Its location on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is incredibly convenient: the subway station is just a 5-minute walk away. Right across the street is The No.1 Department Store, and next door is the M&M's Flagship Store, offering plenty of shopping and dining options for the whole family. There are also countless authentic Shanghai eateries on nearby Jiujiang Road, Tianjin Road, Fujian Road, and Guangxi Road – so many choices you can't try them all! The hotel staff are warm and polite; the front desk even assigned us a room with a fantastic view, where we could see the 'Shanghai Trio' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), Nanjing Road, and the Huangpu River. Additionally, the cleaning staff are diligent and thorough; our room and bathroom were spotless. Staying at the Xinye Hotel made our Chinese New Year holiday feel extra joyful and comfortable. The hotel’s location is very good. It is about a 5-minute walk to a huge Starbucks, Nanjing West Road, the MRT station, and Wujiang Road, which has several nice bakeries and food options. This made getting around very convenient. There was also a 7-11 just across the road.
However, the Premier Two-Bedroom Suite was disappointing for the price paid. The rooms are rather small, especially the master bedroom, where there was not enough space to place or open any luggage. We had to keep our luggage in the living room instead.
The bathroom, particularly the shower area, looked very dated. The tiles appeared old and there was a musty smell, which was unpleasant. Another inconvenience was that the light switches were only on one side of the bed, making it very inconvenient to switch off the lights from the other side.
The kitchenette was also very small. Cutlery was stored in a drawer above the bin, which was not ideal, and there were no extra plates provided. The tiles looked old with visible cracks, and some of the drawers were faulty. Overall, the room did not feel premium and felt overpriced for what was offered. The hotel rooms clearly need a glow-up to match the Kempinski brand and the rates charged.
Additionally, the reception area was undergoing renovation, with no seating or waiting area. The pick-up and drop-off driveway is very narrow, only a small lane. When loading our luggage, we had to do so very quickly as other cars were waiting. The driveway would benefit from being more spacious.
While the location is excellent, the room condition, layout, and facilities did not meet expectations for a Premier suite.DariMYR 838

Our room offered stunning views of Pudong's 'three-piece suite' (referring to the iconic skyscrapers) and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple. It was so convenient, we visited daily! We were lucky enough to catch the Chinese New Year lantern festival, and entering before 2 PM meant free admission to see the lanterns. Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple truly encapsulate the essence of Shanghai's culture. This is our re-visit of the hotel. I don’t know why, but it just felt homey instantly (usually it will take me a night to get used to the room), it’s just comfortable with peaceful ambiance and soft lighting. The breakfast was amazing and it really helped to start our day in a pleasant way! We also had a pleasant interaction with the room-service robot who delivered bottle water to our room twice 😄 You just had to try it!!! too bad I couldn’t hug the robot 😄 I also like the Hotel’s good and combined use of technology and human service. I called from the room to ask for bottle water, and it was answered by a lady who said they will send a Robot to deliver. (In another hotel, I also made a call from the room with a small request, but it was an auto answer where you had to talk to a machine and dial the numbers when prompted, which often ended in frustration). Other than that, just one suggestion, I thought the quality of the toiletries and slippers provided could be better compared to the peer hotels, yea, especially for the slippers, they felt too synthetic compared to the slippers from the other two hotels I stayed at during this travel. For the most straightforward path, *before* you reach the pedestrian street of the metro commercial area, follow the signs to take the elevator up to the second floor. From there, walk through the parking lot between Buildings A and B, and you'll arrive directly at the hotel, with no stairs to navigate.

Cara memohon Visa China

Apabila rakyat Malaysia memohon visa Cina, langkah utama adalah seperti berikut:
1.Tentukan jenis visa:
- Visa pelancong (visa L): Jika anda melancong ke China, mohon visa L. Bahan jadual perjalanan seperti tiket penerbangan pergi balik dan tempahan hotel, atau surat jemputan daripada unit atau individu di China diperlukan.
- Visa perniagaan (Visa M): Mereka yang ingin pergi ke China untuk menjalankan aktiviti perniagaan dan perdagangan mesti menyediakan dokumen aktiviti perniagaan, jemputan pameran ekonomi dan perdagangan serta surat jemputan lain yang dikeluarkan oleh rakan dagang di China.

- Visa kerja (visa Z): Mereka yang bekerja di China perlu memberikan "Notis Permit Kerja Warga Asing" atau "Permit Kerja Warga Asing" yang asal.

2.Isi borang permohonan secara online:
