Slightly away from the city center room we’re decent and spacious. Basic amenities but for the same price, a hotel might be a better deal. For golfers and family who preferred nature over convenience might be ideal.

The hotel's exterior is new and fresh, and the room is bright and comfortable with a modern, 'cyber' design. The toilet in the bathroom is state-of-the-art, and the in-room electronic system is very convenient to use. The lobby staff were all smiles, attentive, and friendly. The hotel is located near the city center, less than a ten-minute drive away, which is very convenient. For Ipoh, Malaysia, this hotel is definitely a five-star experience. Highly recommended!

The exterior is pretty grand for first impression. Security Guard is super friendly and helpful. Do keep this up. We arrived after 10pm and we have to checked in with the help of a security guard as the receptionist closes at 10pm, but all good. Location wise, a drive/ grab is necessary for all foodies. The infinity pool was amazing, overlooking the polo ground. Suppose to have a cafe and kopitiam at the top floor, but since this condo project is still new, it is still not operating yet. Maybe my next visit. Interior of the room is spacious, there's NETFLIX, YOUTUBE and etc. Fridge, microwave and kitchen utilities, Hair dryer, iron. Floor not so clean though - rather dusty. we booked a unit with 2 rooms (1 room with 2 twin bed and 1 room with Q bed). No private bathroom in the bedroom though, only one bathroom. The Bathroom drain hole was clogged during our stay. Therefore, the draining was a bit slow, and it causes mini flood inside the bathroom. Things to improve (in my opinion, that is): 1. to add an extra latch at the entrance door for extra safety, I will not have a peaceful sleep if I am staying alone though. 2. Only have one bedside table. would be nice to have another bedside table so I don't have to place my things on the floor. 3. Dressing table inside the main room not to be placed facing the bed for feng shui purpose (just saying) Overall, I had a nice stay here and the bed is so comfortable. I had a good rest though.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Since it is a new building, some floors are still under renovation. This was my first experience having a blackout while showering at night. I tried to contact the agency, but there were no staff available, so the only solution offered was a room change. We had to spend extra time moving all our belongings to another floor. One suggestion is to consider waiving the deposit requirement, or for the agent to contact guests one day before check-in to reconfirm the booking and deposit payment. I had already submitted my deposit before check-in, but the agency may have missed my message. I only received the entry QR code after being stopped and questioned by the security guard, which made the experience stressful.

First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back. P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China.

Stayed at Travelodge Ipoh and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was a bit small, but still cozy enough for a good sleep. The facilities were good too — the gym and swimming pool are free to use and quite standard for a comfortable stay. One of the best parts was the breakfast, with so many types of food and choices available. Another plus point is the free parking provided for hotel guests, which made everything more convenient. Overall, a good stay and worth considering when visiting Ipoh!

The hotel arranged for us to stay in a corner room which has weak WiFi access. I didn't have WiFi for the entire three nights stay. Furthermore, the bed was rather hard and the room was rather small. However, the hotel provides excellent breakfast and is located at a very strategic location. The hotel is very close to the Ipoh parade and within 10 mins drive to famous tourist spots like concubine lane. Overall, the experience was just alright.

Ipoh Excelsior Hotel 1. The location is excellent, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. For its prime location, it offers great value for money. 2. The hotel staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful with their service. 3. Breakfast was decent, though most of the food was spicy. If you don't eat spicy food, your options will be limited, and there was only one type of vegetable. A special touch was the ice cream served at breakfast, which I'm sure kids would love. 4. The bed felt quite old and wasn't very comfortable. The bathroom, in particular, had many 'traps' on the floor – you could easily slip if not careful. 5. There were no small hand towels in the bathroom. After washing my hands, I had to either use a bath towel or toilet paper, which ended up leaving paper bits all over my hands, forcing me to re-wash them. 6. The hotel didn't even have a basic first-aid kit. I accidentally cut my hand and bled, and when I asked staff for a plaster, they surprisingly told me they didn't have any!

The room is not properly maintained. The basin is clogged, the bathroom is mouldy, and the air conditioner is leaking water, which made my luggage, luggage rack, kettle, and phone wet.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Kinta during my recent trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located in a very convenient area—easy access to shops and food spots nearby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The highlight of the trip was definitely the buka puasa experience. The atmosphere felt like the classic P. Ramlee & Saloma era—very lively and nostalgic. There was a live band and DJ that made the night even more happening, and the hotel staff really entertained the guests which made the whole experience feel warm and memorable. Special shoutout to Prem, Adji, Feri & Zack for the great hospitality and fun vibes throughout the night. They truly made the buka puasa experience more meriah and enjoyable. 🌙✨ Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting and looking for a place with good vibes during Ramadan.

I researched a lot of hotels in Ipoh. Most hotels are spread out around the Ipoh “downtown”. If you’re arriving on a bus from KL, the bus terminal Amanjaya is 9km away. 20 mins on the local bus will take you to Terminal Kidd and it’s a 15 mins walk to M Boutique. I wouldn’t suggest this option if you have a lot of suitcases as the walk is on the main roads with cars and truck zipping past. Location is surrounded by industrial and car dealerships, but once arrived you’re surprised! They live up to their name - Boutique! They have been in that location for 13 years. Staff are friendly and helpful! Room (single room with no windows) was clean and comfortable and provided the amenities after a long day on the bus. And the hotel - SMELLED nice. Like a high end hotel. It was a nice treat if you’re a solo traveler looking for comfort on a budget. I tried to extend an extra night, however Trip were only showing double and twin rooms - out of my budget for a solo traveler. Asking at reception if the single room was available, they checked and I paid directly to hotel for a 2nd night. Your loss Trip! Hotel amenities were great. Hot shower, WiFi and air conditioning working. It’s a 10-15 min walk to the old city. When I arrived around 4 PM, a lot of things are already closed and quiet. Walking around in the dark back to the hotel was a little uneasy, but you can easily just arrange a car to GRAB. Highly recommended!

Good Budget Stay in Ipoh After a long drive, I chose Ritz Garden Hotel Ipoh for a short rest. The hotel is centrally located near Ipoh city and heritage attractions. Early morning check-in was smooth, and the staff were helpful in guiding parking at the back of the building. The lobby looks nice, and free parking is provided via an internal sky bridge. The room was clean with no unpleasant smell. Although there was no window and soundproofing was average, the lighting, air conditioning, and bed were comfortable enough for a good rest. The bathroom was clean with good hot water pressure. Heated water and drinking water were provided for coffee, along with complete basic toiletries. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but facilities like a swimming pool and gym are available. Karaoke facilities did not disturb the stay. Overall, a good value-for-money option for budget travelers or short stays in Ipoh.

It's a good hotel. Location is next to a big road close to the Chinese street with great food and not a long Grab ride from the centre. However, walking by the big road isn't great. Hotel is well taken care of, although there are many tiny issues that could be pointed out. However, room was clean and spacious and place was friendly and it was a happy stay. The only thing I'll mention is the coffee. I'm a person who can drink almost anything, but the brew served at this hotel was really not up to my taste. Perhaps somebody likes coffee like this, who knows.

Lokasi mmg sgt strategik if nak ronda2 kawasan Concubine Lane, Funtasy Trick, 22 Hale Street Museum, Platform Half, Gabriel Cafe, Pekan Lama Cafe dll. Just around the corner sahaja. Mike Pizza, Rojak Padang, Nasi Ayam Taugeh dan lain lain. Untuk mereka yg travel gunakan train n bus, sesuai sgt. If nak travel ke Tasik Cermin, Gunung Lang bagai, kena ada transport sendiri. The staff is friendly. Ada cerek letrik, tapi kena beli 3in1 kalau tgh malam rasa nak minum. Malam, mmg x der apa lah. Kalau nak g Gerbang Malam, boleh je jalan kaki dlm 27 mins kalau rasa larat la. But for my family, kami rela jalan kaki walau jauh. Dpt menikmati view malam yg kosong dan view siang yg menyesakkan. Kami stay at family room with double queen bed. Walau bilik sedikit sempit but still comfortable. Bukan nak duduk bilik sepanjang masa right? Bilik air luas sgt, boleh masuk la 5/6 orang dalam tu. Keadaan bau tu, bg kami ok je ala2 macam bau lama, bangunan lama. Especially kat lif. Dlm bilik x dak bau yg kurang menyenangkan. Selesa. Iron, disediakan depan lif. Yes, hotel ni ada lif. Bg yg x larat nak angkut beg beso naik turun tangga, jgn risau. Ada jam beso yg cukup time berbunyi. Nak jalan ke ets amik masa dlm 15-20 mins. Kalau dr stesen bas Jalan Bendahara, dalam 27 mins. We prefer berjalan je semua. Baru feel ala2 tourist di negara sendiri.

Understanding the Weather in Cameron Highlands

The Overall Climate

The weather in Cameron Highlands is best described as a tropical highland climate. Unlike the typical tropical climate in the rest of Malaysia, Cameron Highlands enjoys a much cooler temperature throughout the year, with an average high of about 22°C and a low of around 14°C. This soothing climate, akin to a spring-like weather, is one of the main reasons why so many people visit this beautiful hill station.

Seasonal Variations

The weather in Cameron Highlands can be divided into two primary seasons: the **dry season** and the wet season.

Dry Season (February to April, July to August)

The dry season in Cameron Highlands is marked by minimal rainfall, clear skies, and beautiful sunshine. The temperature remains pleasantly cool, providing an excellent opportunity for outdoor activities like hiking, exploring the tea plantations, and visiting the strawberry farms.

Even in the wet season, there's a certain charm as the rain enhances the greenery and makes the landscapes appear more vibrant.
