I traveled with my husband for his work trip . At first I was not expecting much from the best western chain .in Sicily it’s different very clean . Breakfast attendants very attentive . Sicily is dry and a little tired after much of its history that being said it’s gorgeous and people are friendly if you try to communicate . Everyone from front desk to , housekeeping , restaurant front of the house persons so helpful . We were there for week and half . Pool wonderful , views from hotel entrance and side of pool amazing , overlooks the sea . Easy uphill walk to town . Grocery store nearby .Main expressway nearby . Great a/c . Outdoor / indoor Restaurant overlooks the sea / ocean . Thank you for helping us adjust to the time with such care and attitude . Molto Grazie Marie Hinojosa

Comfortable big rooms, away from the centre, as I wanted, it was quiet and very relaxing after the long days we had. The breakfast was tasty and the variety satisfying. It was clean, rooms and all the areas of it. Personel was really polite and willing to help us find restaurants, places, info about Sicily. Our room had an amazing view of Etna! A local restaurant is right next to the hotel -2min walk, which is a plus for the hotel. I definately suggest it if you have a car.

Provare per credere: tappa obbligatoria per chi transita in questa bellissima zona della Sicilia. Qui sentirete tutto il calore del Cuore enorme di questa famiglia. Basic facts about hotel are true, but description omits to say the pool is small, with only 30 beds fitting comfortably around it. The pool music is aimed at teenagers and completely out of character with the hotel and age profile of its guests. Hotel reception staff unhelpful and rude. Area around hotel is dirty and streets full of litter and unsafe to walk due to traffic. Shuttle to local town is infrequent. 25 minute walk down a very steep road. There is no beach anywhere near, you have to sunbathe on rocks. Food in restaurant very limited if on half board with a choice of only pasta or fish most nights. When asked to upgrade to a room with a balcony it was going to cost £209 more for the week but had to go bed & breakfast not half board, so more money for less meals. Unable to hire a car from the hotel, you have to go to Catania airport to pick up.

Ho soggiornato assieme a tre amici in questo B&B nel mese di giugno prenotando tramite *******. Quando siamo arrivati le camere erano diverse dalle foto caricate su *******, la doccia fatta artigianalmente perdeva acqua e non si chiudeva, la camera in se era abbastanza antiquata nel complesso. Wifi non funziona. Non è stato possibile pagare con il pos perché il proprietario ne era sprovvisto, abbiamo pagato in contati e non ci è stata rilasciata fattura/ricevuta. Non ci hanno dato le chiavi del cancello dicendoci di chiamare a qualsiasi ora che ci avrebbero aperto loro a qualsiasi ora della notte ( ci siamo fatti riguardo a tornare più tardi di mezzanotte vista la situazione delle telefonate) Elevata pulizia dell camere, asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno, disponibili per la colazione (da pagare a parte) e possibilità di utilizzare la piscina (pagando). Il proprietario è gentile

This hotel made our holiday. Granted it’s not in the best area but we absolutely loved it. The room was huge, spotless, modern and has everything you need. We were road facing so the road noise was there but it didn’t bother us as up with a 9 year old at 7am! The beds were very comfy and for Italy in our experience this is rare. The pool area was lovely, the pool wasn’t big but big enough for the amount of guests. The reception staff were all welcoming and helpful, the staff working on the bar and at breakfast were all fab and spoke good English. The breakfast was very fresh with plenty of continental choice. We also had a light lunch on a couple of occasions which was lovely. We hired a car which you definitely need as nothing in walking distance apart from a little bar/coffee place across the road. The car hire at the hotel was €100 per day but we found a local company before we flew out for £400 for the week so it’s better to look around. We managed to park at the hotel no problem. €40 in taxi from airport to hotel. Going into the city and driving was something else. Parking is hard work but overall we loved it. We have been all over Italy for the last 12 years and I must say the food we had in Sicily was truly the best. We ate a lot of fresh fish. Places to visit Mt Etna - €90 in cable car but worth it Etnaland water park €80 for 3 people but it’s amazing for families and would highly recommend Taomina - the beach was stoney but a beautiful place. Absolutely full of tourists though. Overall our second visit to Sicily did not disappoint, my family had the most amazing time. It’s not your typical ‘family’ holiday but that is why we liked it so much. We would stop at this hotel again and again and would highly recommend

Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit dans cet hôtel, la chambre est belle, spacieuse et bien insonorisée. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Seul petit hic, l’emplacement du parking pas facile à comprendre.

We needed a hotel room close to Catania’s airport because we had an early morning flight. I was reluctant to book at this hotel because it got horrible reviews. I took a chance and we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is reasonably priced, the rooms are clean and it’s really close to the airport! They have free shuttle service to and from the airport. We needed a 5am shuttle and they were right on time! We were scared to eat there after all the negative reviews, but the food and wine was great! They had a friendly staff and provided great personal service! We both had delicious pasta dishes and actually all the food looked good! The only negative was the look of the hotel outside. They clearly need to fix up the property on the outside, but I’d prefer a clean room and a good dinner! Don’t listen to all the bad reviews, this hotel is perfect for a one night stay before or after a flight!
