This apartment block is nicely located by the metro being 5 minute walk away. It’s in a bit of a run down neighbourhood with limited options for dining out. There is a mall 5 minutes away which did have the usual chain eating establishments. We didn’t check out the shops as they were closed when we went there. Check in was easy, staff were friendly enough and our room was on the 2nd floor, overlooking a park and a police station. The apartment was a good size and the kitchen well equipped. The only bathroom was a let down. The shower head poured water from all directions and the seal on the bottom of the shower door was not fit for purpose as water poured everywhere and into the hallway no matter how much we tried to contain it. After 5 people showering a day I spent a lot of time mopping the floor! This has clearly been an issue for some time as the laminate floor had lifted and the bathroom door swollen so it couldn’t be closed. The noise from outside and other residents in the block made it difficult to sleep. Dogs from the police station constantly barked, which set neighbouring dogs off! Not that this was an issue with the hotel. But this combined with people in neighbouring apartments chatting laughing and dragging chairs around made it very noisy. There appears to be no quiet hours here and the smell of other guests smoking **** on the balcony at night was a little too much Kids loved the pool and it is open until 9pm. There is a lovely courtyard in the middle of the block which is quiet and a small cafe which we didn’t use. Check out was easy and we were offered luggage storage even though we didn’t need it. All in all some good points and if you want a decent sized apartment not far from the metro and don’t mind the outside noise then this ticks the boxes. If you are given room 207, ask for another apartment unless you are handy with the mop and bucket!

Todo estuvo muy limpio, las personas que atendían fueron muy amables en todo momento, las habitaciones tenían aire aunque un poco escaso a mi gusto. Te permiten usar la cocina, nevera etc… Me parece un buen sitio para ir aunque si buscas un punto de partida fácil para conocer Barcelona te queda un poco alejado del resto. Por todo lo demás está muy bien.

Responsive host, apartment in a great location. Super convenient - supermarkets, cafes, shops selling fresh fish&meat around the corner. Metro just few minutes walk but one was under maintenance when we were there. Taxi fares are reasonable so no issues with transportation. Good size apartment and rooms, only one air con in the living room. Should have another in the Master bedroom but it was not working. Requested for fans which the host brought some the next morning. Air con was on 24 hours but it was still very warm so take note if you cannot tolerate heat. The apartment may have been left for a while without occupants. The floors were very dusty and the kitchen stove was greasy. Shower is not in the best condition (mould around sealant) and slightly poor drainage but water pressure was good. High floor apartment - not too noisy but have to watch out young kids as one small room has no window shutter, and the balcony door locks (from bedroom with no window) weren't working. We have to sleep in the living room with kids for the air-con and safety reason. We were out most of the time, so didn't really bother us too much. Thankfully the air-con in the living room was cold enough but if they have it in all rooms and with a TV at least this is considered a good pick. One typical Spanish apartment :)

Beautiful, clean apartments with private terrace and everything you need. Kitchen with Bosh appliances - fridge, dishwaser, oven, microwawe, hob, coffee maker and dishes. There is also coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, cream, olive oil. Under the sink - a package with tablets for the dishwasher, washing machine,.. There is also iron, ironing board. The bathroom has Rowenta hair dryer, washing machine, soap, cream, gel, shampoo and conditioner from REN CLEAN skincare. Check in/check out was easy! Location - 5 min walking to metro or bus. Plenty of restaurants near.
