Hotel is okay,it's an older unit in a rough part of town.Trash outside and inside my room,hallway and rear entrance was not emptied daily.Car in rear parking lot was vandalized while I was there, not my car, there were many warning signs not to leave valuables in cars.I was there 2 1/2 days never received new towels for the ones I used,although bathroom and room was clean when I arrived. Had a bad problem with the room door opening from the outside, I am fairly strong ,but I had to hip-check the door every time to get into my ,it's so obvious that cleaning staff must have reported It was that hard to open,I am easy-going but it needs reported and repaired.

The grounds and ****** were very nice. However, the music in the ****** was just a bit too loud. Heard someone else complain about that too. The hotel room was quiet, spotless, and absolutely beautiful. Nice touches all around.

the cleaning lady knocked at my door TWICE before the check out time of noon, once at ca. 09:30 and another at ca. 1130. I complained to the receptionist, who had the cheek to ask me if I had put the do not disturb sign on. The lack of courtesy at this hotel is stunning. Next time (not with me though), try knocking at everybody's door every hour.
This is NOT a welcoming place and should not be patronized.

I thought the location was great. Downtown is relatively slow moving but it seems create easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms are relatively basic I got to experience the ones with an updated bathroom and the ones without. The gym is very lackluster and the pool is even more so. Staff is hit or miss. Some people were kind and attentive, others were not. There’s definitely construction going on so there are the sounds of that happening throughout the hotel. Other than that there’s not much more to tell. Nothing that really stands out in a negative or positive way.

PPengguna TetamuA knock on our door at 8pm my wife opened the door to be met by the front desk lady aggressively telling her “multiple complaints about excessive noise and shouting from our room, she had listened at our door and heard screaming and if she got one more complaint we would have to leave the hotel”. I called back down stairs as I was in shock - i thought she must have the wrong room - the only noise was from our perhaps boisterous 6 year old who was watching a kids show on YouTube kids. But she again reiterated “screaming” and that we would be forced to leave. In my opinion I don’t think you could find a quieter family. Certainly the TV would have made more noise. Shocking unbelievably bad customer service - simply asking us to keep the noise down as someone had complained would have been sufficient - but the instant escalation to leave the hotel…..left us feeling very upset. If we disturbed someone at 8pm in the evening, we are truly sorry. The noise insulation seemed good in the hotel - we only heard occasional doors closing and the freeway traffic outside. We had got in from dinner around 7:15pm after a 9 hour drive. After the complaint at 8pm we spent the next 45 mins whispering and stressing that somehow we were going to be put out in the street in a Saturday night in Albuquerque, before going to sleep. Needless to say it was a restless night sleep. As for the hotel, we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express hotel the night before in Fort Worth. So we had a direct compare and contrast. In Albuquerque the shower did not work and there was a problem with the functionality of the blackout shades. The breakfast was a little disappointing as there was only half of the items offered actually available (the sausage and biscuits were great). No yogurts, cinnamon roles, bread for toast. And there was a distinct absence of any staff replenishing food, or cleaning tables etc. Check in was also odd - we had booked a prepaid non cancellation 2 x queen bed room (for our family of 4). Arrived around 5pm. At check in “sorry I don’t have that room, but I do have a king suite with a sofa bed; the hotel is fully booked”. I explained that didn’t work for us, we needed two beds. After some time on the computer the lady said ok, I have a room for you “someone else is going to be disappointed when they check in tonight”. I have no idea what the criteria used to select disappointing a guest were. Overall something just not right with the way this property was running.

PPengguna TetamuI really appreciated the staff , real problem solvers and genuinely nice people. One even helped me find a less expensive place to stay to fit my budget. Complimentary coffee ( varied options) , water dispenser in lobby, and a fantastic very large tv in the bedroom were some draw cards. I could use my Netflix membership easily . I didn’t get the included breakfast as I booked through a third party so explore booking direct . The breakfast sounded good:) . It certainly offers a far nicer ambience than the less expensive place I relocated to . Their Nice carefully picked staff make a big difference. They should all be complimented ! :)

PPengguna TetamuAt first glance this hotel looks pretty good. Attractive entrance, nice looking little bistro on first floor (which unfortunately was closed on a Monday night), modern and inviting. However, once you get into the main part of the hotel, hallway carpeting is worn, decor is outdated, and elevator is small and uninviting. I could have looked past that except that I use a walker and we had a wheelchair on our luggage cart and we were put almost at the far end of the second floor (our fault for not specifically asking for a handicap accessible room, but with the hotel almost empty this shouldn't have happened!). The room itself was fine, beds are comfortable, but again everything looks a little dated. The fabric chair in the room had something black streaked on the one arm, and our bathtub was absolutely disgusting. It literally looked like an ashtray had been dumped in it. On top of that the bathroom is so small the door opens right up onto the toilet. I should have complained and insisted on being moved, but we were only there the one night. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the airport, and walking distance to an Applebee's, so these were positives. My husband used points to book this hotel, so obviously we are frequent Marriott users, so I would have expected better. There are MANY other hotel choices all within a mile radius, so I'd probably pick something else next time!

PPengguna TetamuIf it wasn’t for the helpful front desk clerk, I would have rated this place a 1 star. First off, there were hardly any decent priced rooms during the Balloonfiesta so it was slim pickings and that’s how we ended up here. I booked the room to have a microwave and fridge so when we checked it the first room upstairs, it did not have that equipment so I explained to the clerk that I paid extra for it online. She swapped rooms for us. The room was bleak - no tub just a shower, no pictures or mirrors just basic. One night is okay, we could walk to the rental car the next morning.

BBhapleThe food was grab and go and being allergic to cinnamon and berries breakfast was, an un satisfying piece of fruit and coffee. Not sure why they haven’t changed the breakfast back to the waffles. The front desk staff was nice and friendly and the towels were extremely soft, fluffy and was almost completely un-scented. The pool area was poorly lit and it looked like a good setup for a murder scene. The hot tub only had one jet working but at least the water was hot. I was shocked they had a sauna that actually worked well. The bed frame had blood on it and the mattress cover was dirty, But because the floor didn’t have carpet, the floor was well cleaned.
