Patacona Resort Apartments Primera Linea

Our contract with ******* included transfers from and to airport. This was confirmed by Liz, US telephone agent a few days before leaving for holiday. In the event, transfers were not available and we had to pay €38 for taxis both ways. Having to collect keys from an office 200 metres away, whilst remainder of family waited at the resort with luggage, was an inconvenience. Also, the office was not identified by a building number and not easy to find. Finding a welcome note in the apar**ent would have been a nice feature but there was nothing only notices about onerous fines for non compliance with rules. Quality and quantity of cutlery and crockery in the apar**ent rather basic and well worn. No tin opener and cork screw of no use. Handle turned on stem making it impossible to remove a cork from a wine bottle. Absence of a dish cloth and tea towel. Toaster rather tired and dirty. Rather peculiar lounge furniture, with numerous small drawers but not really functional. Shower head fell off holder as soon as water was turned on. No plug for basin in bath room. Excellent swimming pool in complex but start of availability rather late at 10.30am. Lifeguard presence good. Security on site excellent. Proximity to superb beach a big plus. Very few bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of complex. Local bus service excellent. In summary, a rather tired apar**ent in a good complex and local vicinity.

Sea view apar**ent is somewhat a misnomer, as we get to see a partial view of the Mediterranean from our little balcony, But it remains a pleasant apar**ent, for 2 or 3 people. It is hard to imagine a group of 6 living in this limited space, that has just the one bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a pull-out sofa in the living-room. The sofa can seat 3 people at most, and it is unfortunately quite uncomfortable for that purpose. There are 4 dining-room chairs plus 4 patio chairs. Our host is a courteous young man who has responded quickly and positively to our requests, for such things as ice cube trays, a rubber mat for the walk-in shower floor, extra hangers. Given this is low season, he even got us complimentary underground parking for the duration of our stay (3 weeks) which was an attractive bonus. The apar**ent is located within a complex of 3 large buildings that surround a very broad courtyard with a big swimming pool, children’s playgrounds and 2 paddle tennis courts. We are on the third floor and our view is of the building facing us on the other side of the courtyard. For all intents and purposes, the tennis courts are in constant use, from 10 am to 10 pm. Most times, there are 4 players on each court and the noise from their rackets becomes unnerving after a while. This is a lively community unto itself, with people speaking loudly, children screaming, babies crying, dogs barking. Several other ‘surprises’ awaited us unfortunately, and I feel we need to be transparent about what to expect if you stay here. First off, the apar**ent is better suited for short-term rentals, and preferably Spaniards, given, for instance, that TV is totally in Spanish with not a single channel in any other language. Lucky that Netflix is provided, but we were stunned to realize that, even though there are 3 TV sets in the apar**ent, they must all be watching the same Netflix show at the same time. Owners have not provided for multiple Netflix accounts. The kitchenette is too small for 2 people to work in it, and has very little storage space for food. It offers all of the large appliances one needs, but otherwise, it is poorly equipped, with few pots and cooking utensils. There isn’t even a vegetable peeler. All large utensils are rigid metal whereas the pans are teflon coated. If you plan to do actual cooking, you will need to bring your own paraphernalia or demand that the owner purchase them for the apar**ent. We barely managed and made do with what was available. There are a clothes washer and dryer however, which are a real asset. And you’ll likely be provided with basics such as toilet paper, paper towels, salt (but no other spices), oil, coffee pods, assorted cleaning products, dishwasher and liquid dish soaps. A cleaning lady comes once a week and does a cursory job, changing the linens and cleaning as much as she can within the hour allotted to her. We were a bit taken aback by the fact that the tap water wasn’t potable, to the extent that we didn’

Brilliant location next to the beach. Apar**ent not flashy but perfectly clean and comfortable for a holiday base and kitchen well equipped. Good clear instructions given for after hours check in but did need an extra bit of help to locate the apar**ent. Security man was very helpful and we got by with his English attempts and my Spanish….towels were provided which I wasn’t expecting but my towel, whilst clean, was full of holes.

so, we booked on the road, thinking it's Valencia ,which it isn't Our bad experience started with trying to find the place - the reception was 300 metres away, and the older guy there showed us the wrong staircase, so at 11pm I was trying the wrong door and a woman screamed Then we got back in the car and tried to find the correct place - very difficult , much time wsted and everybody exhausted , and we are good navigators the pool was closed ,this being mid October flat itself was nice , except the loose front door lock , it could be good in summer , if you stay a week, ust don't arrive late

El apartamento situado en una zona tranquila,bien comunicado con trasporte publico,pero recomendable alquilar coche.El menaje de cocina horroroso(sartenes que se pega todo,tostadora que hace saltar la luz,no habia escurridor para alimentos,ni un cuchillo de cocina decente).muy justito.Espacioso y muy luminoso.

Appartamento alla fine puo anche passare a parte vista sul autostrada ( su la prenotazione ci hanno detto vista piscina e mare)e mancanza di doccia ( vasca con la tendina brry che schifo! ) .Piacina che stata punto fondamentale di scegliere proprio questo "resort" chiusa!Poi reception. ..a qui c'è da ridere o piangere nostra figlia ha pianto x un ora...Un signore parlante soltanto in spagnolo ( gentile x carità) senza un computer senza una lista do ospiti nulla..senza chiavi x nostro apartamento pagato..terrificante in 2023.Chiavi bisogna andare a prendere su un altro palazzo distante 10 min di camminata ! Quindi niente se possibile evitate..

No nos dieron apartamento contratado y cuando protestamos nos lo cambiaron aunque tampoco era lo contratado. Y la calefacción no funcionaba. La excusa era que llevábamos perro. Pero el perro entraba en la habitación contratada.
