Went 8 years ago and came back. Even better this time round, for my wedding anniversary trip! Food is amazing - really tasty and the variety is incredible. There is something for everyone and the hammam experience is really relaxing. Totally recommend - beautiful hotel and great value for money!

Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Ein besonderes Highlight des Hotels ist das hauseigene Restaurant, das eine Vielzahl von köstlichen Gerichten aus der lokalen und internationalen Küche serviert. Die Qualität des Essens ist erstklassig und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist angenehm und einladend. Das Hotel verfügt auch über gut ausgestattete Tagungsräume und bietet eine Vielzahl von Dienstleistungen für Geschäftsreisende an. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, da es in der Nähe von Strand und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. 19.09.2021 tarihinde eşim ile birlikte bir haftalık tatillimiz için otele giriş yaptık. Ve otel beklentilerimizi karşılamadığı ve bazı olumsuzluklarla karşılaştığımız için birkaç gün sonra Trip Advisor’e otel hakkında olumsuz bir yorum yaptım. Bugün tarih 23.09.2021 eşimle birlikte Ala Carte restaurant revezvasyonu yaptırmak için Adı Haktan olan görevlinin yanına gittik. Kendisine Ala Carte Restaurant rezervasyonu yaptırmak istediğimi söylediğimde oda numaramı sordu. Oda numaramı verdiğimde hakkımızda kötü yorum yapmışsınız dedi bende evet dedim. Kötü bir uslüp ve sinirli bir şekilde bana bakarak neden olumsuz yorum yaptınız diye bana çıkıştı. Bende yorum yapmamın en doğal hakkım olduğunu söyledim. Kendiside insan ekmek yediği yere ihanet etmez gibisinden şeyler söyledi ( 8 yıl önce Melas’ın başka bir otelinde çalışmıştım ) Bende şu anda burda bir çalışan değil misafir olarak bulunduğumu söyledim. Ve o sırada otel genel müdürü adı Ateş olan kişi yanımıza geldi ve aynı şekilde kaba bir üslupla benimle tartışmaya başladı. Kendisinede aynı şekilde otelden memnun olmadığımı ve yorum yazmamın en doğal hakkım olduğunu belirttim. Koskoca bir otelin genel müdürünün bana söylediği sözler şunlar oldu. MELAS OTELİN NASIL BİRYER OLDUĞUNU BİLİYORDUN NEDEN O ZAMAN BURAYA GELDİN!!! Ben bu sözler karşısında gerçekten şoka girdim ve kendisine bir müşteriye bu şekilde konuşulmayacağını ve bu berbat otele geldiğim için çok pişman olduğumu söyledim. Tartışmayı fazla uzatmamak adına adı Haktan olan görevliye dönerek lütfen rezervasyona devam edebilirmiyiz dediğimde çok kaba bir konuşma tarzı ile bugün bütün Ala Carte restaurantların dolu olduğunu söyledi. Peki yarın ve diğer günler için sorduğumda aldığım cevap aynı oldu!! Yani sadece bulunmuş olduğum otelden memnun olmadığım ve Trip Advisor’e otel hakkında olumsuz yorum yaptığım için hayatımda hiçbir 5 yıldızlı otelde karşılaşmadığım bir muameleye maruz kaldım ve hakkım olan Ala carte restaurant hakkım verilmedi!! 12 yıldır turizm sektöründe çalışmış ve birçok otelde ( yurt içi ve yurt dışı ) tatil yapmış birisi olarak bu kadar seviyesiz ve basit bir eleştiriye dahi tahammülü olmayan insanlar görmedim. Ve tüm yasal haklarımı sonuna kadar kullanacağımı burdan bildiyorum.

ihi itibari ile 22.07.2021 tarihi itibari ile hala otelde konaklamaktayım 2 gündür daha önce gittiğim hiçbir otelde karşılaşmadığım durumlar yaşanıyor 2 gün daha buradayım bakalım daha neler göreceğiz ama daha şimdiden bir daha bu otele adım atmam diyebilirim.. Yemekler lezzetli ama seçenek az ve baharat kullanımı çok fazla. Barlarda ki personellerin yetersiz olduğunu düşünüyorum 1 kişi haricinde o arkadaşında ismini unuttum. Kokteyller ve alkoller ne yazık ki kötü, snack barlar da yiyecek bir şeyler bulmak şansınıza kalmış. Şunu kulaklarımla duydum patates im yok abi pilav vereyim mi dediler. Kardeşim dedim mevlüte mi geldik. Böylesi ilginç durumlar yaşanıyor. Bar havuzun dibinde olmasına rağmen havuz başına bardakta alkol veya içecek götüremiyorsunuz. Karton barda veriyorlar onlar da çok kalitesiz içecekler zaten kötü karton bardak da iyice laçka oluyor. Bir başka konu havuz sadece çocuk havuzu dışında 140 sürekli ayaklarınızın üzerindesiniz. Ve en canımı sıkan konu öğlen yemeği için havuzdan çıktık kurulandık yemeğe geçtik. Tabaklarımızı aldık masa arıyoruz bir dayı geldi beyefendi ıslaksınız sizi dışarı alayım dedi. Ne münasebet dedim koltuklar ıslanıyor dedi eee dedim yani burası tatil yeri değil mi kapıda adam kurutma makinesi varda ben mi görmedim yada sırf yemeğe geleceğim diye bir saat önce havuzdan çıkıp kendimi güneşin altına mi yatırayım bu ne mantıksız bir istek dedim canım sıkıldı açıkçası ve bu gibi durumları otele gelme niyeti olanlar ile paylaşmak istedim. Çalışanların büyük kısmı güler yüzlü bar çalışanları haricinde otel teniz bir otel ancak eskiliğini belli ediyor yanlarına yapılan yeni otellerin gölgesinde kalmış ve yenilenmeye ihtiyacı var. Kapalı otoparkı var bu kısmı hoşuma gitti. Denizde iskelesi yok ne yazık ki ve otelin denize mesafesi bir miktar fazla deniz derin ve genelde dalgalı. Çevre otellerin sahilinde çeşitli aperatif yiyecek, içecek, müzik gibi aksiyonlar varken bu otelde be yazık ki hiçbirisi yok. Son olarak uzun lafın kısası otelin yenilenmeye zihniyetini değiştirmeye ihtiyacı var. Etrafındaki oteller gümbür gümbür yeni bir çok etkinlik yapıyorlar . Ve bir vizyonlari var bi yazık ki Melas Lara da bunu bulamadım. 2 gün daha buradayım umarım son iki günüm iyi geçer yine restauranttan falan kovulmayız ıslağız diye . Herkeze iyi tatiller.

Highest rating. The highest praise and respect to the team that makes the all-inclusive service with attention to all the details. And to those who are always dissatisfied with negativity about the temperature of the sea water and the lack of tissue paper in the rooms, I will say this: We are absolutely lucky with water and smoking is harmful to your health.

Hotel Melas Lara is an excellent hotel. Would I go here again? Yes, I would. I've been to several hotels in Turkiye multiple times, so I also compare these experiences with others. I've read positive comments about the food, and I can confirm this. It's one of the best hotels in terms of food quality. What sets it apart is that the food in all restaurants is freshly made. For example, during breakfast, the scrambled eggs are genuinely made by stirring many eggs. In most hotels, water is added to a dry mixture. Other dishes are also freshly made, with plenty of variety and delicious flavors. In the main restaurant, there's a different theme every evening. There was also an Asian theme, and for example, sushi was served. If the Japanese had seen this sushi, they would have declared war on Turkiye. It was really poorly made. Tip: stick to the themes where you excel. However, the Turkish theme was absolutely delicious. All dishes were delightful and a showcase for Turkish cuisine. At the pool, you're served and food is made to order. There, too, you get the freshest food. At the beach, food is also made to order, and you're also served. There's also a daily buffet with doner, rice, salads, etc. It's true that the food can often be lukewarm to sometimes cold when eating from the buffet. This also applies to the restaurant. Apparently, they can't keep the food warm. Also, there's not always a sign indicating what each dish is, which can be quite annoying for people with allergies. But as far as I'm concerned, still by far the best hotel in terms of food. The à la carte restaurants provided mixed experiences. The Turkish restaurant was fantastic. Really delicious! However, the seafood restaurant was a disappointment. The fish was overcooked, and the menu wasn't well composed. The view, however, was spectacular. 80% of the staff are really super friendly and they really try their best for you. Very sweet and genuine. 15% just do their job, and 5% are really worthless. The people behind the pool bar never smile. What a huge difference from other staff who work hard and run for you. I love good coffee and saw in the lobby bar that they had a professional coffee machine where you could make ground coffee with the right pressure. I asked if I could have coffee from it. Eventually, I got coffee from the Nescafé machine with the message that both machines are the same. It seemed more like the bartender didn't want to do extra work because as a coffee lover, you can't convince me they're the same. I might not come back to the hotel for this reason. Additionally, I often drank alcohol-free cocktails in the evening. I often had a mojito, and my children had other cocktails. I don't know how they do it, but I never had the same mojito twice. I even got one with alcohol once, very bad! From that moment on, I always tasted my children's cocktails first. But anyway, I've never stayed at a hotel in Turkey known for its cocktails, and Melas Lara is still not known

This is our first time in Antalya and we had an excellent stay. The hotel is clean and our room was a good size. The staff are very warm, friendly & helpful. They are genuinely interested in you and willing to engage in conversation. They had a wide variety of food to choose from. There is always something on offer throughout the day. The patisserie is an added bonus. The hotel amenities are varied and we always found something to do during our stay. They offered a wide variety of activities both for adult and children. Special shout out to Ebru & Arif at the restaurant. They made us feel so welcome. Very attentive and couldn't do enough. Also to Leyla who kept our room clean. A suggestion to management would be to offer a free shuttle service to the city centre even if it's only once a day. This will be helpful for first time visitors who are not familiar with the area. They can orient themselves with what is available and with the public transport system. If a shuttle service is not possible, perhaps the hotel can provide better and clearer information on the public transport sysyem especially on the buses that can take guests to the city centre, information like which bus number, bus stops, the cost of tickets and where to buy them from.

Well, just coming to an end of a 2 week stay at the Melas Lara. Our second stay here, last one I believe 2021 and this was just as enjoyable. Weather varied, a few nice days, but it is December and a few wet ones. I always believe in being as honest as I can and will definitely forget to mention some things. The most important point, and this goes for the majority, if not All hotels on the Turkish coast, with inflation circa 60% and interest rates at 40% it’s a wonder they survive. After stating the above, you would not know that these financial matters existed as they do not lower the high standards they set. The hotel and rooms are kept spotless by a dedicated team of cleaners and yes, the decor is a little dated and we would prefer a walk-in shower, but it has not affected our stay whatsoever. There was always an excellent choice for all meals and the quality is excellent. One of the things I always mention is the provision of a Microwave because, we love our hot food to be hot and this hotel provides one. The restaurant was supplemented with a lovely patisserie/coffee shop with a great choice of sandwiches/cakes/ biscuits and ice cream, coffee & tea. The Bar is as good as most and there was a choice of branded drinks and we enjoyed our Gordon’s G&T’s with the obligatory Schweppes/ice & cucumber, bar staff very attentive and you never waited long to have your drinks replenished. The hotel was about 1/3 full and the animation team and entertainment provided was decent. Rooms are kept spotless by the cleaners and of a decent size with the beds extremely comfortable, but a walk-in shower would be beneficial. I have to mention the cleaners extra mile in displaying the bedding and towels as Swans/Hearts etc and made the room very inviting There's a very decent indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym which we used daily. The grounds are kept immaculate by some very green fingered staff and look superb when the sun was out. We are no spring chickens and if fit enough would love to return in the future. Lazy rude and intrusive reception, guest relations and housekeeping and Poor Management I have been at this hotel less than 24 hours, so far I have been harassed by another guest who was Turkish. I have found my safe open, have been accused of sneaking in another guest after the housekeeper riffled through my belongs & decided my trainers and coat belonged to a man. Guest relations and management were as helpful as a chocolate teapot. This is not a 5 star hotel by British or Turkish standard. The place is tired & needs updating and I have never received such appalling customer service in my life. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else. The Delphian Palace, Laura Barut and Royal Wings would be my recommendation. Oh and I almost forgot the bath doesn’t empty..

This was our 5th visit to this hotel. Great staff and fantastic food. We treat it like our second home. Only the animation team let's it down, no imagination. Beware of ordering a taxi at the end of the street Kemeragi taxi rank, they are total ripoffs, not using their meters and overcharging passengers.

I we had a lovely time at the Melas hotel. We met Selin from the amination team who was amazing. Selin spoke many languages and was good with the children. We enjoyed talking to her as her English is perfect. We would recommend the Melas to our friends.

You can’t fault this hotel. Food is great, staff are very hardworking and friendly .Rooms are fab . Sauna, steam room and Turkish bath is very good. Entertainment was a bit chessy but this is not uncommon during off season. It has it own private beach. Will definitely go back. It is in a nice area of Antalya and also about 30 minutes from the airport. Overall a very nice break with good value for money

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Positives Cleanliness- extremely clean throughout the entire hotel including outdoor areas. Food- amazing excellent choices, presentation, taste, service. It is certainly not a typical hotel buffet the best I have ever experienced. Nazan- was very friendly and so helpful lady she is amazing. House keeping ladies were very friendly and worked extremely hard to ensure our beds were comfortable when we had issues with twin beds. Gym- was fantastic with modern equipment life fitness brand cardio and resistance machine as well as free weights. Good size for a hotel gym. Pool was good size with friendly life guard. We paid additional for massage this was excellent value. Two sauna and one steam room well maintained. Negatives TV in the rooms are dated with only news channels in English. Smart TV upgrade would be great. Getting in and out of bath /overhead shower would be challenging for individuals with mobility issues. Lighting in the room was dark.

This was the first time we visited Antalya, stopping in for a 5 day beach break. We were new to the all-inclusive concept in general. Overall we have Melas Laura high marks for the quality product they deliver, and the genuine hospitality with which it is delivered, Pros: Smaller resort which allows more personal service and less crowded feeling. We always had 3 pool lounges together by the pool, no problem whatsoever. Aerobics class in the pool was good fun. Pool and furniture were sparkling. Food was plentiful, excellent variety, healthy options, beautifully presented without exception. Even though times were published, there was never a time that the buffet or service ended on schedule—it normally stayed open longer, and in some cases began earlier. We particularly enjoyed the live cooking sessions with the donuts (pisi) and tempura bananas. Yum!!! The food operation was unbelievable—efficient and excellent. Buffet dinner officially began at 19:00, but they allowed people in at 18:40 or so. Fresh squeezed orange juice was superb, as were the desserts. Simply amazing. Top marks for the pastry chef. Truly. The resort was immaculate in all areas, Maude and out. I cannot say enough about this point. We had the feeling that staff were genuinely warm and friendly. Extremely efficient service. So many smiles. We left tips for the housekeeper Leyla (❤️), Leave your fancy stuff at home, this is a laid back resort where you don’t have to compete with the Jones’s. Flip flops, a bathing suit, and a sundress is all you need. Air conditioning was nothing short of phenomenal. We could sleep in a super cold room, just the way we like it. Beds super comfortable. Loved the blanket wrapped in fresh sheet. Hygienic and comfortable. Family room was huge and super comfortable. For a 5 day break there’s no need to leave the hotel. And for those on a right budget, you’ll not have any additional costs. Seem to have lots of entertainment options for all ages. We did not participate as we were happy to just hang out in the pool. Overall many thanks to the staff who made our little break enjoyable. Cons: None of these were showstoppers for us, based on the type of holiday we were looking for. There are no à la carte restaurants. Meals were only buffet. Pillows were lumpy. I used two and it was fine. Hotel does not offer watercraft, floats, etc. Floats are available at a reasonable price in the hotel shop (cash or credit/Apple Pay only) and they will inflate them for you. A 3rd party offers motorized watercraft/water sports by the beach at absolutely criminal prices…no thanks. We bought a raft and enjoyed that. The hotel does not seem to have concierge services. However a TUI representative was physically there to arrange tours and boat trips etc. I booked through Kuoni and had only a phone number to call if I needed something. If I book this hotel again it will be through TUI. They’ve got a lot of cocktails to choose from (unbranded) b
