Hotel terbaik di Acton Bridge

My grandson and I travel to this area each December for his birthday treat and to a Christmas event qnd we've stayed at different hotels over the past 4 years. However, this hotel has by far exceeded all the others in all areas! My 8 year old grandson said ”I give it 10 pikachu's out of 10” This is one hotel that we would absolutely return to, which is a massive statement as we usually like to explore different hotels! We stayed in the Africa room (room 7) which was stunning, clean, comfortable, unique and the breakfast was outstanding!

We visited hartford Hall Saturday 11th may to sit in the lovely garden enjoy a couple of drinks with a meal. We ordered steak poached pear and Stilton salad fir both of us. The steak was so tough I could not eat it. The kitchen had run out of Stilton and informed us when we ordered we agreed to replace with feta cheese. There was only traces of feta crumbs in the salad complete disappointment. We both had deserts as still hungry. I ordered apricot tart with a crumble topping with lavender oil my daughter ordered white chocolate cheese cake with baileys in the desert. The deserts arrived. My Apriot tart had no flavour of lavender at all. The pastry cade was so hard it shattered when I tried to cut into it. The topping was dry with a consistency of sawdust.my daughters white chocolate cheesecake and baileys cheese cake had no baileys in it. The waiter came to clear down and I told him my desert was awful dry tasteless and my daughters cheese cake had no taste if baileys. He just looked at us giving the standard reply I am sorry to hear that I will give the feedback to the chef and walked off job done. I will not going back to hartford all Aby time soon. Complete waste of money. Shame because lovely garden. Come on hartford hall show you care about your customers.

Had a lovely 2 nights at this beautiful hotel. The room was very spacious and clean had everything we needed . Slept really well on the queen beds. All staff were friendly and helpful. Problem arose on our last evening and morning but was rectified soon after and we are very grateful. It is old so don't expect modern but it's lovely and got lots of character. We will be coming again

Check in was quick and easy although there was no information given about the hotel eg pool opening times other than dinner may be busy due to several coach parties being booked in. The room was clean and tidy and there was a nice handwritten note welcoming us alongside 1 single serve pack of digestive biscuits even though the booking was for 2 people. The bathroom had 2 large dispensers for shampoo and shower gel but the shampoo bottle was empty and this was only discovered once in the room. There was air conditioning which was appreciated due to the rare appearance of the British sun that day but unfortunately the unit itself was very noisy whilst running so needed to be turned off overnight. Beds were comfy and there was the option to order additional pillows from reception that wasn't needed. Check out was quick and easy and the staff did try to help us answer a question about a local bus route to aid us on our onward journey but unfortunately they did not have this local knowledge.

My partner now requires an accessible room and restaurant/bar. Our experiences within the UK is varied but up until now we have not stayed anywhere where from our point of view accessibility has been seriously thought about. Let me say now that my husband can walk a little with a walker but generally reliant on a wheelchair but does not require a hoist. The Partridge has taken accessibility (for his level of disability) seriously, our room was lovely without too much furniture and plenty of turning space, the bathroom had a raised loo, plenty of handholds & wet room shower, everything was in good condition. From the room to the restaurant there were 3 or 4 stairs with a wheelchair lift attached. Staff were willing and able to help and made the stay a pleasure. One unrelated thing to note - the bar had a menu displayed with a long list of alcohol free drinks - as the driver in our family this was much appreciated, the coffee was unusually good as well. This is definitely a place we will stay again - we booked initially to give ourselves an overnight break between the Lake District, Martin Mere and our home in Reading. Thanks to all the staff & well done!

James in operations went above and beyond when he found out we were staying for my sons 10th birthday, with balloons on the table and a 'happy birthday' desert. Fantastic stay all around. Lots to do locally, and use of the swimming pool was lots of fun for my children.

We Ate and Stopped in the Hotel at The Cat and Lion on Friday Night. The Staff we're Fantastic, From Booking in, to taking our Food Order and all throughout the Meal they Could not do Enough for you. And the Food was Exceptional. Then after a Great Night Sleep at the Hotel, In the Morning We Had a Real Hearty Breakfast , And Honestly The Full English was also a Full Plate. Which was Once Again Cooked to Perfection. And after reading the Upcoming Festive Menu, it's safe to say that not only have we Highly Recommended The Cat and Lion to Friends and Family But we will 100% be Coming Back Very Soon. Perfect place to stay for Creamfields, same price or cheaper than the competitors and overall better. Spacious room, nice bathroom and the bar was serving food until 2am which was great. We haven't tried the spa, but it's a bonus.
