I travel to Knoxville about every other week. I have started staying at this location becasue the IHG booked UT for the entire year. This property is conveniently located off the interstate and has several food choices near by plus a bar and restaurant on-site. But the best part is the willingness to make your stay the best you can have by the staff. Every single person I have interacted with has gone above and beyond and have kept me coming back. Great property overall.

The staff was courteous and professional from arrival to checkout. The accommodations were clean, quiet and comfortable. We don't need all the bells and whistles of a modern contemporary establishment with a higher cost so the Extended Stay America Knoxville was perfect for our visit and our budget.

We stayed here as part of the Park Sleep Fly program the night before we flew to Orlando for a week-long stay. We scheduled the shuttle for 4 am on departure day, but when we got downstairs they informed us an employee had taken the keys home and there was no shuttle but that they had called a cab for a family leaving later and we could ride along. By the time the taxi got there, 3 groups needed a ride, but there weren’t enough seats, so one person had to sit in the trunk. We arrived at the airport about 30 min later than planned. The hotel staff told us that when we landed late at night the following weekend, we should just call the hotel to request for the shuttle to pick us up. We called, but no one answered after 20-30 rings. When I tried a few min later, someone answered and told me they didn’t have anyone else working that night, so I would need to find my own crack and they would Cover it. There were no taxis waiting since it was a late flight and the airport was essentially closed. We ended up having to book an Uber driver, which delayed us about 30 min, and we still had a 2 hour drive home. I definitely would not recommend using this hotel for that service. The rooms were fine, but the service was not good. We didn’t receive a parking pass until we remembered to ask for it, either. I booked here as a travel agent hoping I could recommend this hotel to my clients, but I definitely will NOT be recommending it.

Every is good. Front desk staff is very polite and helpful. The location is best for traveler who arrive at the airport late at night. It has a covered walkway from the airport to the hotel. You will never get lost for sure. Once you arrive at the airport and pick your bag from the baggage claims, you will see a signpost to the hotel. Super convenient and safe. (Unfortunately, I visit this hotel when there’s kind of construction so the water is affected and unclean at that time. But I know if I visit here again at the right time, it will be very best experience)

I read a number of recent reviews before booking this property. I lived in Knoxville many years and know the area well. The last several reviews were really pretty positive. I wanted to write a more balanced review, because those reviews didn't accurately depict the positives and negatives of the property. We were in town for a funeral and really just needed a place to sleep. First the positives: Great location. Friendly staff. Inexpensive. Safe and quiet, with a comfortable bed. And a decent Continental breakfast. So a lot of upside to this property. Now the negatives: It is rundown. Dirty, scuffed and stained walls in the common areas. Carpets, curtains and other features completely worn out. Poor maintenance. A cereal wrapper was on the landing at the west staircase when we checked in on Tuesday and still there when we checked out on Friday. The TV seems like it's being run through someone's laptop. Grainy and constantly stops. No microwaves in the rooms, though there is a mini fridge. When the room was made up, the linens weren't changed for some reason. Shower attachment bracket was broken and the sprayer was just tucked into the assist bar. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. It's much rougher in person than the pictures indicate. But if you can live with the negatives, a pretty good value if you're on a budget.
