The location of the hotel is good and you can experience both sunrise and sunset from here. However the condition of the room does not justify the price you have to pay. The washrooms are tiny and not satisfactory. No amenities were provided including water which was only provided with extra payment. The linens were worn out. There's an old expression: 'The cheapest is not always the best”. Well the Ramraj Residency in Nagercoil just happens to be possibly the cheapest hotel in its class, AND the best. Situated up a quiet lane this very elegant hotel will definitely surprise you. 24 excellently appointed spacious a/c rooms have all the essentials necessary for a comfortable stay. Wifi, toiletries, towels, high quality bedding, hair-dryer, kettle, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cups, a TV, telephone, tables, chairs, wardrobe, plenty of plugs, a safe, even a USB outlet! And on top of all this, a free buffet breakfast. The 4th floor multi-cuisine a/c restaurant has good food at very reasonable prices. The staff of the hotel from room boy to receptionist to manager are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There's plenty of parking space for the Indian visitors and their vehicles. The upkeep and maintenance of the rooms and bathrooms is clear to see. Nothing is broken, cracked, missing or out of order.....unlike several hotels in India. A definite 5-star feeling for a budget price. Enjoy your sojourn at the tip of India.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the level of service provided. The staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant and efficient. The cleanliness of the entire property was outstanding. My room was spotless, and it was clear that hygiene and sanitation are a top priority here as for the amenities, everything promised was delivered. The facilities, including the gym, wifi. Note wifi is not provided in the room but only on the floor as the router is near the staircase overall, i highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a stay that combines budget, cleanliness, and top-notch service as i had early checkin. I will definitely be returning!

The hotel location is very close to the vivekananda memorial, thiruvalluvar statue, gandhi mandapam, sunrise view point. We had booked 2 double rooms for 4 adults and 1 child. The hotel staff was accommodative in delayed checkin and check out. However, the room was in a bad condition with moulds on the walls, not cleaned well. We had booked 2 double rooms but we got 1 room with 2 double beds and 1 additional for child.

The hotel melody park is very near beach and walkable distance for temple and you can see sunrise and sunset and it is located also walkable distance. The hotel maintenance is very clean and hygiene. Over all this hotel is very good to stay with family.
