I have just returned from a four night stay at this wonderful hotel. Myself and my family/friends (party of 11) amongst many others with transferred to this hotel in the early hours of Saturday morning following a cancelled TUI flight. On arrival the hotel staff had nit been made aware we were coming but fortunately had room for us all and checked us in very quickly. The rooms were clean, modern, spacious and the air con was great. My family were even moved to a larger room the following morning which was beautiful with a large balcony. The staff at this hotel are very attentive and can't do enough for you, we travelled with 4 young children and they engaged with them and made sure they had fun. The hotel is in gteat location with a short walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel offer a limited choice at meal times ( but it may have felt this way having spent 11 nights in an all inclusive holiday village prior to coming here) but all the food was very nice, you could pay extra to order off the menu and there was a good choice. A cancelled flight and 4 day delay to come home was not how we hoped to end our holiday but we were lucky we got to spend our time in this lovely hotel, we would definitely recommend it to others and would like to return here again in the future. :-)

Wow, what can I say Portakal Hotel was beyond any expectations we had. On arrival late in the evening we were greeted and shown to our room. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, giving us directions and suggestions on what to do. Dalyan centre is just a short walk from the hotel, once you get to know your way around you can cut through to walk down a smaller road which runs along the river. The location of Portakal Hotel was perfect, off the beaten track right next to the river and small ferry. Breakfast was fantastic, with an option for every member of the family. Freshly cooked, and fresh fruit each morning too. We ventured to the bar on our first evening making friends not only with other holiday makers but also with Ram the bar man, again fantastic service, friendly and offered up advice on where to visit. We ended most evenings at the bar, cocktails were fantastic, service even better. We were most definitely welcomed and made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for having us we will be sure to return.

When we first arrived we did not like our room, it had a lot of things wrong but we booked last minute and the hotel seemed full. We told Simi, the manager the following day and he moved us to a much better room as soon as one became free. The booking site said there was a gym, there wasn't, also the table tennis table had seen better days, nor was there a restaurant as also stated on ***********. However the pool area and gardens were beautiful, very clean and well kept, the typically Turkish breakfasts were fine and the cook added cooked extras. The staff were lovely, so friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a bit far out of town for us but if you are looking for peace and quiet and have a car or a bicycle you will enjoy staying here. My husband would have gone cycling if he had known there were bikes on site, I only discovered them a few days before we left. It is a Turkish hotel, not modern but fine if you know what you are getting. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay comfortable and happy. With a few tweaks this could be a really good place to stay.

We are happy with the service that we got in these 3 days in this cute property. Both me and my mom could have safe and comfortable stay. Assistances in the hotel were kind and helpful at all time. Both their smiley faces and friendliness made us feel like we really enjoy the stay and we couldn’t make any other inconveniences as a problem anymore. Thanks to them and we would go there again.

We have stayed here many times, and what makes it, is the friendliest team of staff. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with Aircon, fridge and safe. There is plenty for Breakfast (Turkish style) but they will also prepare an omelette or scrambled eggs on request. The manager Yucel and his team go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They lady in the kitchen makes wonderful lunches, when you just want to laze by the pool. The night manager Cem is very sociable and helpful, and guests will often have a chat at the bar on their return from their evening out. The hotel is in a great location, so you have easy access to everything. Many of the guests are returning visitors and over many years, so that says a lot. I have noticed that the less mobile visitors request the ground floor rooms, so they don’t have to do the stairs. The location is good as you are just a short walk to the riverside and the centre. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent stay at ARP Hotel, Dalyan. This hotel is a hidden gem right on the edge of the Dalyan Lake and looking out across to the ancient Dalyan Tombs. Owner Berk Özgen and his team of staff cannot do enough for you and go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The rooms are well equipped with regular towel change, bedding change and room cleaning. In high season I believe the boat service from the town centre to the world famous Iztuzu Beach will pick up and drop off at the hotel dock if requested. And then there's the fabulous, included Turkish Breakfast, which it has to be said is fantastic, including eggs, fruits, various cheeses and lots more all freshly prepared by the team.
