An older hotel that's rough around the edges but has a variety of facilities, friendly staff and is right by the airport. They gave me free parking as it was an off peak date which was a nice touch. Cleanliness around the tv/desk wasn't great with dust and residue from Food but the bed was spotless.

You're nestled between the bustle of Manchester and the dairy fields of Cheshire, and if you want to go further afield, Manchester Airport is just up the road. Spot a deer or two roaming in Tatton Park. Or do some serious plane spotting at Aviation Park. Visit some big name retail stores at Trafford Centre, or keep the little ones amused at Quarry Bank Mill. Once you're done come back and relax at the hotel in our super-comfy kingsize Hypnos beds and enjoy a delicious meal at the Harvester restaurant next door.

We stayed at the Stanneylands the night before and the night of our wedding at Styal Lodge. The service was excellent and the suite for the wedding night was unbelievable we were so thrilled!!! Absolutely loved staying here and hope to be back one day. Dinner in the restaurant was also 10/10 :) thank you to the Stanneylands for a lovely stay and experience around our wedding.
