic, leaking and producing loud noises when in use. Other issues included a faulty toilet door lock in the master bedroom and poor water flow on the toilet flooring, resulting in water accumulation. The shower form provided is labelled as dishwasher.

Love the place, it’s big, cozy and comfy. Good for a short stay. Cleanliness wise my bed got like a damp smell but I usually bring my own room spray so not a big issue. But honestly for the price, it was acceptable. Slept like a baby. Recommend for non fussy solo people.

A simple hotel with an okay location for us since we were driving. Parking was convenient—right in front of the hotel—and there seemed to be enough space. In terms of cleanliness, it was average.
