This business needs a huge overhaul. It is unacceptable to rob guests with such terrible accommodation. I had booked 10 days in this place. Upon my arrival after a long trip with my heavy backpack, the receptionist ignored me as I waited for her to greet me. What a greeting! 'You will need to bring your rubbish in the bin before you leave; you will be given fresh linen in four days; you need to sign in to the internet every time you use it; you will need to do the dishes before you leave' etc...No welcome words, only orders. I felt I was signing in to jail! I have been in hostels in the past, am well travelled and I manage my expectations, but this was far worse than any hostel, airbnb, hotel, or residence I have ever been to. Upon entering my studio - I would not call it an apartment, I found the shower head dirty, the wastebasket dirty, the walls bare of any decor except for a cheap frame. There was only ONE plastic hanger in the closet, with all the others broken. In the kitchen, there was a 2oz bottle of washing detergent and not much at all, not even a coffee maker, just a kettle. There was only one roll of toilet paper for my 10 day stay. No one was ever at the reception except early in the mornings. You could not reach anyone in the afternoon or evening. When I ran out of toilet paper, I asked on my way out to have a few rolls dropped in my room. Upon my return that night, nothing. Luckily I met some guests who were sitting outside (equally unhappy with the residence), who saved me and were most kind, bringing me a roll. When the next morning I asked for toilet paper again, after having left a note at the unstaffed reception desk, I was finally given some. But fresh towels after 4 days? The response was ”well, I don't know, I have to ask my colleague...” I could not believe the staff's attitude. I was happily able to find a place 8 days later and could not leave soon enough. (Unfortunately, in high season and at the last minute, accommodations are nearly impossible to find in Aix.)

The poor judgment is mainly given by the following factors. Failure to clean the room daily, as written in the voucher: in the Hotel formula (1-4 nights) it says Daily cleaning. Which, in my country, means clean the room every day. Despite my requests to the reception staff, already on the second day, no one came to clean the room, nor to carry out the garbage. On the third day the manager (I think she was) told me that cleaning was not included and that the voucher was wrong! only after the third night, the day before checkout, a lady came to bring towels and toilet paper. Stop. Upon arrival in the bathroom there was half a roll of toilet paper, half a bottle of soap and that's it! i had to ask for toilet paper at reception. In the end I asked the manager why the towels hadn't been changed also in the first 3 days, she gave me confused answers, apologizing. Another thing: on the second day I reported that a shutter was broken, it did not lower; I have said it several times, no one came to fix it. We slept with the light coming into the room at 5am. Finally, the cleanliness of the room was definitely lacking (I have pictures). Dust everywhere, parts of the furniture that hadn't been cleaned in months. What bothered me the most is having approximate and inconclusive answers from the staff. Nobody really went out of their way to give us what we paid for: a clean and efficient room.

4-night stay Upside: (1) Space - limited-service apartment concept. Separate bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchenette, living room & balcony (within dining table) (2) Location - nearby supermarket & gym (not affiliated with Adagio); walking distance to the old town (3) Laundry room - located near reception; takes credit card payments; but there's only 1 washer and 1 dryer, so plan ahead (4) Quiet - inward facing apartments don't get street noise and face a pleasant internal courtyard Downside: (1) Air-conditioning issue - apparently, there was an ongoing air-conditioning fault affecting some apartments, including the first apartment we were assigned at check-in. Also, apparently, guests were supposed to have been informed about this, but we weren't. None of the correspondence we received prior to check-in mentioned it, neither did anyone mention it at check-in. Initial response when we queried why the apartment wasn't getting cool was the offer of a standing fan. This was completely unacceptable given the high summer temperatures (>30C) in a west-facing (afternoon sun) apartment. It would have been too uncomfortable to sleep, even with a standing fan. Not to mention the lack of transparency. After further enquiries, including regarding repair timing (several days!), suddenly another apartment, with functioning air-conditioning, became available. As Adagio is part of a major international hotel brand, issue could've been better handled by offering affected guests, whether in advance or at check-in, the option of (a) transfer to a similar-class property (in-network or otherwise) at no cost; (b) full refund; or (c) fully-transparent ”informed” acceptance of apartment with faulty air-conditioning.

エクサンプロバンスのバスターミナルに近く、スーパーマーケットも近くにあって立地場所は良い。 部屋は広くはないが、キッチンやIHレンジ、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、食器、調理器も揃っていて便利だった。 チェックインは、セルフチェックイン方式で部屋の鍵はキーボックスから入手するが、受付は日曜日や夜間は基本的に不在で、平日も閉鎖されていることがある。したがって、サービスは全く期待できない。Trip.comで予約時に、ホテルに電話して確認するように連絡があったが、電話が繋がらないことが多く、キーボックスの解除番号を知らずに現地に行ったので鍵を入手できず、初日は他のホテルに宿泊することになった。翌日、現地の人に頼んで、電話やメールで連絡を取ってもらったが、キーボックスの解除番号を通知してもらえず、受付も閉まっていたため2日目も宿泊できなかった。キーボックスの解除番号の連絡を受けたのは3日目の朝で、4泊分の予約支払いをしたが、2泊しか泊まれなかった。他の宿泊者に聞くと、***********で予約すると、ホテルに問い合わせなくてもSMSに解除番号の連絡をもらえるそうなので、Trip.comで連絡をもらえないのは予約システムに問題があると言える。今回Trip.comを初めて使ったが、予約システムを信頼できないと二度と使う気がしない。

This was the best place we stayed in Provence. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was beautiful and had a bath and a private terrace. The staff were so friendly and professional. Nothing was a problem. Some reviews said it was too far from the town centre but we found the location excellent and it was very quiet at night. We are used to walking.

Viaggio organizzato da agenzia viaggi, di tre giorni e due notti. La struttura non molto curata, con camere stile motel americano, direttamente pianoterra davanti a zona verde trascurata, bagno senza finestra con ventola non funzionante. Cena servita in un locale tipo refettorio con lunga tavolata. Cibo pessimo. Personale abbastanza inesperto. Acqua compresa imbevibile al cloro. Piscina non accessibile oltre le ore 19 pertanto mai utilizzata, essendo praticamente impossibile durante i tour rientrare prima di tale ora in struttura. Nota positiva colazione abbastanza varia e buona e salviette cambiate ogni giorno. Distante dal centro, impossibile uscire la sera a piedi per fare un giro.

We recently spent four nights here and i can't rave enough! We made reservations primarily based on reviews we read here and we thought the hotel was even better. We were traveling as a family with our teenage daughter and booked the junior suite which was perfect. A large room by European standards and it was perfect. We had a fold out twin bed and we could move around the room with it open. The location was great - close enough to everything but not overrun by street noise and busy crowds. We walked to dinner every night and one restaurant was better than the next. We spend one day in Aix-en-Provence and did day trips the other days. There was so much to see and visit in the area but more about the hotel. The front desk staff were so nice and so helpful. Mostly younger but so attentive and helpful making reservations for us, changing tickets to a site we booked when our daughter wasn't feeling well and offering great suggestions. The breakfast was also a big hit. I would recommend getting it included. There is a beautiful outdoor garden to eat in. Plentiful food and great variety from bacon and eggs to a continental breakfast of pastries and fruit. Lastly, we booked the parking spot which was a big plus. It was a short walk from the lobby and it was great to not have to worry when we returned from our adventures about where to park. Can't recommend enough. We look forward to returning.
