Hotel terbaik di Karlsruhe

Am Vortag eröffnetes Hotel daher an der ein oder anderen Ecke noch Bauatmosphäre, besonders draußen. Lage in unattraktivem Gewerbe-Mischgebiet, mit Auto gut zu erreichen, zur nächsten Straßenbahn sind es ca. 300m. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind modern und chic, das Frühstück hat uns auch in der Art der Präsentation und bez. der Auswahl gefallen. In dem gebuchten Hipster Studio kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank, praktisch sind auch Bluetooth-Lautsprecher für das Smartphone. Allerdings hat das Hipster Studio sicher nicht die aufgeführten 32qm! Überwiegend freundliches Personal. Zusammenfassend hat es uns gut gefallen, aktuell auch gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Hotel is closely located to the Messe Karlsruhe and easily accessible by public transportation. The look and feel of the hotel is modern in overall and is nicely done (floral-themed), the rooms clean and nicely furnished. Overall nice stay. However, two things we weren’t pleased about and also heard other people complain about: This hotel is not accepting any cash but cards only. For guests from abroad, even small bills needed to be paid with card and commission usually apply for each transaction. Totally get the thinking of the cards-only policy but it definitely is not guests-friendly at all. The other thing is that we forgot to bring our travel adapter. Not the first time but in all previous hotel, we have also been able to borrow one from the reception. From a hotel which is located closest to a venue like the Messe Karlsruhe and with almost 160 rooms, we would’ve expected that they are prepared with a few travel adapter. Fact is: they have not a single one. As said: overall nice stay and we would probably book again, if we’re going to visit the Messe Karlsruhe but otherwise, we would definitely look for another hotel.

Plus: + Value for money as such but largely depending on what deal one can make. + Reception - friendly and efficient. + City Center + Public transport (with a trade off - see under minus) + Breakfast OK but just + Bar service - coffee service excellent + Room very good equipped + Clean + Excellent but expensive garage-parking. Minus: - The Airconditioning is a bad joke! Does not work but they offer you a (good working) ventilator instead! - Avoid if possible the rooms at the frontside corner. A continuous flow of traffic and loud Trams are passing. It’s impossible to open a window without running the risk of hearing damage!

Hotel della catena B&B Hotels che ben conosciamo grazie alle esperienze positive avute in Francia, Italia e Germania, comodamente situato a breve distanza dall’ingresso sud della stazione centrale di Karlsruhe. Prenotato tramite il sito internet di B&B al costo di 78€ per una notte, due persone, colazione esclusa, posso dire che si è trattato di un ottimo soggiorno. Probabilmente il prezzo è stato un po’ oltre alla media ma, la presenza dell’ampio parcheggio gratuito in garage, collegato direttamente alla struttura tramite ascensore, è stato perfetto e ci ha permesso di girare la città anche il mattino successivo, solo questo vale un voto massimo. La camera è la classica di questo tipo di albergo (qui era presente anche un terzo letto) con bagno (dotato anche di phon) Wi-Fi, aria condizionata e, dietro al letto, una riproduzione della particolare mappa cittadina a ventaglio. Come in tutti gli alberghi della catena però, la mancanza un piccolo frigorifero è la cosa che più si fa sentire e, almeno per mio modo di vedere la stanza, aggiungerlo cambierebbe molto. In ogni caso, il gentile personale dell’albergo si è mostrato disponibile a mettere in fresco dei ghiaccioli, utili per trasportare qualcosa nella nostra borsa frigo. Grazie alla vicinanza alla stazione, basta percorrere il lungo passaggio che dall’ingresso sud porta all’ingresso principale per trovare diversi tram comodissimi per il centro città oltre a treni diretti nelle vicinanze o anche oltre e, ancora più in periodo di 9-Euro Ticket, questo è stato veramente perfetto. Un ottimo albergo, comodo, silenzioso, ben gestito, sicuramente sarebbe la prima scelta per un nuovo soggiorno a Karlsruhe.

Das Hotel macht optisch einen guten Eindruck, auch die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sauber. Das Bett war bequem, das Hotel liegt in Zentrumsnähe, insgesamt ruhig am Ende der Fussgängerzone, allerdings in Schulnähe. Über die Weihnachtstage hatten wir einen Gast für 2 Nächte dort untergebracht. Check in war in Ordnung, die ”Diensthabende” aber relativ lustlos. Über die Feiertage war die Belegung des Hotels überschaubar, das Frühstücksangebot ebenso. Dass am 1. Feiertag statt der bestellten Eier mit Bacon ein wässriger, geschmackloser Obstsalat serviert wurde, war den fehlenden Sprachkenntnissen geschuldet. Der Versuch am 2. Tag war ebenfalls ohne Erfolg, es gab nach Auskunft des Personals keine Eier mehr in der Küche. Den vollen Preis von knapp 17 EUR pro Tag für ein sehr eingeschränktes Angebot zu verlangen ist schon nicht mehr grenzwertig. Da hilft auch die kostenlose Nutzung der Mini-Bar (Wasser und Bier) nicht. Trotz Late Check out (an Feiertagen bis 14 Uhr) wurde unser Gast am 2. Feiertag um 12 Uhr aus dem Zimmer genötigt. Zumindest an Feiertagen für uns keine Option zur zukünftigen Gästeunterbringung. Es war unserem Gast leider nicht möglich, die Kritik vor Ort zu äußern, denn es war keine Person an der Rezeption - trotz 2 Stunden Wartezeit in der Lobby am Abreisetag.

Freundlicher, kompetenter Service. Große Zimmer, eben auch zum „wohnen“, mit Kitchenette (selbst zu reinigen) und Ankleide-/Abstellraum. Wir hatten nur Stühle, zum „wohnen“ wäre hier sicher ein kleines Sofa gut. Das Frühstück ist für ein 3 Sterne Stadthotel sehr gut, da übersieht man leicht den eher ungemütlichen Frühstücksraum (wobei das Geschmackssache ist;-)). Die Möbel sind zum Teil stark abgenutzt. Wirklich sauber war es nicht, aber da die Hotelwäsche ordentlich war, ist es zum schlafen und duschen ausreichend. Der Blick vom Balkon zeigt derzeit eine Großbaustelle.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, da nicht in der Stadt aber auch nicht zu weit von der Stadt weg. Kino ist auch nicht weit. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und für jeden was dabei. Zimmer ist schön und gut ausgestattet, es gibt aber leider keinen Schrank wo man evtl. den Koffer verstauen kann. Ist aber eigentlich kein Problem, es gibt eine Garderobe oder sowas ähnliches mit Kleiderbügel. Im Bad findet man einen Föhn, Hygienebeutel, Taschentücher und Shampoo mit Duschgel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt genug Parkmöglichkeiten neben dem Hotel und in der Nähe.

I have chosen Radisson Blu based on my many experiences with the hotel chain I gained in USA before pandemic, boy was I wrong to chose them in Karlsruhe. The room was clean and as on the photos, in order and ready to be used - that's about it. At the arrival I have informed the receptionist we don't have a reservation but that I could do it online right away, she promptly offered to do it herself, when I asked about the price difference I have been told ''it should be more or less the same''. Her booking was 151 euros, the online was 71 euros.. so I booked online with my phone right in front of her. We needed to leave early in the morning so we were happy to learn the breakfast is 6.30am so we confirmed our attendance. When we presented ourselves at the breakfast 6.30am sharp we have been told there was an error and it will be served later. So we waited, when we were allowed to access the breakfast the staff lady realized our room number have not been charged for the breakfast, we offered to pay at the check out as the wallet was in the room upstairs, unfortunately the lady would not bend the rule and insist on the payment before consumption. Early morning, with a hungry 7yo, after waiting already because of wrong information provided, that's not what you want to hear. Fast forward, we are about to leave just to learn the parking was not part of the deal - 17euros from 9pm to 7.30am. Unfortunately the whole experience was not over, my daughter forgot her stuffed animal in the room, when I called the receptionist asking for options on how to get it (we were hours of driving away) I have been told they are ok to hand it over to a currier if I organize one. I am genuinely asking myself if Radisson Blu is still in hospitality business, the complete lack of focus or consideration of client's needs is just striking. I have provided my review to the Radisson Blu directly using the platform I booked with, they came back with automatic answer telling me they have ''taken care'' of the issues signed. I won't come back and I won't recommend.

Aus privaten Gründen halten wir uns ein bis zweimal im Jahr für ein Wochenende in Ettlingen auf. In der Regel schreibe ich keine Bewertungen möchte heute aber die Gelegenheit nutzen mich für die immer hervorragende Gastfreundlichkeit ihres Hauses bedanken. Wir fühlen uns immer Willkommen.
