Hotel berhampiran Khait PVC, Algiers

We stayed on two separate occasions in November 2023 and both times the experiences were exceptional. The hotel is a short, covered walk from the airport and you instantly feel very safe, secure and comfortable—even walking to the property at 2 a.m. following a rough two days of air travel. The property itself is new, clean, beautiful, quiet and airy. The rooms were thoughtfully laid out and spacious; well-appointed with bath tub and shower, remote control blinds, fridge, and floor level nightlights with sensors so that you could safely get up in the middle of the night without ever needing to switch on a light. The pillows suited the different tastes of each member of our family and the bed linens were soft and luxurious. We all slept uncharacteristically well. The pool was beautiful and there were a seemingly endless supply of loungers and cosy seating areas. The restaurant was wonderful and featured a large selection of options. Room service was also great with a nice selection of standard dishes and local specialities and food was hot when delivered. But as incredible as everything was, the best part of hotel was its absolutely amazing, multilingual staff! They’re truly extraordinary—very attentive to guests and dedicated to making your stay as pleasant and remarkable as possible. On our second stay, we arrived in the late afternoon and about ten minutes after arriving to our room, there was a knock at the door; two staff were there with bedding and offered to make up the pull-out couch as a bed for our child. We didn’t request this or even think it was an option but there they were, anticipating needs we didn’t even know we had! But we were most impressed when, at the dinner buffet, a staff member approached my son and I asking if my son was unhappy with the food choices; I explained he was a picky eater and asked it might be possible to get a simple cheese sandwich. The staff member immediately sprung into action, offered some special options for my son and within minutes we had a made-to-order cheese sandwich with fries and a happy little boy. We simply cannot express how deeply impressed we were with the hotel and staff. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay!

We stayed here in a superior king room for 3 nights. We had a good view of the gardens and the room was fairly modern. It was somewhat small. We had enough space to store our luggage but it was pretty tight. The bathroom worked well but was pretty dated. The toilet area was very tight due to the placement of the toilet dispenser next to your leg. An excellent breakfast was included in our rate. Lots of variety and very good service. They have a bar and two restaurants, one of which served breakfast plus other meals. The bar has a good variety of drinks and you can order food. Quality was good although prices are high compared to local prices. Front desk personnel and concierge were extremely helpful. Housekeeping did a great job. Smoking is permitted in many areas of the hotel, including the bar. As a result, the hotel smells like smoke in a lot of places. This place isn’t perfect but we liked it a lot. I would give it a 4.5 if I could but rounded up because of their very good service and excellent breakfast.

Stayed here during our week’s tour of Algeria. The location is perfect in downtown Algiers and easy to walk everywhere you need to. Lots of restaurants, shops and attractions on your doorstep. The rooms are fairly basic, but quite comfortable, spacious enough and spotlessly clean. The lobby has an attractive appearance and all the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast is a bit disappointing; pretty limited in the choice of cold meats and cheeses, but probably sufficient for many people. We did have an issue with the plumbing in our room, but the staff were quick to try and resolve it. There’s plenty of hot water from the shower. The bar does not serve alcohol, but we found a few places nearby that do. Overall, a good value hotel with helpful staff in an ideal location.

酒店有很久的歷史，據說是之前的國王居住過的地方。重新裝修過，每一層樓的設計和裝修都很漂亮，環境非常好，床很大，很新，陽台的景色很好，有格調。服務態度特別好，還有送餐服務。早餐還不錯。雖然廁所偶爾有點味道，畢竟是有歷史的酒店，但依然很喜歡這裏。唯一不夠完美的是一樓的中餐廳，中餐很好吃，北京湯很好喝，然而，我們點的牛扒和意大利麵沒有醬汁，我們請服務員給我們給我們一點醬汁，拿了兩次都是很稀的湯，不知道是什麼東西做的，反正跟我們之前吃的完全不一樣。服務員可能不高興了，叫我們不滿意的話自己去廚房做，這點給餐廳減了很多分。

On a positive note, the view from the sea-facing rooms is absolutely gorgeous and the private balconies are a great place to relax. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable, however signs of age and lack of maintenance are starting to show. Whilst some staff are friendly and courteous, the majority behave more like civil servants than people in the hospitality industry. “The customer comes first” is definitely missing in their training manuals. Instead, one is made to feel that compliance to their rules is more important. I asked room service for an iron and was told no irons were provided because I “had to use the hotel laundry service”. My colleagues and I were told off by the security guard at the door for bringing bottled water into the hotel because “we had to purchase it in-house”. I waited over 20 minutes after a very long journey for someone to show up at the front desk and check me into my room. My check-in was interrupted twice by other guests requesting their room keys to be reprogrammed and instead of asking them to wait or refer them to a colleague, I was left hanging. The hotel is regularly used for ministerial meetings and visits, and the customer service declines even further as staff rush to cater to government officials and their entourages instead of their guests.

I’ve been in this hotel for the last 15 day of August, I could/should say, it I very convenient location a big plus is the service and quality of it, eating will never disappoint you a the restaurant; the staff including the Chef will spoil you, if not, they will make sure something can be arranged to make you happy, they will help and treat you like a family, at the restaurant Sofiane and his colleagues are amazing. While taking care of yourself and your room, Narimane, Marouane and Siham (I am 100%, I misspelled their names) are very lovely and 150% committed to be your comfortability. Ahh… the front desk staff are as good as mother could be, they make sure you are comfortable, safe, and good serviced. What can I tell you, I am 100% and 1000 time happy customer.

Great facility, in very good location on the sea side , I do come here off and on with my work team , and I'm always impressed with the staff working here from front desk to restaurant staff , housekeeping .. I would like to praise Mrs ”Fatima” working in the restaurant for her warm welcome everytime I go there for any of my meals , she holds a genuine welcoming attitude and always smiles to us , thank you for your great service I have to empathise about algerian cuisine , A MUST TRY !
