Just back from a 16 night stay at Florimar. Lovely hotel. The staff were all amazing and very friendly. We had a slight problem on arrival when our pool and sea view room wasn't ready so we were given a room overlooking the road for one night. To be honest it was a very spacious room with TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge and would have been more than happy with it. We were relocated the following day and given complimentary breakfast and dinner vouchers as we were self catering and a fruit plate in our new room. Really can't fault the hotel. Clean and quiet in a great location with several really good restaurants minutes away. Would definitely recommend and return.

Les appartements proposés sont soit au rez de chaussée (avec une terrasse) soit au premier étage (avec un balcon). Privilégiez l’étage pour éviter les bruits au dessus de votre tête. L’ameublement est d’époque et les menuiseries d’un autre temps. Le petit déjeuner servi au dessus de la piscine est quelconque avec des produits de piètre qualité. Le pain est servi à discrétion tout comme les boissons chaudes. Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas satisfaisant à 127€ avec les petits déjeuners pour deux personnes et hors taxe de séjour.

The hotel is very dated as previous reviews mention, but very clean. The pool is cleaned twice a day and there is a lifeguard through the week. The sunbeds are uncomfortable, although as a family of 4 we never had an issue getting sunbeds no matter what time of day. Pool bar was decent and we ate lunch there most days. Staff were friendly. Cleaners changed towels and bedding twice in our weeks stay. In general the area is quite run down with alot of derelict buildings, although this is no reflection on the hotel we might have thought twice before booking if we'd known this. There also seems to be a real problem with flies in the area, every time a plate of food was put infront of us we were swarmed with flies which made eating unpleasant and stressful, again this is no reflection on the hotel, just for those reading reviews for a general idea of the area. In terms of the hotel it's fine as a base, you get what you pay for, can't fault the hotel it's basic and clean. Also take mosquito repellant, we never usually get bitten and have been eaten alive by them.
