Good hotel in a convenient location. Nice and spacious rooms and good service. Just the checkout could be a little longer as it’s at 10am.

When we originally booked here as we wanted to to be right next to the hot springs on top of the hill. Little did we know we were lucky to have been at the best hotel in this man made town! The hot springs are literally behind the hotel. Lots of shops will rent you a towel as well. The staff at Taypikala were excellent, friendly and very accommodating. For our entire stay they treated us as family. A special thank you to Melissa who went out her way to make our stay extraordinary!! We also wanted to note the complementary breakfast was great and the perfect fuel before our hike to Machu Picchu. Would highly recommend and will stay again on our next visit to Peru!

The river view was the most spectacular I’ve seen. Perfect location to explore machu pichu. Staff met us at rail station. Elmer couldn’t have been more helpful and polite . The beds were comfortable, we were provided with complimentary water. Tea , coffee and water were available 24hours

If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I would! From the minute we got off the train at the Machu Picchu train station, we were immediately greeted by Inkaterra Staff awaiting our arrival. They whisked us away to a beautiful property that is steps away from the train station, but the beautiful serene property filled with lush green plants makes you think you are a world away from civilization. We stayed in a suite and I highly recommend this room. It was spacious. There is a fireplace available, if desired. There is a private outdoor patio area with seating. Blankets are available, if chilly. There is an outdoor heated pool, which was excellent for cold rainy days that we experienced exploring Machu Picchu. It was so peaceful back there. There is also an indoor or outdoor shower, for preference. Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping provided heating bags for the beds in the evening hours, which we loved. The mini bar was complimentary with snacks and drinks. Replenished bottled water daily. It seemed as though they kept bringing us snacks daily such as chocolates or fresh fruit! The service was incredible! We opted for the half board option, which came with free breakfast and dinner. Dinner included appetizer, entree, and dessert. Each meal was delicious with quick service. We had complimentary drinks one night with a Pisco Sour drink, which was excellent! I can’t say enough good things about this property. It is beautiful, peaceful, and serene. Even when it was rainy and cold, I felt like I was in another calm world and still loved every minute of it. The staff go above and beyond in multiple ways to make the experience special. I did not want to leave and would love to return!

Luis Manuel went over and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The hotel is conveniently located to the train and bus stations. The room and its amenities were amazing. Whirlpool bathtub (with candles and bath salts included) overlooking the Urubamba River. Other world class hotels in Aguascalientes are overpriced and do not have half the offerings and are not close to the train station.

El hostel está en una zona muy cómoda, cerca de la estación de tren y bus. El área de recepción, podría mejorar. La habitacion,muy cómoda y limpia Tuvieron un inconveniente con el agua caliente ,pero se solucionó finalmente. No brindan con la tarifa, toallas, cosa que deberían aclarar en la reserva. Pero si las alquilan. El personal,súper amables, trataron de solucionar todos los inconvenientes. Algo a destacar, nos permitieron guardar el equipaje después del check out, mientras subíamos a Machupicchu y nos prepararon para llevar el desayuno. También, por la tarde, mientras esperábamos el tren se regreso, pudimos cargar los celulares .
