This air-conditioned villa with garden views and mountain views have a welcome interior and a spacious outdoor area. Here, you can enjoy your first coffee of the day and listen to the sounds of tropical birds all around as the sun rises over the lofty palm leaves that flutter in the breeze. The tasteful interior area offers bright colours, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. Quality wooden furniture rounds off the cosy ambience nicely. Loved it! Best choice for our time in La Digue. Friendly, warm and helpful staff. Very flexible with check in and check out. They try accommodate requests from guests. They organise cheaper bike rentals than what they go for around the island. Nice location. Lush garden. A bit of a walk to the beach but it’s lovely because you meet the locals and get to see the place more. Loved it and highly recommend the place.

Fffay005I had no trouble finding the guesthouse. I just followed the main road from the jetty, and when I reached the right alley, there was a sign directing me to the guesthouse. The walk took 15 minutes. While the main road is paved, the alley is dusty, beware! I had contacted the owner beforehand on WhatsApp (works well and he answers quickly!) to let him know which ferry I will be on, so he was waiting for me. He also printed me a boarding pass for my return boat, and did laundry. Laundry was 10 SCR per piece. There are four rooms in the guesthouse. My ground floor room was simple but clean and in good condition. There was a king size bed, a small desk and chair, a fridge, and a closet. In the closet, there was a safe, but it was useless as it was not attached to anything so basically anyone entering the room could just carry it away under his arm. Wifi was free, unlimited, and reliable. It was fast enough for browsing, but not ideal for videos. The A/C worked and managed to cool the room down somewhat compared to outside temperatures, but it was by no means the most efficient one out there and did not meet my expectations. There were universal sockets available as well as a UK socket by the bed. The room is not very well designed as the bathroom is huge but the room itself is a bit cramped. They could have used all that extra space that is now in the bathroom for a sitting area in the main room instead. The bathroom came with a shower that only had a wall-mounted showerhead. Water pressure was adequate as such, but a handheld shower would have been nice to wash off all the sand. There is a tap outside for this purpose, but the pressure there is terrible and thus that tap is of little use. Hot water was ample. Beware that check-out is at 10 am, which is very early, and they will not store your luggage. You can leave it at the guesthouse if you wish, but that would mean keeping it unsuperwised in the open-air lobby, free for grabs. There was also no possibility to extend the check-out until later so I had to take the 7:30 am ferry instead of the more leisurely 1:30 pm one that I had originally booked. The guesthouse enjoys a good location; there is a supermarket and many eateries within a few minutes’ walk, and you can also easily reach L’Union Estate on foot. I paid 100 EUR per night, which is quite a lot considering the level of accommodations, which are perhaps at 2.5 star standards. But price levels in the Seychelles are high and even more so on La Digue.

PPengguna TetamuLocation opens up a great and beautiful view of the city and bay. Hotel is located in a quiet place where you can merge with nature. The rooms are spacious clean and well equipped (TV, air conditioner, iron, refrigerator, coffee and tea maker) separate room for storing clothes, bathroom and shower in the bathroom. It is a new hotel with a focus on cleanliness and comfort. A large and beautiful Garden/mini Park with a lot of exotic fruits. They also have turtles. Very welcoming staff. Very tasty food, very large portions. they also helped us with any questions related to transportation in the city and the purchase in the store of the essentials. We spent a day and a night in this location due to the flight cancellation, staff was very welcoming so we managed to detach ourselves from the problem of the canceled flight. We want to thank you for your hospitality!

GGuide62317500805The Sea View Lodge is a marvel. Our fully equipped self-catered apartment was nested in a tropical botanical garden rich in flowers, humming birds, geckos, bulbuls birds, warblers, myna birds, and big Seychelles tortoises. The lodge is safe. It also has a swimming pool, little bar and restaurant. All with a stunning view the bay. Sometimes, we sat by the sea on their beach chairs for sunset. We went snorkelling around the corner on the right of the bay. They was some nice coral and a wide variety of fish. We also went for walks up the hill or sometimes along the little road. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The beds are comfy and the white sheets nice and clean. We cooked in the kitchen as if we were at home and used washing machine. The owner, Barry, is a personality. He cares lovingly of his little paradise. We were very happy and felt at home away from our home. Some guests came to stay for weeks and months. Possession beach is a small quiet fisherman’s beach. No crowds, beach boys, shops and noisy tourist restaurants here. That’s why we staid there. A little road runs along the beach. The inexpensive public bus can take you to Anse Lazio beach or to Côte d’Or beach, the two main white sand swimmable beaches on this side of the island. The same bus can take you to the national park or the other side of the island. For more freedom and to visit the island, we rented a small car directly from the hotel. All reliable, friendly and simple. We went shopping in the local little grocery shop called Heyday about 2 km away. They had all we needed. For us, this place is a discovery, a new home, and we feel blessed for the time spent there.

We got off the ship at 9:30 in the morning, our plane didn't take off until before midnight. After a week of multi-island cruises, we planned a rest day before the long flight. Browsing the internet, we found the most suitable place for us. Le Manglièr guest house. Owner: Lyra Jupiter Newly built modern guest house near the airport, friendly owner who takes care of everything (transfer, meals, etc.), lots of positive feedback. Lyra was already waiting for us at the port, we arrived at the accommodation after a 15-minute drive. After check-in, he offered coffee, cake and tropical fruit. After a few hours of rest, we admire the villas hidden on the hillside covered with tropical forest from the large balcony. In the evening, Lyra waited for us with a 3-course dinner , and then took us to the airport. Everything was great. Thanks Lyra. Attila Hungary

Whilst this was the only non-5 star hotel of our trip, we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was hot with good pressure. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, but breakfast was good but simple. I especially enjoyed the crepes! The location is great, and the staff arranged bike hire for us. The staff weren't overly friendly, but were completely adequate and there were no issues during our stay. We had a lot of rain during our trip and spent most of one day in the room, so we were grateful to have the sea view room. I travelled with a friend, and the sea view room can be made into a twin room. It's just about walkable with luggage from the jetty, but we took the hotel transportation back to the jetty at the end, which cost 150 SCR.

Homemade breakfast and friendly people. The beach is about 500 meters away. And the bus stop is around the corner. Perfect place for those who love freedom, hospitality and prefer to spend money for adventures, not for luxury

Утром приносят вкуснейший завтрак (яйца, бекон или сосиски, вкуснейшие фрукты и кофе) прям на вашу маленькую веранду. Всё очень уютно и по-домашнему. Очень милый персонал. Очень заботливая и всегда готовая помочь хозяйка: наши дети не привыкли засыпать без одеял, очень о них просили. Мы попросили о одеялах персонал, они были в замешательстве от этой просьбы. А вечером принесли нам одеяла. Как оказалось, хозяйка узнала о нашей просьбе, купила и привезла одеяла для нас. Спасибо вам большое! Вспоминаем с теплотой и благодарностью) Очень удачное расположение: в паре минутах ходьбы широкий, красивый пляж и кафе на любой вкус. Живописный вид на горы с пляжа. Так же из этой точки было удобно путешествовать по острову на арендованной машине, найти которую нам тоже помогла хозяйка. Обстановка в номерах простая, но очень уютная, такая атмосфера колониального домика, особенно в холле рядом с номерами. 6 или 7 дней мы провели в Бо-Валлон Бунгалос, а затем ещё 6 дней на острове Праслин, думаю, что это хорошая идея не задерживаться в одном месте на весь период отдыха.
