Hotel terbaik di Lille

The hotel was in a great location, however, the entrance always had one or two beggars. It was very clean and the staff were lovely. We were very disappointed by the size of our room. We booked a double room, but it did not look like any of the photos of the featured double rooms. It felt like a prison cell. There was no wardrobe, just a few coat hangers on a rail. No drawers, so we had to live out of our suitcase. The window was tiny and the view was of a grotty courtyard, and windows of other rooms. On our first night there was a constant dripping noise. This was rectified on the second night as some workmen appeared to release some water from the roof. The bathroom was lovely and quite modern, but the shower wasn't great. It was supposed to be a water saving shower, but it felt like you were showering in a mist of water. I would stay here again, however, I would specifically ask for a larger room with a much bigger window and better view. I don't usually make bad reviews, I just like to be honest. I felt like we had just been pushed into a rubbish room as we arrived late in the evening.

A very nice, quiet hotel with friendly staff. Bedrooms well away from road so no traffic noise; excellent beds and very quiet air conditioning. A wide selection of food for breakfast and coffee machine available all day. Good communal areas both inside and out including pool table, games, electric piano etc. A somewhat ambivalent attitude to smoking in the central courtyard (no smoking signs next to the ashtrays!). We stayed during the annual braderie when Lille turns into a giant second hand market for the weekend and cars are excluded. This doubled the cost of accommodation. The event was very well managed, a massive (may be ＞100,000 participants?) good natured street party for families, with an impressively efficient clear up operation on the Sunday, night moving mountains of rubbish and mussel shells overnight. The hotel is in walking distance of the main attractions, being on the edge of old Lille. The Palais des Beaux-Arts and Mussee de l'Hospice de Comtesse are unmissable and the park around the citadel a beautiful place to walk. Lots of great buildings and monuments to gaze at and many good bars and restaurants, all near to hotel.

This hotel was a little off the beaten path, there wasn't really a bus line or metro stop close by. We felt like we walked so far to get to the ”sights”, even though we walked just as far in the other cities we visited on this vacation. That being said, there were lots of fun parks and areas to walk around in. The main square had lots going on. Our room was tucked away from the street, so we didn't have a lot of noise. There was no a/c, but the window had a rolling shutter that we closed during the day to keep out the heat. It was still very hot, especially to sleep. I guess I'm just that american that is used to the a/c! We made do, it wasn't a problem. The kitchen was well set up and had everything. The bathroom was large enough. The wifi worked well. There was a big wardrobe for clothes, the bed, a desk, and table with 2 chairs. We could have used a couple of tables by the bed though. The hotel front door used a key fob to open, so it seemed secure. All the staff was very friendly. The hotel was comfortable enough, but next time I will stay somewhere a little more central to where I want to be.

I must admit - seeing some less than stellar reviews, I came very close to canceling my reservation and going with another hotel. I am glad I did not. Honestly, I am not sure why there are complaints as if everyone is perfect. The hotel is great! Beds comfortable, showers clean, views beautiful. AC works nicely. Any time I asked for help - Ambre and Nicolas were super helpful. Whether changing my room due to proximity to the elevators, to just simple reservation help in the city - they did above and beyond. And every day greeted me with a polite smile. What else can one ask for? Meals - breakfast and dinner buffet is very nice, with wide variety of food. For those complaining, my recommendation - there is SO MANY DIFFERENT CHOICES! Do not concentrate on a few you did not like, concentrate on ones you did. After all, this is what buffets are about, right? CHOICES!. They even have Big Green Egg, and they smoke delicious meat on it, from sausages to salmon! Location - a great location, close to train station and walking distance to museums, park, old city. Room Cleaning - sometimes I would leave my ”Do Not Disturb” sign a bit longer. And they would still clean the room, and would not forget the turndown service - putting chocolate on a pillow, closing curtains. Loved it. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you guys! Will definitely come back. I hope I get my 917 :)

Great first impressions: plentiful free parking next to a kind of leisure complex with green space to walk about. Efficient, friendly check in and we really liked everything about the downstairs area. Spacious seating areas with comfy chairs as well as bar/cafe area where good value breakfast was available. More seating in the garden where Ibrahim made the most delicious pizzas. We sat here both evenings and it was a really nice atmosphere. The metro station is an easy 10 minute walk and 10 more minutes into the town centre. Unfortunately upstairs is a different story. The bedrooms are so small that 2 adults struggle to walk around at the same time and it is difficult to do anything in the bathroom unless you open the door. Basic furnishing - double bed with 2 tiny pillows, TV, coat hangers. One towel is provided, others are charged at €2 each. But the worst is that it is so claustrophobic due to the small window giving little light or air. On a warm night we found it very uncomfortable and woke frequently as it was so hot. I would give downstairs 4 but the bedrooms 2 so overall 3.

there is no many restaurant around the hotel, we have to eat inside the hotel, it's quite good, and the price is not bad.
