The hotel's service and facilities are top-notch, meticulous, and make guests feel right at home, earning it popularity among both domestic and international travelers. We also know that New Asia's cuisine is fantastic, but unfortunately, we had so many dinner invitations from friends during this Shanghai trip that we didn't get a chance to try it. My family and I recently stayed at the Shanghai Agile Marriott Hotel City Centre while visiting Shanghai, and if I had to sum up my two-day experience in one word, it would be ”impeccable”! From the moment I stepped out of the car, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
First and foremost, I must give a huge shout-out to Koi from the front desk! From the start, Koi greeted us with a sincere smile that instantly made us feel at ease. Not only was she highly efficient, but she was also incredibly attentive. We arrived a bit too early before our check-in time. Seeing that we had luggage and elderly parents with us, she quickly arranged a quiet room on a high floor near the lift for us. She also patiently explained the hotel's facilities and breakfast. Thanks to her enthusiastic service, our travel fatigue melted away, and our first impression of Shanghai couldn't have been better!
As for the hotel itself, the location is absolutely superb! It's just a few minutes' walk to the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and it’s incredibly convenient whether you want to go shopping or see the night view at the Bund. The room was pure Marriott quality – spacious, bright, with comfortable bedding, and a beautiful view of the bustling city skyline. Watching the lights of Shanghai at night from the window was a fantastic experience.
The hotel facilities are also top-notch. The speed of hot water in the shower was instant, unlike many hotels where I had to wait a few seconds. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, with both Chinese and Western dishes available, catering to all tastes.
Overall, our stay was made even more memorable thanks to Koi's excellent service. There are many good hotels, but service with a personal touch is rare. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Shanghai! I wish Koi all the best in her work and life!Dari$143

Stayed one night at the Garden Hotel during the ***** New Year. Usually, it's around 600-700 RMB, but for CNY it was nearly 1000 RMB due to the premium.
I wanted to experience staying in a historic building in Shanghai, and the Garden Hotel seems to be a relatively good value for money. The location is excellent; it has a large garden in such a prime area. You can easily walk to Huaihai Road and Fuxing Road.
The service was also superb. It's rare to ask for one item from room service and have them bring a whole bunch of things [crying emoji], I was pleasantly surprised, especially since the hotel was fully booked during the ***** New Year. Thumbs up!
Aside from the room being a bit small and dated, the toilet was the common smart type. Breakfast was Japanese style, which I wasn't quite used to. Even with a full house during CNY, there was a queue, but the efficiency was high, and you didn't have to wait long.

We got 2 very spacious deluxe suites at an attractive rate for the four of us.Eventhough the rooms look dated but they are comfy nevertheless. The only issue is the bathroom shower area which does not drain well hence causing flooding in the whole bathroom..I think its the design of the shower floor trap tile that needs to change as the current makeshift tile cover only blocks the flow of water.They can always replace it with a proper floor trap tile which drains.
Housekeeping need to give attention to the towels provided as eye lashes of old guests are found on one of the ”new” towers(see pix).Also toilet amenities are not consistently replaced.
Still,this is a nice & value for money premium hotel to stay for families due to its relatively quiet neighbourhood plus its within walking distance to the shopping district of Ch'ng AnDari$176

A tranquil oasis in the heart of the city.
The location is excellent: very close to Yuyuan Garden Metro Station Exit 7. It's also within walking distance to the Bund, Yuyuan Garden, and Jinling East Road Ferry Terminal. The Huangpu River cruise included in the package was fantastic; we enjoyed an hour of beautiful scenery from the boat.
The hotel entrance is beautifully designed, and as soon as we arrived, the doorman proactively helped us with our luggage and escorted us to the elevator.
The room was clean and tidy, with views of both the historic buildings along the Bund and the modern skyline of Lujiazui. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city, and our whole family slept soundly.
The breakfast offered a great variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, and the made-to-order noodle station was particularly outstanding.
They even offer a sweet soup in the evening, and the mini-bar in the room was well-stocked. The attention to detail is truly impressive. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.Dari$116

The only thing of notes was we had no luck using the dryers and resorted to hanging out our clothes in our room. But this is a minor issue and may be operator error. It was once a gathering place for literary giants such as Ba Jin and Lu Xun, and the founding site of the Chinese Young Journalists Association. The hotel completed its renovation and upgrade in 2017, retaining some antique items from its opening in 1931 while incorporating an Art Deco style with Oriental cultural essence, creating a space that is both vintage and fashionable.
The guest rooms are full of thoughtful details: a mosaic depiction of the International Hotel exterior serves as a background wall, hammered glass balances transparency and privacy, and the combination of French charm and Chinese royal-style furniture showcases exquisite taste. Some themed rooms even replicate the furnishings of desks and dressing tables from the Republic of China era, with replica handwritten letters from Lu Xun to Ba Jin hanging on the walls, with the elegance of old Shanghai flowing through every corner. The photographer was incredibly professional, excellent at finding angles, understanding lighting and composition, and patiently guided my poses and movements. I must particularly commend our exclusive butler, Alisa! She was enthusiastic and meticulous throughout our stay. The location is only a short walk, around 300mtrs from Exit 10 Jiangwan Stadium subway station (line 10). There is an alley/tunnel connecting Jiangwan stadium and Wujiaochang subway stn, full of food stalls, snack, drink, etc. Basically you won't get starved even you stay there more than 2 weeks. This hotel is perfectly suited to my taste. The lobby is predominantly decorated in black and red, with even the glass panels featuring a red tint. The lobby area is incredibly spacious, boasting many distinct seating zones, which made me feel like I could spend an entire day just lounging there.
The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall, MixC City, offering a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Plus, it's just a few subway stops from either the train station or the airport. Getting to the hotel from Ziteng Road Metro Station: exit and enter the shopping mall through its main illuminated entrance. For the most straightforward path, *before* you reach the pedestrian street of the metro commercial area, follow the signs to take the elevator up to the second floor. From there, walk through the parking lot between Buildings A and B, and you'll arrive directly at the hotel, with no stairs to navigate.

Nice little hotel, but not for me.
It is located right next to Sam's Club and that's always nice. Being able to eat Sam's pizza and hot dogs is always nice.
The bed, while big, was not comfortable to me. I know everyone has their preferences on softness levels. When I stay at a hotel, l like mattresses I melt into because they are soft. Not that way here. But I know some people prefer these mattresses.
They had a restaurant and bar that looked nice, but I didn't visit as I had dinner and drinks with others not staying at hotel.
The real deal breaker for me was no refrigerator in my room. Some rooms may have them. Mine did not (that I could find at least). When I stay at a hotel for more than one night, a refrigerator is a must, either for leftover food or cold drinks. Also, for a superior queen room, I think it said balcony or terrace and sofa, none of which my room had. And for garden view... Definitely not a pretty garden, more like a cement walkway and Sam's. And lastly, no room service... I know it's not advertised as having room service... But paying nearly 500rmb a night, just having a club sandwich or dumplings available late night would be nice. Maybe work out a deal with Sam's.
Colleague stayed at a hotel less than 10 mins away that was cheaper, had a bathtub, had a late night menu, and had a refrigerator.
Staff were great! Very helpful!

Cara memohon Visa China

Apabila rakyat Malaysia memohon visa Cina, langkah utama adalah seperti berikut:
1.Tentukan jenis visa:
- Visa pelancong (visa L): Jika anda melancong ke China, mohon visa L. Bahan jadual perjalanan seperti tiket penerbangan pergi balik dan tempahan hotel, atau surat jemputan daripada unit atau individu di China diperlukan.
- Visa perniagaan (Visa M): Mereka yang ingin pergi ke China untuk menjalankan aktiviti perniagaan dan perdagangan mesti menyediakan dokumen aktiviti perniagaan, jemputan pameran ekonomi dan perdagangan serta surat jemputan lain yang dikeluarkan oleh rakan dagang di China.
- Visa pelawat( Q1,Q2,S1,S2)
- Visa kerja (visa Z): Mereka yang bekerja di China perlu memberikan "Notis Permit Kerja Warga Asing" atau "Permit Kerja Warga Asing" yang asal.
- Visa belajar (visa X)
- Visa wartawan (visa J)
2.Isi borang permohonan secara online:
Log masuk ke laman web Pusat Perkhidmatan Permohonan Visa Cina (https://bio.visaforchina.cn/kul3_en/) untuk mengisi borang permohonan visa dalam talian, memuat naik bahan permohonan seperti yang diperlukan, tandatangan pada halaman pengesahan dan perkara 9 borang dan cetak halaman yang sepadan (jumlah 2 halaman) ).
3.Sediakan bahan permohonan:
- Pasport: Pasport asal dengan tempoh sah lebih daripada 6 bulan dan halaman visa kosong dan salinan halaman foto dan data pasport.
- Borang permohonan visa dan gambar: 1 salinan borang permohonan visa yang diisi dalam talian (cetak halaman pengesahan dan halaman yang sepadan dengan perkara 9 borang) dan 1 gambar dimuat naik dalam borang permohonan.
- Bukti tinggal atau kediaman yang sah (terpakai kepada mereka yang tidak memohon visa di negara kewarganegaraan): Jika anda tidak memohon visa di negara kewarganegaraan, anda perlu memberikan sijil sah tinggal sah, kediaman , bekerja, dan belajar di Malaysia atau asal dan salinan visa yang sah.
- Pasport Cina asal atau visa Cina asal (terpakai kepada mereka yang pernah mempunyai kewarganegaraan Cina dan kemudian menjadi warganegara asing): Jika ini kali pertama memohon visa Cina, anda mesti menyediakan pasport Cina asal dan salinan pasport halaman data foto; jika anda pernah menerima visa China Jika anda memohon visa dengan pasport asing yang baru dikeluarkan, anda mesti memberikan salinan halaman data foto pasport asing asal dan salinan visa China yang anda perolehi .
- Bahan berkaitan lain yang diperlukan untuk jenis visa tertentu, seperti surat jemputan, surat jaminan, notis kemasukan, dsb. (sediakan bahan yang sepadan mengikut jenis visa yang berbeza).
4.Hantar permohonan anda:
Selepas status pesanan pada halaman permohonan dipaparkan sebagai "Pasport menunggu penyerahan", saya akan menyerahkan permohonan saya ke Pusat Perkhidmatan Permohonan Visa Cina di Kuala Lumpur bersama pasport dan bahan permohonan visa saya yang lain, dan menyimpan sepuluh cap jari saya.
5.Menunggu kelulusan:
Masa kelulusan visa biasanya mengambil masa 4-5 hari bekerja, dan pemprosesan dipercepatkan boleh diselesaikan dalam masa 1-3 hari bekerja, tetapi perkhidmatan dipercepat mungkin memerlukan bayaran tambahan.
6.Mengambil visa:
Pemohon boleh memilih untuk pergi ke Pusat Permohonan Visa untuk mengambil sendiri visa, atau mendapatkan visa melalui pos. Sila semak dengan teliti sama ada maklumat visa adalah betul semasa mengambil visa anda.
Berapakah kos visa China
Mengikut langkah sementara dari 11 Disember 2023 hingga 31 Disember 2024, kedutaan dan konsulat China di luar negara mengenakan yuran visa untuk melawat China pada 75% daripada piawaian yuran semasa. Berikut ialah anggaran kos untuk rakyat Malaysia memohon visa China (ditukar dalam ringgit, kadar pertukaran akan turun naik):
Permohonan biasa:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 220 (75% daripada harga asal);
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 235;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 289;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 335.
Permohonan dipercepatkan:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 380;
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 412;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 470;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 615.
Permohonan segera:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 505;
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 545;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 585;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 650.
Yuran di atas adalah untuk rujukan sahaja Yuran khusus mungkin berbeza-beza disebabkan oleh turun naik kadar pertukaran, pelarasan polisi dan keadaan khusus permohonan. Adalah disyorkan untuk berunding dengan Kedutaan atau Konsulat China di Malaysia atau pusat permohonan visa yang berkaitan untuk mendapatkan maklumat bayaran yang tepat sebelum memohon visa.
Berapa lama masa yang diperlukan untuk memohon visa China?
Masa yang diperlukan untuk memohon visa Cina berbeza-beza bergantung kepada banyak faktor Secara umumnya, ia dibahagikan kepada situasi berikut:
Pemprosesan biasa:
