Our first room was on the 5th floor. After stepping out the first afternoon, our key cards did not work. After multiple trips to the front desk, the receptionist determined that they needed to call maintenance. Maintenance did not arrive with the correct tool and soon returned with a glorified coat hanger to break into our room. After determining the entire lock unit needed to be replaced with no estimated time of repair, we had to request to be moved to a new room as it was not offered to us. Our next room was on the 2nd floor, below ground level. The shower did not drain, the sink did not drain, the toilet was difficult to flush. There was a large and dark stain on the carpet. There was large water damage on the dresser unit. There was a broken shelf in the shower. There was no towel hook in the bathroom, only holes where a hook used to be. There was a hair on the pillow. There were stains on another pillow. When we woke up the next morning, our clothes were damp from the humidity in our room even though we had the AC running. We returned to our room late that night after attending a family wedding. Someone had been in our room and it wasn't housekeeping. The bed wasn't made and the trash hadn't been emptied. The sink drain had been closed and the sink was full of dirty water. The AC settings had been changed on our unit. We contacted reception and they were unable to offer us an explanation of who had been in our room which was very unsettling. They told us every room was full so they were not able to offer us a different room. We called around to other hotels in the area and they were unfortunately all full. We had no choice but to stay in our room feeling unsafe because we didn't know who had access. We got very little sleep in our damp sheets and checked out the next morning. I spoke with the manager 2 days later who informed me that maintenance had been in our room. No one told us before, during, or after maintenance entered our room. They didn't clean up after themselves. After my discussion with the manager, we had our 2nd night refunded. My bare minimum requirement for hotels is that they are clean and safe. This hotel was neither during our stay.

Staff was friendly and professional. Warm cookies on arrival. Room was spacious and clean with a decent view of the green lawn and shrubs/trees from the room window and the hall window. Bathroom had double sink and double shower (no tub, which was fine with us). Shelby Campbell’s restaurant was fantastic. We ate there for dinner and the included hotel breakfast. For dinner we sat at the sports bar and enjoyed whatever game was on with the bartenders and other guests. The bartenders created a very friendly atmosphere. Food was good—burgers and stepped-up comfort options made well. The included hotel breakfast was fantastic—not a buffet—you order off the menu, limited options but the usuals. I had the best veggie omelet ever. Thank you! Will stay again.

This is a convenient place to stay between Chicago and Milwaukee, off I-94. The desk clerk at check-in was friendly and knowledgeable. Not sure if all rooms are like this, or if this is what I reserved or was ”upgraded” to, but the room I had was more of a suite, with a smaller ”front room, with a TV, coffee table, and table, which was convenient for working on your computer, with the larger bedroom behind it. The property appears to be newer, or at least recently renovated. There are several restaurants in the area within a short driving distance. They offered a nice breakfast, including multiple flavors of waffles. At checkout, I did notice that beyond the nightly rate plus taxes, they attempted to charge a fee for the in-room safe, however they did remove the charge when I questioned it.

I stayed at this location a couple of days ago and every time I have stayed here it's always a really good experience and would recommend it to anyone. The room is spotless and breakfast is solid as well. During my last stay Eric the front desk guy welcomed me in and recommended a perfect pizza spot in town. He took his time during check-in and didn't make me feel rushed to get to my room; he also explained the hotel's amenities very clearly. Overall amazing customer service throughout the night and I would want him to check me in again.

I stayed here for a visit with my daughter at Parkside. The hotel is immaculate and very well kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a two queen room. The room had everything I needed and more. Very spacious with a couch, desk, fridge and microwave. I did visit the breakfast the last morning I stayed. The breakfast is from 6:30am to 9:30am. I am not an early riser so I didn't get to the to breakfast until 9:15am. The staff was not restocking as it was almost time to close. Your basic breakfast items. What was available was good. Overall, the Springhill Suites is a great place to stay. I would stay again!
