We stayed at the Guesthouse for a week while working at the local ExCel Centre. The guest house is surrounded by many local takeaways and close to free parking out of normal business hours. (7:30-6pm Mon-Fri chargeble free the rest of the time) The accommodation has its own entrance which is accessible by a fob. Through the door leads you to a set of stairs that sits above the pub. Check in for us was speaking to the bar manager. The room was great value. Just be aware that on a Friday and Saturday Night the pubs live music can be heard but i did love the hotel provided ear plugs as standard in the rooms to aid sleep if you don't like live music. We both enjoyed it and would stay again.

My 3rd stay here, not because it's great but it serves it purpose. Pros: Good location for travel into Central London Easy and subsidised car parking onsite Comfortable bed Good size room Quite inside the hotel facility Great service from staff (30th Nov & 1st Dec) Cons: It is a dated hotel and could do with a refurbishment Only one pillow was provided (2 per room, I am sure I could have gone and asked for another but didn't). No onsite restaurant onsite eg for breakfast One lift was still out of service (as per a past review) External noise from surrounding roads started at 5am ish on a Sunday and continued (likely earlier and more intense during the week). The area it self is typical of a cities multi-cultral suburb. There are plenty of restaurants, take-aways, cafes and shops in the area. I can recommend The World Buffet restaurant and Wazir Turkish & Persian restaurant and takeaway. Transport is great into Central London with the Elizabeth line station only a 5min walk with trains running early/late (maybe even 24hrs). There are also plenty of bus links to and from the area. Would I stay again, as long as I could get a room at a decent price, yes I would. It does the job it has needed delivering on access, location and price.

Stayed there for 1 night, and I was surprised what I get for the price I paid. Nice view from the terrace, specious room and excellent staff members. Bonus of free Wi-Fi in the room which is important for my work. definitely coming back once in the area.

Booked in August last year 2 rooms for an 8 night stay in 30 days time. Now I received a notification from booking.com that the property canceled my booking because of an invalid card. This can't be true, as they had already preauthorized my card and I have funds in the card. Tried calling at the hotel and the receptionist on duty said that they don't deal with this situation and she recommended sending an email. I have sent 2 emails and no answer whatsoever. I called again and ask them to pass me to the reservation department but she said it was not possible cause there was no one, asked to speak to the manager Stefan, the same person that answers the reviews on this page but ”he's not here at the moment”. This is very unprofessional and now we need to find another alternative in London at expensive price cause it is only 30 days to go and it's the Easter period. Do not book here. It's a scam, fraud, and corruption!!!.
