Hotel berhampiran Rosemary Avenue Reserve, Adelaide

I booked the Enfield hotel through a third party for a weekend away. I had a Studio Single room and found it to be perfectly adequate for my needs. Check in was handled well. The room was spacious with a comfortable single bed, ensuite, flat screen TV and tea / coffee making facilities I believe the rooms were recently refurbished.. A simple breakfast was included in the price. The ensuite hand basin is small but has a cupboard underneath when you want to store things. A small shelf adequately holds smaller items. I found I had no bath towel, but Reception dealt with this immediately. Onsite parking is a bonus. While the hotel is open late, I heard no noise from the bars. Really didn't hear any noise from other rooms either. Your electronic room key also opens the main door after hours. If you leave early there is a box to drop your key into. i was pretty happy with staying here and would return .

Spend 4 days here during a hot spell. The room was on the second floor which was disappointing as there is no elevator and we are not spring chickens. Thankfully the lovely receptionist gave us a hand with the heavy bags. The living/bedroom was reasonably good. Bed was comfortable, fridge worked, glasses, cups, plates all in place. AC worked well but it was noisy. The room itself was adversely affected by road noise; the room looked out on the main (Portrush) road out the front. We left before 10:00AM each day, the room was made up on the first 2 days, it wasn't touched on the third. There were no supplies to wash your own dishes (scourer, tea towel, washing up liquid etc). The bathroom was a bit of a mixed bag, the shower itself was OK but one soap dispenser was half hanging off the wall. The toilet roll holder was being held together with blue tac (not very well I might add). There were no parking spots available when we returned after 12 midnight on NYE. Each room does not have a dedicated parking place. After the 4th day of hot weather, the bins that were placed near the entry doors reeked. The worst part of the whole experience however was the pool was closed during our stay due to some undisclosed maintenance issues that the owner had been unable to rectify - I gather - for some time. Another positive that should be mentioned, the laundry (one washer, one dryer) is free. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The people working here could not be faulted - very friendly and welcoming. The place itself also presented well, with the room clean although in some areas a little worn. So, location - not bad. Outside the CBD, but frankly we are talking Adelaide so it's not that far out. It is basically an apartment block - no restaurant associated with it, so do not expect to be able to get dinner or room service, or for that matter a 'welcome drink' glass of wine if you are an Accor member. I did get some chocolate and two bottles of water, as well as a handwritten welcome note, so that was nice. On check in they did say that they normally do not service the rooms every day, but could arrange to do so if I wanted - and as I was staying for only three nights I said not to bother. Wifi - works, but not super fast (under 2Mbps down, 0.04 Mbps up). Maybe it was having a seniors moment whilst I was there, but be aware you may end up needing to use your mobile data for anything more than basic email. I had a room on the fifth floor - nice and large with two separate bedrooms either side of a lounge area, as well as a long balcony with some chairs and a table. As you walked into the room, the lounge was directly in front and to the left was the kitchen and to the right the combined laundry & bathroom. For a home away from home, this worked well. You can walk out the back and you are behind a Woolworths that is inside a small shopping area. There are a number of other shops in the centre from a cafe to BWS to a chemist - I wandered down and got some supplies from Woolworths to cover my dinner/breakfasts for the three nights I was staying. Outside the centre there was a restaurant or two and if feeling active, a McDonalds and other take away options about a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen had a full size fridge. It was clean and worked well, but there were some cracks on the inside. There was a bracket stuck to the outside of both the freezer and fridge compartment doors where no doubt they used to be connected to the external wooden door panel - but it would have been a little weird as the single wooden door would have meant when you opened the wooden door, both the freezer and fridge doors would open. Maybe that's why they separated them, or maybe it came from a different apartment. Anyhow, it meant that to access the fridge or freezer you need to open the large wooden door and then reach in the crack between the wall and the side of the fridge to grab the door and pull. Inside the fridge was a collection of those single shot UHT milk containers you could use when making tea or coffee, and speaking of which there was a nespresso pod machine with four unmarked pods (two gold, two brown - maybe decaf and normal? No idea.). The kitchen had a small induction top, oven & microwave oven, and dishwasher. The stove top did not work initially, until I found the separate power switch on the wall that turned it on. Central location, everything is walking distance. The parking is a tight squeeze. Friendly staff. Decor is a little dated. Currently theirs construction happening around the hotel, so just be aware of that.

I suspect this motel has recently been taken over by its next-door neighbour and may be undergoing renovations. They're certainly painting outside. Hopefully they'll do the inside as well ... To check in, you have to go next door to the Adelaide Royal Coach. This wasn't mentioned at all during the booking process. It wouldn't be an issue if you didn't have to cross a road and wait for traffic lights to get there and back when checking in and out. Somewhat annoying. The room had everything you needed (aside from Wi-Fi - and you're told there's none when you make the booking). The bed was very comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet at night - even with the Fringe in full-swing. I expected a lot of traffic noise. The room definitely needs renovating. Shower curtain rather than screen, toilet seat that doesn't fit the toilet, etc. Any other location it would be about an $80 room. However, it's within easy walking distance of North Terrace, etc., which was the reason I chose it.

The hotel is located on a side road which is easily missed.We had to take another turn to locate it. Car parking is at a public location just down the road. The hotel which is fairly new is well equipped and conveniently located within walking distance of Rundle Mall and the train station. The only complaint I have is that the water draining from the shower area may overflow into the toilet area and entrance to the toilet. Apart from this minor issue,the hotel is excellent in most aspects. The staff are responsive and pleasant. As a side note,Club 129 down the alley and opposite the train station,serves a decent meal with promotions throughout the week.

The room and staff were great. However, there were sounds coming from the ceiling fan in the bathroom, sounds which very much seemed like there were rats up there.

Perfect location for our drive Perth to Melbourne, easy access from and to the highway. Spacious, clean room with table, couch, TV, aircon and very comfortable bed. Ensuite a little outdated but the room had been freshened up. We had trouble connecting to the wifi. The restaurant was closed on our visit but we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be aware that while there is a 'late check-in' window, a sign on the door said that reception hours had changed to 8am - 8pm (when we booked the site said it was open all night... it might be wise to check ahead if you're likely to be later) Good, clean accommodation. We had a good stay.

We stayed 5 nights for WOMADelaide. The location is a 20-minute walk or a few stops on the free city bus to WOMADelaide. A few extra stops and you arrive in the city centre. Our room was a one bedroom apartment. It was well equipped with kitchen and laundry with laundry powder supplied. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was clean. The windows open for fresh air. Staff were very friendly. The entire experience was of a well run establishment that cares about the customer experience. Restaurants and food shopping is a short walk away. It is a $30 cab ride to the airport. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
