The experience was great from the beginning when I notified my late check in due to my flight arriving almost at midnight. I know that the booking has to be respected by the hotel, but incredibly some don't do it. The hotel is 50 min from KL international airport, you can use Grab app to get a taxi and pay in cash if you can't link your card to it, that would be about 80 RM + the toll fees, that would make it around 20 usd. The staff at the front desk was so kind during check-in and check-out. I read some reviews about the construction site beside the hotel and the cemetery that is around the hotel. As for the cemetery, it is just part of the landscape, and honestly it is a good story to tell your friends about, I understand how those places are much older than modern constructions. Regarding the construction site, if you are too sensitive to noise, it might be a little annoying if your room is on that side of the hotel, maybe you can arrange the hotel to change you to the other wing. The neighborhood is busy since it is about 300m from KLCC park so it might be a little noisy during the night. The overall hygene of the room was great except that the kettle in my room still had some water. Nothing that can't be solved by washing it. There were two glass bottles that can be refilled in the filter by the elevator. I really appreciate that they stop using bottled water and reduce plastic waste. Breakfast had a lot of variety including western food, Malayan and some Chinese. I used the gym for one day because I was stuck due to heavy rain, it has a couple of treadmills, bikes, escalator and some machines, not too big, but comfortable to do some strength work. The location is great to walk to KLCC and from a couple of meters from the hotel you can take great pictures of the Petronas. About 45-50 min walking distance of central market to buy nice souvenirs, the national mosque and the national museum. 40 min taxi trip to the Batu caves, go early (8 am) because it might be a quite busy place to get to. I enjoyed my stay and definitely I would pick it again if I come back to KL, definitely recommended 9/10.

Nice hotel. Beautiful clean and spacious room. The hotel was almost perfect. Just two minor details were a pity. The elevators were very slow. Waiting for them made us lose a lot of time. The gym was small and there were not enough powerlifting or benches to do exercises (actually had a queue waiting for exercise spots). We do recommend this hotel for the spot and room.

Excellent Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hilton brand has always been my preferred choice for work trips in Kuala Lumpur — whether it’s Hilton KL, DoubleTree, or Hilton Garden Inn. I stayed in a King Room (no view/partial view, with window). The room was spacious and comfortable, with the signature Hilton bed ensuring a restful sleep. I also appreciated the pillow menu and the transparent bathroom with adjustable curtains. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room pleasantly cool. However, the TV channels were limited to local stations and standard movie channels — it would be even better if the hotel upgraded to smart TVs for streaming convenience. Parking is complimentary and shared with Intermark Mall and office tenants. Valet parking is available at RM60. The lifts from the parking connect to the lobby, but hotel guests have dedicated lift access for security — a thoughtful feature. Special thanks to Ms. Sumaiyah for the smooth check-in process and for fulfilling my request for a complimentary birthday cake slice and a 1-hour late check-out. The bellman was friendly and punctual in handling my luggage — overall, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and valued. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The saltwater pool (1.3m deep) and kids’ pool make this hotel a great choice for families as well. Being located within Intermark Mall adds convenience — guests have easy access to a variety of restaurants and cafés, both inside the hotel and within the mall, all at reasonable prices. The location is also strategic, with direct access to Jalan Tun Razak, KLCC, TRX, and nearby LRT/MRT stations, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, an excellent stay that truly reflects the warm Hilton hospitality standard. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

9 years ago i held my wedding in this very hotel, and im back to celebrate my 9th wedding anniversary. We got a little room decoration courtesy of the hotel, and we got a little surprise in the room for us too. We booked Collection Club for the lounge access, the lounge is very comfortable, i’m willing to relax there whole day. Room is clean, the bed is superb, I’m had back pain every morning due to slipped disc, but not with this bed, a really big positive for me. The food very nice, breakfast very nice, friendly staff, friendly manager.

Basic clean room suitable for tourists as a transit hub due to its strategic location. It was my favorite choice of accommodation in KL. Nonetheless, sadly, in the recent months till to-date, it was noted that many trans in this hotel as a hub for their activities ! I am sure the management must be aware of such happenings but condoned to it. There is a need to step up compliance, before the image of this hotel got tarnished as a tourist class standard.

And the hotel lift was quite slow for a building that has so many floor, so you will end up waiting for a while everytime for the lift. Other than that, the room and toile was spacious. Bathtub was really big. However, wished there was a bathrobe, and for the slipper to be thicker..

The hotel is very clean, beautiful, large space, and I really appreciate that they gave us a room with city view, facing petronas tower as well. The staff are very kind, the hotel has 24/7 convenient store also. I will surely come back here and recommend this hotel! Thank you very much to the staff! 🥰🫶 I love Malaysia!

The service was good, but the check-in process could be improved. The shower water wasn’t as strong as in other hotels, but it was still acceptable. However, the bathroom shower drain water flow to the drain hole was slow, which caused a small amount of flooding during shower

The staff were friendly and location was not bad either. The room was rather run down and was offered a newly renovated one with extra cost, to which we declined. Water hammering was bad in our toilet with loud noise of water gushing down the pipes that woke me up on few occasions. To exacerbate the matter worst, construction were going on next door and noise started filtering in after 8am. Not ideal

Absolutely outstanding stay at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur! From the moment I arrived, I was treated like royalty—every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The location is unbeatable, Pavilion across the road and closer to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers making it perfect for both sightseeing and shopping. I booked two room and get complementary Upgrade to Executive suites My room exuded pure luxury, with a supremely comfortable bed and a deep soaking bath that was simply perfect after a day out. Every detail, from the immaculate housekeeping to the flawless service, reflects true 5-star hospitality. I loved every moment and left feeling completely pampered. Breakfast simply the best 👍🏻 JW Marriott sets the gold standard for luxury and comfort—I can’t wait to return!

Love it’s great location. Easy access to Pavilion & KLCC using pedestrian walkway. The hotel room is dated, but cleanliness is satisfactory. Breakfast is sufficient but can be better. Outdoor swimming pool overlooking the city. Parking cost for guest is RM5/day. Staff is helpful on answering our queries. Overall, an affordable hotel for a short stay in the heart of KL.

Just wrapped up a three-night stay at Traders Hotel and it was perfect for my business trip. I booked a Club Suite and it was worth every penny. The room was spacious with a stunning, direct view of the Petronas Twin Towers—absolutely breathtaking, especially at night. The real value was in the club lounge access. After long days in meetings, the complimentary evening cocktails and canapés were a lifesaver, allowing me to network and unwind without leaving the hotel. The free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available throughout the day were also a great perk. The location in KLCC is unbeatable for business; it's directly connected to the convention center and a short walk to major corporate offices. While the decor is slightly dated, the incredible view, club benefits, and professional service more than make up for it. Highly recommended for any business traveler!!!

For this trip, we started at The St. Regis Langkawi, then moved to The Ritz-Carlton, and finally stayed here upon returning to Kuala Lumpur. We initially booked two double rooms, but the front desk upgraded us to a suite, which was a nice gesture. However, our stay had a few issues. Upon entering our 17th-floor room, we were hit with a strong cigar smell. Since we had a child celebrating a birthday and the room was already decorated, we decided not to switch rooms and just informed the front desk. But when we returned around 9 PM, the living room was still filled with smoke, making it very uncomfortable to sleep in, even after putting out air fresheners. It wasn't until the next morning that the front desk finally moved us to a triple room! The room was apartment-style and quite spacious, but it felt a bit old, and the soundproofing wasn't great. The overall service level was probably on par with a domestic four-star hotel. Perhaps coming from island resorts, the difference felt a bit stark. Regarding other aspects, breakfast was very crowded due to the holiday, and the food variety felt a bit limited. Also, the Indian staff in the breakfast area had very strong accents, requiring a bit more patience to communicate. The front desk was a diverse team, with locals, Chinese, and Indian staff. A local gentleman who checked us in was particularly warm and friendly. However, later, when I approached the front desk about the smoke smell, a young lady with a Chinese appearance, who claimed to speak both Chinese and English, seemed to ignore me despite my lengthy explanation. It felt a bit rude. Fortunately, most of the staff were still very enthusiastic. The hotel's location is indeed good for shopping, but I don't think I'll stay here again next time! I feel like I'd either choose an apartment, which is cheaper and convenient, or a newer hotel; they are much better.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean, the location was perfect and close to everything, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The only small point was that the amenities could be improved a little, but overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

The staff surprised me with a birthday cake and took such great care of me. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and relaxed. The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I would definitely come back again! 🌟✨

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the area, and I absolutely love it! The convenience of having a parking space right next to the hotel for just RM12 per day is fantastic. The only minor downside was a slightly musty smell in the room, but it was manageable. The shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but everything else was quite convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again, especially since my dad really values convenient parking! Please note that the ironing facilities are shared, and the iron may not get very hot. Additionally, the toiletries provided are quite basic, so remember to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush.
