Hotel berhampiran Eastern Hill Lookout, Albury

We stopped here overnight on a recent trip to Melbourne. We had a family room and it was good. The beds were comfy, aircon was good, the unit was clean and the bathroom was OK. Parking is right at the door to the room. the host was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this motel.

Great hotel. Great service. Room as spacious, comfortable and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The amenities were great. The restaurant, whilst not top notch, had delicious food although a bit on the expensive side. The location is superb. A short walk into town or cross the road for a stroll to the mighty Murray River. A short trip to the Army Museum. Highly recommend the BBB Bakery next to the hotel for food, pastries and coffee. Pastries at Nord Bakery was also superb. Looking forward to our next holiday at this hotel.

For us the Boomerang is midway between home and Canberra, we stayed on the way to Canberra and because we enjoyed it stayed again on the return trip. The motel is part of the larger Hotel complex and although not the Ritz it is comfortable, clean and has all the appointments that you may need for a short stay. BONUS, rooms are very reasonably priced. The rooms vary in age but are neat, tidy and clean. The bed was very comfy providing a good nights' sleep. One criticism, especially me getting a bit older, is the bathrooms. The first bathroom had a shower over bath which in itself is not that easy to navigate, the second bathroom was more modern with a shower recess, but the level of the floor in the bathroom is considerably higher than the room floor and again is a real trip hazard. Restaurant in the hotel is great. Good food, inexpensive and very tasty. The Thursday night steak night is a real winner, a 250gm rump, chips and salad for a mere $15.00, and you get the added bonus of the Nepalese kitchen staff providing what I call accidental entertainment. Their constant banter, jokes among themselves and other staff plus singing is very refreshing. HIGHLIGHT, front office, bar, floor and kitchen staff are some of the happiest and most helpful staff/people you could find. Nothing is too much trouble. If my rating were to be done on them, it would be 5 star. They are a credit to the establishment and management should be congratulated.

Great experience. Quality rooms, very clean and maintained. Good was excellent and room service very quick. Amenities were perfect for a business traveller like myself. Highly recommend, business, family getaway or just passing through.

The Quest Wodonga is ideally situated for our stays in that area and we appreciate the undercover parking and the gated car part area for security. Having the Huon Tavern adjoining the Quest is a tremendous bonus, as we did not have to leave the building to eat out. The menu there was excellent too.

Our family of 3 stayed in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin (no.9) for 4 nights - Saturday to Wednesday - in March 2023. The Good: - Park was clean and well maintained - Water in Lake Hume was full and came right up to beautiful grassed bbq area (see photos) - Very quiet (especially at night) - Cabin was spotlessly clean - Supplies were plentiful - Linen on beds was high quality and very comfortable - extra, warm blankets were available in cupboard - wifi good - Supplies such as cooking spray and paper towel provided at BBQs - fantastic! - Big, shady trees throughout are beautiful - Easy parking at front for any visitors The not-so-good: -The park feels cramped. Cabins are very close together. I think it would be very noisy with louder people next door in busy times. - Roads within park are very narrow - Spa needs to be booked. Sorry, but I found this odd. - Pedal Go Karts cost $10 per hour each. Surely the use of these could be included in the tarriff (we paid almost $1000 for 4 nights in off-season). - Some old permanent vans/cabins look shabby and bring down the otherwise pretty look of the park An overall pleasant stay! Overall experience is awesome 👌 my kids loved a jumping pillow... and nice lake view
