Ottimo Hotel, peccato la posizione. abbiamo avuto la fortuna di alloggiare nella suite. Due camere spazione, pulite e luminose, peccato per il bagno cieco e la grande terrazza condiva con un altra stanza, basta poco aggiungere dei vasi, una separazione minimale per evitare di trovarsi davanti alla propria finestra i vicini di stanza. Personale gentile ed attento. Posizione comoda per la visita alla Valle dei Tmpli, ma non se si volesse visitare la citta di Agrigento. La cena di classe nella norma come la colazione per un 4 stelle.

We only booked this place because we needed to leave early the next day to visit some sites. We spent the day at the beach and to finish the day we decided to return to the hotel and enjoy the pool. However, our fun was cut short as the guard on duty did not allow us to stay without a shower cap. Now, I have travelled to a bunch of countries and this was a first for me (born and raised in Rio de Janeiro). I did argue with the reception, but this was a hotel rule that only exists in their mind. After, that we didn't go in the pool at all. So we paid for a hotel with a pool and we were not allowed to use it. Rooms have old and broken furniture, and breakfast is least to say average. So, no reason to stay at this dump. I DO not recommend and I will NEVER go back to this place.

Stayed with a tour group. First impressions were good-really ornate smart lobby area but sadly went downhill quite quickly. Spiral staircase not very practical for a hotel when everyone comes with luggage. Beds too soft & squeaked badly. Soundproofing wasn't anywhere near good enough for the standard of hotel. Ordered to sit at specific tables at breakfast but not told about this on check in. Some items were not being replenished very quickly at breakfast & wasn't easy to see where to find what you wanted. Hotel on a busy road in an industrial area. Lidl supermarket next door, one pizzeria down the street, another is advertised but wasn't open when we looked. Otherwise very limited facilities in the immediate area. Evening meals are served at the hotel but no pizzas and menu choices there were had higher prices than any other places we ate in Sicily so didn't bother. Dinner service doesn't open until 7.30. Shame did not get to use the pool but was glad to only be staying one night. Would not recommend.

The Doric was absolutely an outstanding resort. Every room had a swimming pool (not just a dunk pool) with lounge chairs and a huge glass door opening up to the valley. The staff, especially Katia, could not do enough for us. Their service was second to none! The food was outstanding, the wine was delicious and the cocktails were superb! The grounds were impeccably manicured with a beautiful view of one of the temples on the other side of the valley. Looking forward to going back and spending a few more days in such a relaxing atmosphere.

PPengguna TetamuWow what an amazing place to stay the staff are lovely and friendly. The rooms are something else modern merged with some history . A highly recommend this property within feet of some really great restraunts. When arriving by train exit the station turn to your left and cross the road walk a few meters up the hill where the buses go .. when you reach the park on the left to walk through the park and follow the road ahead and you will get to the accomodation a lot faster. The roads are narrow and you will pass a lot of shops and eateries its a 10 minute walk to the accomodation.

Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, and great hospitality, sums up the description of this gorgeous estate. Marco greeted us with a warm welcome and introduced us to the staff and his family who live on this vineyard. It was all very elegant, as well as being personal. Snacks of wine and cheese, as well as breakfast, could be enjoyed outdoors as you view the beautiful vineyards and hills. The abundance of birds was a real treat! We definitely recommend a stay here.

We booked this place through Zicasso and were blown away. It’s in a remote location next to olive groves and we had to use a taxi to visit the Valley of the Temples, but this is a perfect place to spend time in. The staff is incredibly friendly and go above and beyond. Our room had a balcony overlooking the garden, so a shout out to or travel agent on that! Breakfast was downright regal and served in the picturesque sunroom. We spent early evenings in the courtyard and in the garden, where we were brought snacks to go with our drinks. Dinner was spectacular, complete with a fantastic wine list and absolutely incredible dishes. The octopus was the best I’ve ever had and the sea bass was tender and flavorful. I remarked that we had to leave after our two-night stay but were sad to leave, and the maître d' shook my hand and thanked us for coming. If you’re visiting Sicily, don’t skip Agrigento and this absolute gem.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He recommended the Agora cafe which was so good we visited multiple times. The beautiful garden and private parking is a bonus. Our room had a private outside space which was lovely to have. The location is quiet, away from the main road. It is worth mentioning that the approach is an uninspiring main street but when you enter the gates of the Villa Concordia and find that the drive to the Valley of the Temples is very short it all makes sense. It is worth a trip into the old town, we had a really lovely meal in the restaurant Krokos. The buses don't run late so if you are looking for a taxi back to the villa, we used Taxi Agrigento H24 Tony Palermo who was excellent.

Sympathieke sfeervolle suites, in de sfeer van de oude stad. We hadden een ruime kamer met klassieke styling en badkamer met ligbad, en uitzicht op de oude binnenstad. We konden parkeren voor de deur na een avontuurlijke uitdagende rit door de wirwar van kleine straatjes. In onze gehuurde fiat 500 nog net te doen …lekker bed en kussens. Absoluut een aanrader en betaalbare prijs per kamer. ( als je niet net als ik 3 keer vastliep op ******* , en ineens 4 kamers bleek te hebben.. benieuwd hoe dat opgelost gaat worden.. nu heerlijk slapen na een heerlijk diner bij de tip van de eigenaresse op het nabij liggende plein bij een michelin restaurant… la vita es bella

Attention il n’y a pas d’acces direct de la chambre au coin piscine/repas, il faut un peu marcher (grimper). Pas de problème pour nous mais peut-être un peu gênant pour des personnes plus âgées. Il y a un service de petites voiturettes pour les bagages!

I proprietari hanno saputo accoglierci in modo eccellente qualche ora prima che il check-in fosse disponibile. La camera è spaziosa, con finiture ricercate e ben ventilata contro il forte calore della zona. Il bagno ad uso privato è degno di un hotel a 5 stelle. Al mattino seguente ci è stata portata la colazione fresca di pasticceria, all'orario e con i prodotti concordati insieme il giorno dell'arrivo. Si trova a pochi passi dalla via principale della città e a pochissimi minuti di macchina dall'ingresso della famosa Valle dei Templi. Qui mi sono sentito da subito in famiglia e so già dove tornare per visitare la bellissima Agrigento in futuro. Consigliatissimo!

We stayed at the hotel first week of November coming to the end of season in Minori and booked before reading into the hotel as we found a good deal. It’s worth knowing before booking that the hotel does not have parking available and our parking costs equated to approx 100 euros for the week which we did not anticipate. Additionally the use of the pool was not available due to the time of the year which was frustrating as the temperatures were still as high as 22/23 degrees. Furthermore, the room was hot and the air conditioning units do not work after November, we were simply told to open the balcony doors for fresh air. It should be noted that the noise of the traffic outside the hotel even out of peak season made it feel like i was sleeping on an F1 track. The plug sockets were irritatingly situated in the room, only 2 available which was awkward when trying to charge phones and no where near the bed when relaxing. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with fresh bedding and towels every day - the housekeepers do a fantastic job there. All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, I just wish we visited Minori in the summer to appreciate the hotel fully.
