Hotel berhampiran Ibalong Festival Monument, Albay

Pros: 1. Location is the best if you want to be near all the shopping malls and easy access to food. 2. The price is reasonable. 3. Don't expect too much for the price you pay. 4. The cleaning of the room is by request. That is why they don't have the do not disturb door signs. Cons: 1. If there is a choice between a junior suite (rm. 4) and an executive suite (rm. 5 and 6) and the price is right, go for the executive suite because it is bigger. 2. I saw a small live cockroach in the bathroom (rm.4) 3. The rainfall and hand held shower heads have molds (rm. 4) 4. The bidet water head also has some mold (rm. 4) 5. The junior suite (Rm. 4) is really small for a queen bed which takes over the whole room. No place to put your luggage. 6. I first booked a junior suite for the first 3 nights and 4 nights were booked on the executive suite. They were not able to give me the executive suite to some mix-up in their booking. I had to have a discussion with the manager (I think she's the owner too) Ms. Elaine to see what they will do about it. At first I was promised she'll fix it but on the day of my move to the executive suite they want me to just stay on the junior suite. After some back and forth with Ms. Elain and a bit of minor arguing they just gave me a 10% discount on the remainder of my stay, Even though that ruined my expectations to have a bigger room, I don't want to be unfair.

the hotel is very basic, no cabinet, the water in the sink is very slow, had a hot water. Its kind of old and no proper meantinance, no elevator so if you had a problem climbing the stairs this is not for you. the bed is good, the sheet are already warring out the color white is now getting dark. tv reception is bad, I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

My recent stay at the Lotus Blu Hotel left me thoroughly disappointed. The absence of essential amenities, including a gym and a pool, was a significant drawback. Furthermore, the quality of breakfast was subpar and did not meet expectations. Considering the price I paid, the value for money was far from fair. Adding to my dissatisfaction, the hotel did not accommodate a late check-out without additional charges, despite ongoing construction on the second floor. It was disappointing that the hotel did not make any effort to offer a free late check-out or provide compensation for the disturbance caused by the construction. Moreover, as a guest who frequently stays out early and returns very late at night due to business commitments, I had hoped for a more understanding and accommodating approach from the hotel. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Taking into account the lack of amenities, unsatisfactory breakfast, unfair pricing, inflexibility with late check-outs, and the hotel's failure to cater to my specific needs, I have decided that I will not be returning to the Lotus Blu Hotel in the future.

The service was as good or better than a 5 star hotel. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed it very much. The staff were very helpful and outgoing! We will stay in your hotel everytime we go to the province to visit my wife's family.

In spite of the previous bad reviews I booked this hotel as they were reopening which I thought meant they have improved the hotel. They should have not opened yet at this stage where they are still fixing the hotel rooms and amenities. Maybe when they're finished renovating and they're fully open, it would be a better time to stay. Stay away if you want a comfy hotel stay. There were 2 incidents of brownout during our stay, on the 2nd one they couldn't fix the problem in our room, while the other rooms had electricity. Maintenance had to go inside our room in the middle of the night. They tried to fix it but eventually had us transfer to a different room at almost 1am. Then we were hoping to sleep in, as we were tired from the previous night's issue, but at 7am the noise of drilling woke us up. Food: Disappointing food choices. They have a restaurant and a coffeeshop. Good coffee and pastries. But on the main restaurant, there were only 3 food choices in our entire 4-day stay: bicol express bagnet, sinigang bagnet and hainanese chicken. Breakfast was dismal, plated tapa/longganisa and egg, then 2nd option bread, ham, egg and sweet sausage. The taste was just okay. At one point we opted to have a breakfast buffet instead at a nearby hotel (M*r*s*n Hotel). Room: The view is definitely fantastic and our room was near the swimming pool which I appreciated. But the room is small. No trashcan in the bathroom, no hangers and laundry bags, but they promptly provided after I asked for it. No rack for towels. No hair dryer and they can't provide one when I asked for it as another guest is currently using it. The bed is not comfy, it is hard and no available room with a king-sized bed. Random noises from the work they're doing in the other rooms so you can't really relax or sleep at day time. One of the keycards kept on malfunctioning so I kept on going back to the lobby to have it reset. Others: Definitely great views and location. Wide open spaces but common areas are usually warm as the airconditioning is off on most areas. Lobby restroom appears clean but smells awful. There is no hand sanitizer or soap. Overall value: Php 5k promo rate and 7k for regular rate per night. It was not worth it. Spa: The staff and massage was great but the spa is still on the works, I even had to play music from my phone as their amenities are incomplete. They could have at least warned us that the hotel is not yet fully functional and renovated. Or they couldv'e just fixed the hotel first before having guests. Staff: The hotel staff was the gem of the hotel as they did their best in spite of the poor situation. They were kind, friendly, quick to respond and professional. Everyone was very helpful and easy to deal with.

This was our first time staying at Emerald Boutique Hotel (EBH). This was our experience… We had originally booked a place to stay via airbnb. However, upon arrival, the place was nothing like the description. So, we didn’t even have to think twice about not staying there. That will have its own review. Getting back to our experience at EBH. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a smile by France. We inquired about a room and was told that they were booked for the night. However, she was kind enough to double check and see if all of the expected guests had arrived. After much effort, she was finally able to accommodate us for the night at the third floor but reserve a second floor for us since my father has a difficulty in climbing stairs. The following day, we were able to transfer to the second floor as promised. A day later after breakfast, we were fortunate enough to meet the hotel’s owner and general manager. Apparently the owner overheard the conversations that we had the night before and wanted to help us. We informed, Mr. Noel and Mr. Leo that we need an accommodations for about 30 days maybe even longer but was informed that we could only stay for only one night since all the rooms are booked. However, we didn’t want to move since we really like the hotel and it is near to some of the offices that we need to go to. After a few more conversations with the owner and the hotel’s general manager, we were told to go to our room and to just relax amd that they will take care of things and will give us an update asap or no later than by close of business. After a few hours, Mr. Leo personally came up to our room to give us the great news that we don’t need to worry and that we can stay in our room. We did receive a call from the front desk in the latter part of the day due to some miscommunications between the staff. I reached out to Mr. Leo to inform him of the situation and he took immediate action to resolve the situation and promised me that such issues would not happen again. Emerald Boutique Hotel is a hidden secret hotel. The service is top notch. The room attendants are on point. The food, I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s just say that I have probably gained a few pounds just from my few days stay thus far. Mr. Renz is also there to assist you if you have any questions. If you’re looking for a five star experience and still want to save money to be able to do other things, look no more. Book your stay at the Emerald Boutique Hotel. The place is perfect for all locations nearby markets, malls and attractions. The receptionist is nice and very accommodating. Perfect for all types of stay, solo, couples and friends.. Will definitely visit and stay at this place again.

Very accommodating and has a great angle of view of Mt. Mayon

Top rate accommodations. We had a villa suite and it was complete with every amenity to ensure comfort and luxury. The bathroom was very spacious with Roman tub, shower room and toilet plus a large vanity area with his and hers sinks. Nice dining area which already had a table setting for two. King sized bed with a love seat at the foot of the bed and a sofa by the window. Their television system was updated and allowed us the enjoy our Netflix at night. The grounds were well manicured and the pools were beautiful - an infinity pool and a another pool that run through the villas. The service we got from the staff was warm and outstanding. We were pampered by the staff. Meals at the restaurant was delicious. The waiters were very attentive but one waiter Jayson Valdevieso stood out amongst the rest - he made our dinners artistic with his table arrangements and went the extra mile in service. He would recommend delicious authentic Bicolano cuisine and these never failed to delight us. When Jayson learned that I loved ikebana, he created ikebana centerpiece specially for our table from foliage materials that he got from the resort gardens. Misibis Bay Resort is a destination that will not disappoint.

Spent a couple of nights at the motel while visiting the Bicol area and the Mayon volcano, We booked three double rooms and each room has a double bed, a closet, a lot of fake flowers, and a bathroom connected to a standing shower. For the room itself, there is not much to highlight besides that the water from the standing shower will wet the entire bathroom floor. If you wear your outdoor shoes to use the bathroom, it would be easy to mess up the floor in the bedroom. The overall vibe of the hotel is very Chinese oriented with sharp colors, fake flowers, and blinking lights throughout the property. It is located in the countryside so inserts and ants are everywhere. If you put any food in the room (no fridge provided) overnight, be prepared to see a trail of million ants in the morning. I guess there is no need for me to explain why I would know that. The best part of the hotel is the view of the volcano on the 5th floor in the early morning, the in-house restaurant that opens until 11PM at night, and the all-day coffee at the reception. Staff are friendly. If you are not a rice person, just make sure to bring bread with you in zip locks or you will be regretted!
