I travel solo and I prefer quiet and peaceful places where I can't hear the noise of the city or the music from the night clubs. So Nature Nest was just perfect for me. I liked everything. The room was light and spacious, a comfortable bad, a big bathroom with hot shower and a nice balcony made my stay cozy and pleasant. And it was so nice to hear the chirping of birds outside in the morning. It took me about 10 minutes to walk down to Ella and maybe a little more to walk up. And every time the walk in the nature was nice and pleasant. Sampat and Nadeeka were really helpful, they gave me many useful tips and good advice about Ella and Sri Lanka and I just had a great time talking with them. The food they cooked was really delicious and also they were so kind to give me a cooking lesson and even a ride when I needed it. I highly recommend the Nature Nest to anyone who values comfort and calmness. And I will be glad to come back if I have such a chance.

Jetwing Kaduruketha is amongst trees and fields surrounded by a mountain range which was an idyllic setting. The birdsong, butterflies and peacocks with their loud calls interrupting the peace all made for an amazing country experience. Wonderful attentive service, great food a swimming pool to cool off in all added much to make this stay a memorable one. The highlight was a taste of village food with fresh organic produce sourced from the property and surrounds cooked lovingly and expertly by the ‘aunties’ from the village made it even more special. Many thanks to all the staff from management to service who did everything possible to make our stay so very special

We had a unique and memorable 2 nights stay at the lovely Dream Catcher Resort near Ella in a place called Kitha ella. The resort is set amongst the scenic serene hills, on one side you can admire the beautiful valley and on the other side you can see the train track and the hills. The location is amazing, far from the maddening crowd of Ella town, yet just 5 minutes drive and half an hour walk to Ella town. Very close to the Kuda Ravana falls and on the way to Ella Rock. The owner and the staff are so welcoming and will do everything to make your stay comfortable. The food cooked was fresh and delicious. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The road towards the place is steep, but nothing a Sri Lankan driver cannot tackle. We had lovely early morning walks/jogs in the vicinity. Night time star gazing was amazing.

The view from the breakfast balcony was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. We asked for extra pancakes! The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. It is a short walk to the city centre - good location because it is quiet.

We have stayed in a family room for one night on a busy long weekend & wished we could stay longer there. With the narrow approach road & parking, which is common to the Ella area, we had doubts , but the owner Mr Manjula & his staff were attentive & had solutions to the comfort of every guest with no hazzle. Food was very tasty & served on time & though the place was full we were welcome any time with good sevice even at short notice. Room with Beddings & Bath were clean & nice and had enough space. View from the room balcony of Ella rock was pleasing & with greenery around, the birds were a plenty with their songs. Though it was a short stay, with their little input from staff we could use the time well & visited the surrounding attractions & it was time well spent. All in all we really enjoyed our stay & so a big Thank you to Rock side Inn.

We spent two nights here and we were comfortable even though the room was basic. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely - great food and lovely view. There’s a short, steep climb back home after going down to the main street, so you will give your calves a good stretch, but it’s worth it for the view of Little Adam’s Peak that you get in the morning. Overall a very good choice of accommodation in a small, quiet and friendly guesthouse.

I recently stayed three nights at Ella Green cottages with my soon (13) and we had a lovely experience. The cozy cottages are nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush greenery, which gave it a serene and peaceful jungle atmosphere with birds and small monkeys playing around. The cottages themselves were cozy and comfortable, with the necessary amenities to make the stay comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning. Pancakes, toast, fresh fruits, omelets and various traditional Sri Lankan foods. The host was very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make os feel comfortable and ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Ella Green cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. We had a wonderful night stay at blue ribbon homestay. Buddi was very kind and helpful. We had a beautiful room with the most incredible view! There is so much to see and go in Ella, we could have stayed 2 nights. A short stroll into town along the train track and an array of fab restaurants awaits you. We slept soundly and had a truly delicious breakfast. I’d definitely come back this is a great value beautifully run homestay.

We had the happiest two nights in Ella. The address of the hotel is in the mountains, cut off from the world. So everyday we saw squirrels and peacocks.It has a beautiful mountain view.The hotel owner is very kind，Prepared big breakfast for us every day. To come to town and lend us his motorcycle, Ten minutes to the center of Ella town. The most touching thing is that the boss also booked us a bus ticket to the next destination (local bus), and accompanied us to the station, only to see us on the bus he left. This is a great hotel choice in Ella，highly recommended to everyone
