Service: The hotel staff are always smiling and try their best to meet our needs. The food in the restaurant is also delicious.
Facilities: The room is fully equipped with refrigerator, iron and hair dryer.

The facilities are slightly old, especially the cups in the public bar are worn out.
Hotels are few Asians, basically European.
The hotel and the agency of Trip.com were not connected smoothly, which caused me to not be able to renew the room for a long time. Trip.com expressed sorry and upgraded the room type for me, but the hotel did not regret this at all. I continued to stay in the room from 11 am to 5 pm.
Hotel meals look monotonous and are not rich at all. In addition to bread desserts, there is not much worth eating. Winning in the one-price all-inclusive price is OK. But in Sangdao, the cost of Chinese vacation is really too high.
Although the hotel is good, it should not be missed when passing by. But it is not necessary to come on a special trip.

My stay at Samawa Living was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of warmth and care from the staff. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel so safe and seen, which made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home.
I’d like to give a special thanks to Kadogo, Hashimu, Baby, Asha, and the rest of the amazing team who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their genuine kindness and attentive service stood out in every interaction.
The location of the hotel was perfect – close to the iconic Paje Beach, with convenient access via buggy, so I could enjoy the beauty of the area while still retreating to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The boho vibes of Samawa Living were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cosy and serene environment.
From the delicious meals to the immaculate rooms and tranquil ambience, everything about Samawa Living exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a safe, stylish, and welcoming place to stay in the Paje area, I highly recommend it.

Es un hotel nuevo, cuidado y con todos los detalles. Se nota el gusto con el que se ha diseñado y el servicio cuida mucho que sus huéspedes estén contentos y tengan lo que necesitan. Viajamos en familia y la villa estaba perfectamente preparada con 2 habitaciones, 2 baños y mucho espacio. Todas estaban alrededor de 2 piscinas, en un palmeral y perfecto para descansar. Tiene un pequeño gimnasio con lo suficiente para practicar deporte y los masajes son totalmente recomendables. Yo fui 2 veces y las chicas que lo dan consiguen que te relajes al 100%.
El único punto negativo es que no está a pie de playa pero en 5 minutos andando puedes llegar a la playa y para nosotros eso no era un problema. Si quieres, tienen un transporte que te lleva cuando necesitas a sus 2 hoteles ”hermanos” a pie de playa y donde puedes utilizar sus instalaciones...Los hoteles están a menos de 5 minutos en transporte...y también se puede ir andando
Nosotros estuvimos muy contentos y repetiríamos la experiencia.

Check in was not to nice and matrasses were so hard and uncomfortable. Room had weird smell and wvwn though I was on honeymoon they gave mw pool rooom on ground flooe whwre i coupdnt wvwn open wimdow bc people were passing.
Resort is beautiful though... Beach and 2 big swimming pools. Animation area with table tennis and billiard and other social gamea.
We say gym and kids club but didn't newd it
Animation team was great as well as waiters ans servers
We took all inclusive option and wnjoyed resort

Staff were really helpful especially the receptionists. The food was really good and had a wide range of variety. The bars are nice especially jetti bar by the Ocean. Swimming pools are good. Room was good except for the foul smell of humidity. The night entertainment was basic.

OOkuhleAbsolutely loved our stay at Kwanza, my mom and I had the best time. We were greeted by Caroline who always had a smile. Lucky was so jolly and helpful with our bags. Ahamed was always ready to assist with any and everything. The rooms were spacious and clean though there was a day where housekeeping forgot to come and spray the mosquito repellent. We had the best spa day and would highly recommend the full package. The food was exceptional and plentiful, we got the all inclusive package so we had all meals served and would recommend that as the resort is located far from other places. The bar service though needs improving as they were slow because there was only one server per bar but the cocktails were great!! I had forgotten my phone at one of the bathrooms and it was returned to me before I even noticed so the place is very safe.

JJacqueline KarikariI am a solo traveler and I was looking for a hotel to rest after my crazy stopovers throughout Zanzibar. The entire hotel team took great care of me. I didn't lack anything. The room was spacious and beautiful with the swimming pool and the small garden. The area is very wooded which means you can come across friendly little animals. Thank you again to the entire team at The Résidence hotel for all the care taken during my stay.

To be recommended except regarding their laundry service because they are not offering to clean separate individual items of clothing as is usually offered in most hotels. A fully loaded washing machine would be charged even if you only need to wash a single item.
