The room was really fantastic—very spacious with a well-designed layout, and the bed was super comfortable with just the right firmness. I must give a special shout-out to the front desk service; they tried their best to accommodate all our requests 👍 and had a wonderful attitude. The breakfast had a decent variety and plenty of options. There weren't many Chinese dishes, but the Western selection was extensive and more than enough! The Thai milk tea was delicious, and the egg station was located just outside the restaurant, offering omelets, sunny-side-up eggs, tea eggs, and soft-boiled eggs 😊, alongside congee and noodles. As for the location, you need to take a taxi to nearby malls, but it's very convenient—just a 5-10 minute ride, and fares in Malaysia are quite cheap. I would definitely stay here again next time!

I like that the hotel is very near to a few malls, walking distance, ie Komtar and City Square. What's more, its very near to local, small yet cosy and affordable food stalls. And a number of grocery shops are just a few steps away.. The hotel staff were very kind that we were allowed to check in 1 hr earlier! Its supposed to be at 2pm but we were given our room at 1pm, hence we managed to rest for a little bit before we go out again. And the staff are all very nice, friendly and corteous..esp the lady who checked us in on Tue, 8/9/2026. Unfortunately I forgot her name!🙏👏👏👍Thank you!

At least 8 out of 10 starts for this experience. Pros: Excellent location, right above the R&F mall. Kitchen is complete with adequate kitchenware. Comfortable stay for a 1-bedroom apartment. Felt very cosy (attached photo). Easy enough to check in and out following whatsapp directions for the mailbox. Customer service was responsive with my questions. Also the price for 1 night was excellent at only about $61 SGD, and this seems to be the cheapest among all 1 bedroom offerings on Trip.com for R&F Princess Cove. Cons: On a minor note, air-conditioner in the living room was a bit loud (some noise) but otherwise worked fine. I did not use the oven in the kitchen but there was a sign saying it was not to be used. The most unfortunate part of the stay was small bugs/cockroaches in the kitchen/toilet area, I otherwise would have given it a 10/10 for my stay there. I don't believe it is a hygiene issue though as the rooms were observed to be clean, not sure where the bugs are coming from but there is spray provided.

The location is near the border crossing, which is convenient since I arrived late in Malaysia from Singapore. It's only about a 10-minute walk. The service, however, was terrible. When I checked in, the front desk staff told me I had to pay a 10 ringgit tax per night. I was pretty sure I had already paid, so I contacted Trip.com to confirm, and they told me I didn't need to pay it. I sorted it out with the staff and managed to check in. But then, in the early hours of the morning, someone suddenly entered my room without knocking, pulled up the blinds without permission, and started arguing loudly. They saw me in my underwear but didn't seem to care. It was a truly embarrassing and humiliating experience.

Before checking in, I communicated with the front desk and was able to check in early without any hassle, which saved me the trouble of dragging my luggage around. This was particularly thoughtful. The room was much larger than I expected, with an open and unconfining space. The twin room layout was very comfortable, and there was a leisure sofa by the window where I could relax and enjoy the river and city views. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the facilities were well-maintained, making the overall impression clean and tidy. I especially want to commend the staff member Basravi. Their service attitude was excellent, they patiently answered all my questions, and handled things efficiently, leaving a great impression. The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore's location is also convenient, with river views right outside the window, making it easy to get around and explore. Overall, my stay was very comfortable, and I would consider this hotel again next time I visit Singapore.

The hotel's facilities and services were impeccable. It was my mother's birthday during our stay, and they surprised her with a cake and upgraded our room to a suite, which I found incredibly touching. The infinity pool experience was superb; although we couldn't see the sunset due to hazy weather, the night view was absolutely captivating. We also visited the pool the next morning, and since there were very few people, I was able to swim without any obstructions for a long time, feeling like I had the entire massive infinity pool to myself. Greater than I expected! ❤️ I had a really good stay at Travelodge Harbourfront Singapore, and honestly, the hotel was greater than I expected. First, let’s talk about the location. It’s located just opposite VivoCity, so everything is really convenient. The MRT station is about a 5-minute walk away, and if you’re looking for breakfast or a quick meal, you can easily walk over to VivoCity. There’s even a linkway connecting the hotel to the mall, which makes getting around so easy, especially after a long day outside. The lobby is cozy and comfortable, with plenty of seating areas. The staff were also really nice and welcoming. I was especially glad that they kindly offered us an early check-in, which was really helpful. The room is small, but honestly, it was good enough for two people. The highlight for me was definitely the bed — SO comfortable! I slept really well every night after a long day of walking around Singapore. I also liked that the bathroom separates the dry and wet areas. And the shower pressure was surprisingly strong! After being out the whole day, having a good hot shower was one of the little things I really enjoyed. They also provide bottled water, disposable slippers, coffee and tea, as well as some basic necessities tucked away in the drawers, which was convenient. Overall, I had a really comfortable and pleasant stay here. I especially loved how comfy the bed was — after a long day out, coming back to a comfortable room and a good shower was exactly what I needed. ❤️ Would definitely consider staying here again the next time I’m in Singapore!

THIS HOTEL IS CYLINDRICAL BECAUSE THEY'VE CUT EVERY CORNER! I really wanted to like this hotel. The location is excellent and the pool and surrounding gardens are genuinely lovely. Unfortunately, what started out as a promising stay (from the photos) turned into one of the most unsettling hotel experiences I've ever had. On my second night, at around 10pm, I encountered two men entering the rooftop pool on the 3rd floor. They asked me to hold the door open as I was returning to my room next door after a moonlit swim because they were laden with several carrier bags. I thought they were staff. The following morning, around 8am, I returned for a sunrise swim and recognised the same two men. They appeared to have spent the night sleeping on the sun loungers. They were smoking and drinking - polishing off an entire bottle of whisky at around 10am. There was no staff presence and seemingly nobody had checked the pool area for approximately 12 hours. I didn't feel safe swimming and reported what I had found to reception. Rather than feeling reassured, I was interrogated by reception staff and told there was no manager on duty. Their reaction was remarkably casual - they seemed fairly nonplussed, simply saying, ”We'll send someone up.” What concerned me most is that the lifts are not guest-card activated, meaning anyone entering the bustling hotel lobby can gain access to all guest floors. My room was on the third floor, adjacent to the pool. I later asked reception about the men. ”Oh yes, they're gone now.” No apparent apology, concern or urgency and still no manager available. When I left the following day, I specifically asked to speak to a manager and, once again, there was nobody on duty. Unfortunately, lax security and two unidentified men bedding down for the night at the pool wasn't the only problem. The thin mattress was so old and worn that the coiled springs were digging into my back, hips and elbows. The bedding was a scratchy brown blanket rather than a proper duvet. An enormous construction site next door started work at exactly 8am every day. The pool itself has seen better days. The sun loungers were worn, tired, smelly and in need of replacement. Even the blue pool slide advertised by the hotel was bone dry and completely out of use. There was no drinking water provided. When I asked for a bottle for the first night, I was told no. When I asked about a filtered water tap, I was told no - I could boil the kettle, drink the bathroom water or go to 7-Eleven. Their lackadaisical response was borderline laughable! One final warning for non-smokers: cigarette smoke is a significant issue. The Level 2 corridors are thick with smoke which permeates the hotel. If you are sensitive to smoke, I recommend requesting Level 3 or above, which benefits from an open atrium allowing air to circulate. Smoking around the pool was also constant during my stay. The Wi-Fi was patchy and there was absolutely no Wi-Fi around the pool. The irony is that the hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool and an excellent location. I gave both 5/5 because they genuinely deserve it. But I gave the service 1/5 because the lack of security, staff presence and management response left me deeply uncomfortable as a solo traveller. There wasn't a single corner of this hotel where I didn't feel like something had been cut back and, by the end, I couldn't help wondering whether I'd inadvertently booked myself into a budget youth hostel rather than a 3.5-star hotel, as advertised. What makes this all such a shame is the hotel's potential. With its riverside views, excellent location, beautiful rooftop pool and gardens, this could be an exquisite venue with a complete refurbishment and, crucially, the right management team. The bones are there - it just desperately needs care, investment and proper management. Beautiful location. Lovely pool. Enormous potential. Very uncomfortable stay.

The hotel is pretty good, with a very convenient location. Right outside, you'll find the shuttle bus stop, and down the stairs is Xylokastro beach. The hotel has a restaurant, making dining easy, and there's a small supermarket next door for convenience. The hotel environment is nice; if you book two rooms, they can be adjoining with a connecting door that opens. There's also a Chinese-speaking front desk staff member. Service, however, is a bit hit-or-miss. We stayed for two days and asked for an extra blanket countless times, but never received one.

Absolutely fantastic, and very affordable! Overall, it's a great value, and I highly recommend it. My stay far exceeded expectations; I was very satisfied with everything. The location is excellent, close to transportation hubs, making taxis and public transport super convenient. The room was spacious and tidy, with meticulous cleaning details. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The bed was just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, ensuring a high-quality rest. The front desk service was patient and efficient, responding promptly to any requests. The entire environment was clean and comfortable. It's suitable for both short layovers and longer stays, definitely worth recommending to everyone.
