Our late-night arrival was made so much warmer by the hotel's service team; they truly deserve a huge commendation!
We didn't get to the hotel with our child until after 10 PM. What was so touching was that Daisy at the front desk had already confirmed our arrival time in advance and thoughtfully offered to save us a room with a nice view. When we were checking in, she saw our sleeping child and our exhausted selves. Not only did she complete the formalities as quickly as possible, but she immediately brought us fresh welcome fruits, softly saying, ”Get some energy first.” This thoughtfulness went far beyond our expectations. Even more heartwarming, when the lobby manager, Eamon, saw us carrying our child with one hand and dragging luggage with the other, he proactively took all our bags and insisted on delivering them to our room. Along the way, he quietly mentioned the breakfast times for the next day. Upon reaching our room door, he carefully organized the luggage by category.

Booked this place for New Year's Eve, and it was excellent value for money. My child absolutely loved the hotel, especially the little cats in the garden. Every evening, walking past after dinner, we'd see kind people feeding them, which my child adored. We booked a suite because we had a tutor coming the next day, and the price for the suite was fantastic. Breakfast was quite crowded, and we had to queue for a bit. I initially thought there wouldn't be much variety, but it turned out to be pretty decent! The Japanese breakfast was good, though I didn't try the burdock mixed rice. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, which we took with us even though we don't drink. Overall, I thought it was great! Choosing Pullman Shanghai Jing'an for my trip to Shanghai was definitely the right decision; the entire experience was fantastic, earning it a mandatory five-star recommendation! The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to Shanghai Railway Station, and Metro Lines 1, 3, and 4 are right next door. Iconic attractions like The Bund and Jing'an Temple are just a 10-20 minute drive away. Whether you're catching a high-speed train or exploring the city, it's incredibly convenient – perfect for travelers.
Check-in was super efficient, and the front desk staff were gentle, professional, and even thoughtfully provided a travel guide. I immediately felt a strong sense of hospitality. My room had a fantastic view, with full-size floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. The bedding was incredibly soft, allowing me to unwind instantly. It's perfect for both business and leisure. The room was clean and tidy, reflecting the hotel's meticulous attention to detail.
The hotel's facilities are also excellent. The heated swimming pool on the 6th floor has wonderful natural light, and the gym is fully equipped with professional gear, making workouts very enjoyable. It’s a great way to relax after work, and it truly boosts your well-being. The dining was also to my taste; the breakfast offered a rich variety, catering to different palates.

The hotel’s location is very good. It is about a 5-minute walk to a huge Starbucks, Nanjing West Road, the MRT station, and Wujiang Road, which has several nice bakeries and food options. This made getting around very convenient. There was also a 7-11 just across the road.
However, the Premier Two-Bedroom Suite was disappointing for the price paid. The rooms are rather small, especially the master bedroom, where there was not enough space to place or open any luggage. We had to keep our luggage in the living room instead.
The bathroom, particularly the shower area, looked very dated. The tiles appeared old and there was a musty smell, which was unpleasant. Another inconvenience was that the light switches were only on one side of the bed, making it very inconvenient to switch off the lights from the other side.
The kitchenette was also very small. Cutlery was stored in a drawer above the bin, which was not ideal, and there were no extra plates provided. The tiles looked old with visible cracks, and some of the drawers were faulty. Overall, the room did not feel premium and felt overpriced for what was offered. The hotel rooms clearly need a glow-up to match the Kempinski brand and the rates charged.
Additionally, the reception area was undergoing renovation, with no seating or waiting area. The pick-up and drop-off driveway is very narrow, only a small lane. When loading our luggage, we had to do so very quickly as other cars were waiting. The driveway would benefit from being more spacious.
While the location is excellent, the room condition, layout, and facilities did not meet expectations for a Premier suite.DariMYR 617

The room was great! Initially, there was a strange smell, and when I reported it to the staff, they promptly moved us to a new room the very next day. Their attitude was super friendly! Every time we entered, someone greeted us warmly, and the front desk ladies were also very enthusiastic and responsible.
The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient, right across from Yu Garden, just a few minutes' walk away.
They even have robots to deliver food ordered through takeout, which is a nice touch.
On the day we checked out, the hotel security guard helped us with our luggage, which I really appreciated. The overall experience was fantastic and lived up to my expectations for Shanghai. Thank you! 😊

The location is super central and convenient for getting anywhere. The staff honestly told us that the Oriental Pearl TV Tower view was partially obstructed, but it was still stunning. The only minor issue was the front desk male staff member's insincere expression when we checked in at 6 PM on January 12th, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. However, the front desk staff who checked us in late at night were very friendly despite the late hour. Overall, the staff's attitude was excellent! This hotel is just beautiful and welcoming. People standing at the front will rush to help opening the door and unload your luggage from the car. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful and provide all the details in English. Then you will be brought to your room.
The room was really lovely. The beds were a bit small for an adult and kids but this is based on foreigners size. The bathroom was not clean properly with stains on the wall, doors and bathtub ( picture attached) but this may be due of the fact that the room was old.
There was a mini bar in the room but no price available.
The hotel have a heated pool and multiple restaurant on site. The kids love the pool.
The hotel is in the middle of all the places that need to be visited. If you go out from the hotel and turn right. You are 10 min walk from Nanjing Road. If you turn left, you are 10 min walk from YuYan Garden. And if you walk in direction of the back of the hotel, you are at the Bund. If you go straight you ll be most likely at people’s square.
We had an amazing stay there and we were joined by our daughter’s friend who booked there aswell to make it convenient for the kids to see each other.

The room experience was a delightful surprise! The room design is simple yet grand, with meticulous attention to detail. The sapphire-themed interior felt luxurious. Thoughtful amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and high-end toiletries were provided, and the facilities were comprehensive and modern. The entire room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the independent bathtub and scenic balcony were definite bonuses. Waking up to the natural scenery in the morning was incredibly blissful, making for a perfectly comfortable stay.
The dining experience was a culinary feast! The Chinese restaurant, Cai Feng Lou, lived up to its Black Pearl Restaurant rating. The beef was tender and juicy, and the soup was rich and flavorful. Every dish used high-quality ingredients and had authentic flavors, truly showcasing the essence of Chinese cuisine. The Western restaurant, Fish Eye, had an incredible ambiance, surrounded by an aquarium underwater. The seafood was fresh and sweet, and the Western dishes were exquisite and delicious, both visually appealing and tasty. And the service was impeccable! A special shout-out to our exclusive butler, Alice. From communicating our needs before check-in and providing detailed explanations of the facilities upon arrival, to offering thoughtful reminders and responding to requests throughout our trip, she was patient, attentive, and incredibly thorough. She anticipated every need, making the entire journey feel so warm and cared for. All the hotel staff were also enthusiastic and professional. The breakfast was amazing and it really helped to start our day in a pleasant way! We also had a pleasant interaction with the room-service robot who delivered bottle water to our room twice 😄 You just had to try it!!! too bad I couldn’t hug the robot 😄 I also like the Hotel’s good and combined use of technology and human service. I called from the room to ask for bottle water, and it was answered by a lady who said they will send a Robot to deliver. (In another hotel, I also made a call from the room with a small request, but it was an auto answer where you had to talk to a machine and dial the numbers when prompted, which often ended in frustration). Other than that, just one suggestion, I thought the quality of the toiletries and slippers provided could be better compared to the peer hotels, yea, especially for the slippers, they felt too synthetic compared to the slippers from the other two hotels I stayed at during this travel. I stayed here for one night. I came here after leaving another hotel that wasn't good. I'm so glad that I came here instead. I really got such a good night's sleep. One of the hotel staff, Ekko, was extra helpful in answering my questions in English, allowing me to stay longer in the lobby while I waited for my friend and even offered me a bottle of water. He was very welcoming! The the bed is so comfortable and soft and the hotel is very clean. And the breakfast is also delicious. You also have a vending machine on the first floor that takes digital payment and a mini refrigerator in your room. There's also a smart TV with HDMI and screen mirroring. It's great value for money and it's also just a really comfortable place to stay. The interior design is really beautiful and eclectic. I think you'll have fun just hanging out in the lobby, good music playing, for a couple hours doing some work at one of the many sitting areas in the lobby, if you're a digital nomad like me. I didn’t get to take good pictures of the hotel because it felt like home and I was comfortable instantly. Stayed for almost a week, and the room, breakfast, and the staffs were all so amazing. Cara memohon Visa China

Apabila rakyat Malaysia memohon visa Cina, langkah utama adalah seperti berikut:
1.Tentukan jenis visa:
- Visa pelancong (visa L): Jika anda melancong ke China, mohon visa L. Bahan jadual perjalanan seperti tiket penerbangan pergi balik dan tempahan hotel, atau surat jemputan daripada unit atau individu di China diperlukan.
- Visa perniagaan (Visa M): Mereka yang ingin pergi ke China untuk menjalankan aktiviti perniagaan dan perdagangan mesti menyediakan dokumen aktiviti perniagaan, jemputan pameran ekonomi dan perdagangan serta surat jemputan lain yang dikeluarkan oleh rakan dagang di China.
- Visa pelawat( Q1,Q2,S1,S2)
- Visa kerja (visa Z): Mereka yang bekerja di China perlu memberikan "Notis Permit Kerja Warga Asing" atau "Permit Kerja Warga Asing" yang asal.
- Visa belajar (visa X)
- Visa wartawan (visa J)
2.Isi borang permohonan secara online:
Log masuk ke laman web Pusat Perkhidmatan Permohonan Visa Cina (https://bio.visaforchina.cn/kul3_en/) untuk mengisi borang permohonan visa dalam talian, memuat naik bahan permohonan seperti yang diperlukan, tandatangan pada halaman pengesahan dan perkara 9 borang dan cetak halaman yang sepadan (jumlah 2 halaman) ).
3.Sediakan bahan permohonan:
- Pasport: Pasport asal dengan tempoh sah lebih daripada 6 bulan dan halaman visa kosong dan salinan halaman foto dan data pasport.
- Borang permohonan visa dan gambar: 1 salinan borang permohonan visa yang diisi dalam talian (cetak halaman pengesahan dan halaman yang sepadan dengan perkara 9 borang) dan 1 gambar dimuat naik dalam borang permohonan.
- Bukti tinggal atau kediaman yang sah (terpakai kepada mereka yang tidak memohon visa di negara kewarganegaraan): Jika anda tidak memohon visa di negara kewarganegaraan, anda perlu memberikan sijil sah tinggal sah, kediaman , bekerja, dan belajar di Malaysia atau asal dan salinan visa yang sah.
- Pasport Cina asal atau visa Cina asal (terpakai kepada mereka yang pernah mempunyai kewarganegaraan Cina dan kemudian menjadi warganegara asing): Jika ini kali pertama memohon visa Cina, anda mesti menyediakan pasport Cina asal dan salinan pasport halaman data foto; jika anda pernah menerima visa China Jika anda memohon visa dengan pasport asing yang baru dikeluarkan, anda mesti memberikan salinan halaman data foto pasport asing asal dan salinan visa China yang anda perolehi .
- Bahan berkaitan lain yang diperlukan untuk jenis visa tertentu, seperti surat jemputan, surat jaminan, notis kemasukan, dsb. (sediakan bahan yang sepadan mengikut jenis visa yang berbeza).
4.Hantar permohonan anda:
Selepas status pesanan pada halaman permohonan dipaparkan sebagai "Pasport menunggu penyerahan", saya akan menyerahkan permohonan saya ke Pusat Perkhidmatan Permohonan Visa Cina di Kuala Lumpur bersama pasport dan bahan permohonan visa saya yang lain, dan menyimpan sepuluh cap jari saya.
5.Menunggu kelulusan:
Masa kelulusan visa biasanya mengambil masa 4-5 hari bekerja, dan pemprosesan dipercepatkan boleh diselesaikan dalam masa 1-3 hari bekerja, tetapi perkhidmatan dipercepat mungkin memerlukan bayaran tambahan.
6.Mengambil visa:

Berapakah kos visa China
Mengikut langkah sementara dari 11 Disember 2023 hingga 31 Disember 2024, kedutaan dan konsulat China di luar negara mengenakan yuran visa untuk melawat China pada 75% daripada piawaian yuran semasa. Berikut ialah anggaran kos untuk rakyat Malaysia memohon visa China (ditukar dalam ringgit, kadar pertukaran akan turun naik):
Permohonan biasa:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 220 (75% daripada harga asal);
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 235;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 289;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 335.
Permohonan dipercepatkan:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 380;
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 412;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 470;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 615.
Permohonan segera:
- Visa kemasukan tunggal: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 505;
- Visa kemasukan dua kali: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 545;
- Visa berbilang masuk 6 bulan: yuran adalah lebih kurang MYR 585;
- Visa kemasukan berbilang 12 bulan: berharga kira-kira MYR 650.
Yuran di atas adalah untuk rujukan sahaja Yuran khusus mungkin berbeza-beza disebabkan oleh turun naik kadar pertukaran, pelarasan polisi dan keadaan khusus permohonan. Adalah disyorkan untuk berunding dengan Kedutaan atau Konsulat China di Malaysia atau pusat permohonan visa yang berkaitan untuk mendapatkan maklumat bayaran yang tepat sebelum memohon visa.
Berapa lama masa yang diperlukan untuk memohon visa China?
Masa yang diperlukan untuk memohon visa Cina berbeza-beza bergantung kepada banyak faktor Secara umumnya, ia dibahagikan kepada situasi berikut:
Pemprosesan biasa:
