This review is for the Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel, the sister hotel to the Amfora. We visited at the end of the season and the Amfora closed early so our booking was moved. And we’re so glad it was. The Adriana is absolutely amazing. The sea view from the room was incredible. The rooftop pool and bar area are beautiful. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing - the very best hotel I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, 8 choices of milk, champagne and Belvedere vodka available for mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. No corners cut. Just absolutely superb - look no further than booking the Adriana!

We had a week stay here in mid may and.. WOW! We do not have a single bad thing to say about this hotel. It’s smart, clean & modern. We were on the fifth floor with lovely views of the sea, the rooms were all very private with no noise from neighbours and were very spacious. Modern technology with digital panels to close the curtains and turn the lights etc. Bathroom was lovely with a double sink, bath & separate shower. All of the hotel staff were so friendly as well. Food was also great, we only stayed B&B but wish we’d have gone half board due to the restaurants close by all being closed, assume they open in the peak season! Omis wasn’t too far, we walked a couple of times and paid 6euro to get back in an Uber. They hotel also helped us book a couple of excursions which were great, and provided a pack up as we missed breakfast because of the pick up times. Bus stop just outside the hotel as well takes you to Split which is handy and took about 50 mins. The pool area was lovely, clean and we never struggled for a seat. The sofa area was lovely to sit and chill in as well and it was great that they had table service, there were buzzers on every table that you press and someone comes to take your order. We had a couple of iced coffees which were the nicest iced coffee we have ever had so I’d highly recommend one of those!! We used the indoor spa and pool area a couple of times as we were pretty the only ones in there which was nice – we also had 2 massages each whilst there because the first one was so good we couldn’t resist another on our last day! We would not hesitate to stay here again, one of the nicest hotels we’ve both stayed in and I honestly can’t fault it at all.

This review is a tale of two Radissons. One good, the other.... The MOST important thing to note is that the are 2 very different buildings. One is OLD (RHS of the lobby and run numbers below 999.) One is OLD (RHS of the lobby and run numbers below 999.) The other is NEW rooms 1100 up. The old rooms are very small, tired and look out in a derelict car park covered with graffiti. Very disappointing. We stayed in the new block (premium rooms) which is delightful and 5 star in look, feel, Aircon, view and all. Pay the extra!! The buffet restaurant is ok, choice a bit limited for dinner and not much fresh fish or seafood as you might expect from a Hilton resort or Riu palace hotel. If you book your meals up front you will get a much better price and at this point they are competitive. Given that there isn't much around the hotel restaurant wise, I'd eat there again. Evening entertainment at 8pm each evening is a chilled out duo that changes. Sometime very good, never bad. Beach... Sadly the private loungers are used by the public at a cost of euro 35 perday each. These are free to hotel guests but all full by 10.30 in high season (by many euro 35 pubic). Seems a bit money grabbing that they don't keep them for guests in this 400 to 500 euro a high-season night establishment. Beach is stony, take swimming shoes. If you want to stay in it near Split this a a very nice hotel, probably the best, but split isn't anything special and we stayed to use the ferries. About euro 6 Uber away. And the elephant in the room... It's an expensive city and hotel.
