Hotel stay was far less than satisfactory and here are the reasons: 1. Some Front Desk staff didn’t know how the Bonvoy Ambassador hotel credit worked providing evidence many are poorly trained. a. The morning front desk member told me that he “just worked here” and the manager would arrive in a couple of hours to help me. No one ever got back to me. b. Requested manager support, not one got back to me. 2. Hotel room had: a. Collapsed cushions on the couch. b. Mold in bathroom c. Broken or extremely worn furniture. d. Torn and ripped window drapes 3. Billing was wrong and difficult to correct. Our family grew up managing hotels and I know that owning and operating a hotel is very difficult, this hotel exemplifies just how hard it is. I will not stay at this hotel again because there are so many other quality hotels in the area at the same cost.

I stayed at this property a little more than a year ago for work. It was satisfactory, although I used the fitness center on that visit and the equipment was not all in working order. Although my expectations for this hotel were not high, the experience was still disappointing. The room was fine, although there appeared to be water damage in the ceiling, visible in the form of paint discoloration (room 706). When I checked in for the two-night stay, I requested housekeeping. It said on the website that housekeeping is done every other day, except on request. The person who checked me in seemed a bit unsure, so I verified the following morning. I arrived back at my room around 7 p.m. to find no one had come. Ironically, the housekeeper left a paper with a QR code waiting for me when I checked in to leave a tip. When I went to complain, I was told (by the same person who checked me in the previous evening) there was nothing that could be done. Really? There was no one from housekeeping on site? No fresh towels in the hotel? I also paid for a rate with breakfast. I was not provided with any information when checking in, until I asked. At that time, I was provided with a card explaining what I was entitled to. On both mornings I ordered the yogurt parfait with fruit and granola, a fruit cup, and a small coffee. On both mornings the fruit was tasteless. This included hard strawberries, unripe cantaloupe, and blueberries. Even the blueberries were tasteless. This really is shameful. Had I not paid for a rate with breakfast, those items and a small coffee would have cost me more than $25 with tax. Finally, I delayed writing this review. I completed the survey sent automatically, providing the information above. Today, I received a pro forma response from the Assistant Manager. This lackadaisical response was the last straw and I feel that it is appropriate for me to share this experience with others.
