The rooms are spacious with lots of storage. All have a terrace with great views. There are 2 terraces to enjoy the sun, a big one on the roof (unfortunately, it was very windy that day) and one on the main floor. Food is great and the owner is very kind and helpful. Lovely place to stay outside of the centre (better with a car though)

We loved everything about this hotel from the warm greeting from Ahmad to our farewell. Ahmad designed and decorated this hotel with artifacts, rugs, and cloth from his time is West Africa. Everything reflected his love of Africa. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. I loved the cloth on the bed from Dogon country in Mali. Little touches everywhere. We shared tea with Ahmed and learned about his life and his passion with this hotel. We had a delicious breakfast on the rooftop and were very lucky to watch the full moon setting over the mountains. We hated to leave and highly recommend Tin Joseph.

We stayed here as 2 families with kids, the hotel is old but is well maintained and clean in, However we got a beetle in room which was not pleasing during the visit. We also took option of half board with breakfast and dinner but food options seemed limited Staff was very courteous and helpful - overall stay was good. The bathroom need to have ventilation and kettle in room will be much appreciate

The hotel has pretty nice modern buildings but the rooms are very small and the bathroom minuscule! Very clean though. The night we were there it was windy and the hotel empty apart from maybe 4 rooms(?) We got a room with terrace faicing north and the terrace doors were so badly insulated that the curtains moved in the wind. No remote control for the A/C, no water bottle that one finds in most hotels of this price, no water kettle. In general it lacked a welcoming atmosphere. Apart from a very service minded that worked both bar, roomservice, dinner and breakfast. He was very friendly! Pool area was cosy and located in the middle of the hotel. Breakfast was a buffet made of a strange mix of things and the juices looked like they had seen better days. Of course we wanted to see the studios. This was at an extra fee of 8 euro/person. (I do think it would be smart to include this fee for the staying guests.) The studios was fun to see and well worth an hour of your life. Reading the above review it sounds bad, but it wasnt, just… ”meh”. With a little effort it has the potential of becoming a really nice hotel.

Very large property, clean , well appointed theme throughout. Dinner was great but waiter was non helpful, unwillingness to be friendly......the buffet breakfasts were terrible! Choice was: toast, cold hard boiled eggs, yogurt, unpeeled fruit, sliced cheeses, two types of cereal, ...everything was minimal including the orange juice. The staff both at dinner and breakfast were extremely rude. No friendly smile nor acknowledgement. At breakfast the same rudeness followed, unwillingness to be helpful or just to be pleasant. Being that we are westerners, i suppose they took unlikeness to us even though we were kind and polite . The property is very nice, just too bad about the wait staff , time for management to over see the whole aspect of tourism and being kind.

Had a wonderful week at Rose Valley. Lovely clean room kept spotless by the cleaners. Super kind staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Great swimming pool. Super quiet and peaceful. Loved Ouarzazate - so different from everywhere else we have visited in Morocco
